Check in instructions were clear and the staff helpful when we couldn’t find the remote for the A/C (it’s behind the bedroom door). Very well located, with buses and trams nearby, quiet neighbourhood. Great price for the 3nights we stayed there. Some might consider the room/building a bit dated, but it gives it a lot of character and history!
The location of the plugs: we couldn’t find plugs next to the side tables but there were other plugs in the room.

Czysta, nowoczesna łązienka. w apartamencie stylowe meble, skrzypiace podłogi - nam się to bardzo podobało, wysokie wnetrza i duże, wygodne łóżka.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Bahar, the owner of the property, shared with us her phone number upon arrival, and she was available to answer all our questions within minutes. The reception room was also open most of the time during the day, and you could reach out to the management easily by phone. Bahar also helped us arrange a wheelchair for my elderly father with a medical supply store nearby, which was very kind of her. Our room was cleaned every other day, and when we requested clean towels were provided and sheets were changed. It is a beautiful property with spacious apartments. We had everything that we needed in our 2-bedroom apartment. We felt very welcome, comfortable and at home. The location is also great, walking distance to the museum quarter.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026公寓的装修风格和维也纳非常匹配，有些陈旧和年代感，但也优雅有格调，我们参观的皇宫和歌剧院都是这个风格。我们三个人住的是两间卧室两间浴室的公寓，设施齐全，宽敞舒适。酒店有个小小的古老电梯，运转正常，厨房有冰箱微波炉和一些基本餐具，客厅卧室都有空调，冷气足够。员工非常热情友善，很好沟通，可以通过门厅的电话随时联系到她们。酒店旁边的道路是单行线，步行去环城大道的Volkstheater地铁站10分钟左右，我们的活动大部分在环城大道附近。回酒店也可以搭乘48A，3站直达。我们搭乘维也纳西站的火车去萨尔茨堡，在酒店门口坐48A公交，2站到 U6地铁线的Gumpendorferstraße站，换乘U6地铁往Floridsdorf方向，坐2站就直达Westbahnhof维也纳西站，非常方便。我们去美泉宫也是走这条线路转车。附近有餐厅和billa超市,bipa 药妆店，满足了我们对美食和购物的需求。
洗衣一次25欧，略贵，如果有自助洗衣机就更好了。

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Das geräumige Appartement befindet sich.in einen alten Wiener Haus und bietet einen sehr willkommenen Kontrast zu modernen seelenlosen Hotels. Es ist sowohl stilvoll als auch zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Bus- und Straßenbahn-Haltestellen liegen nahe am Haus, so dass alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar sind. Unsere Fenster gingen zu einem ruhigen Innenhof. Einne Aussicht gibt es in den engen Wiener Gassen ohnehin nicht.
Es gab nix zu meckern.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026We had a lovely stay in this convenient and beautiful building. Our two large rooms plus kitchenette were clean, bright and quiet. We loved the charm of the classic furniture. The kitchenette was small, but with stove top, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker, it met our needs for our three night stay. Wi-Fi worked well. It was great to be a few blocks away from multiple restaurants and just three blocks from the street car to the sites in the Old Town. The staff was very friendly, and the rooftop deck is a bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Hotel Apartment Rothensteiner is een prachtig, authentiek complex. De façade, de binnenkomst en de receptie zijn heel mooi ingericht. De kamer is comfortabel, met prettige bedden en goede airconditioning. Verwacht geen strakke, moderne kamer, maar een knusse en ouderwetse inrichting. Het hotel ligt in een hele mooie buurt, vol met leuke terrassen en restaurants. Ook is het op loopafstand van o.a. het Kunsthistorisches museum. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zouden het zeker aanraden voor andere gasten.
Enkele dingen zouden het verblijf nog ietsje prettiger maken: -Een bank in de self-service appartementen. Voor langer verblijf is het prettig om na een lange dag in de stad even uit te kunnen rusten op een bank, i.p.v. alleen op de harde stoelen die aanwezig waren in ons appartement. -Enkele basisingrediënten in de keuken zoals afwasmiddel, zout en thee.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Toto ubytovanie bola topka: škoda, že hotel nemá na Bookingu lepšie fotografie (viac konkrétnejších fotografií), lebo realita je ešte lepšia, ako tých pár obrázkov: dostali sme priestorovo veľkorysý apartmán s troma krásnymi spálňami, veľkou obývačkou, dvoma kuchyňami a dvoma kúpeľňami. Všetko čisté, funkčné, v pôsobivom starom štýle, kúpeľne a kuchyne vynovené. V každej miestnosti (!) klimatizácia. A televízor :-). Nádherné sú aj chodby a schodiská, cítite sa naozaj ako v starej Viedni. Perfektná poloha v centre, všade sme chodili pešo. Raňajky sa neposkytujú, ale blízko je Billa aj pekárne. V kuchyni je kávovať a kapsule grátis.
Jedinou nevýhodou bol veľmi slabý internet v našom kúte hotela (naopak, na chodbe pár krokov ďalej bol silný), ale to si človek v súčasnosti celkom ľahko vykompenzuje vlastnými dátami.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Obwohl das Hotel älteren Baujahrs ist, ist alles sehr gut gepflegt, frisch gestrichen und blitzblank. Schön ist, dass im Treppenhaus einige Gegenstände und Bilder die Geschichte des Hauses erzählen, zum Beispiel historische Eintrittskarten, die gerahmt neben dem Aufzug hängen. Die Küche ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, sogar mit einem richtigen Herd, nur das Küchenmesser könnte mal geschärft werden. Die Lage ist gut, in einer halben Stunde ist man zu Fuß mitten in der Innenstadt bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. U-Bahn-Stationen sind einmal die Straße entlang.

We stayed in a two-bedroom flat that exceeded our expectations—it was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms and a large living room. The AC was fantastic, with separate control panels in every room. The entire place was exceptionally clean, and it's a convenient 15-minute walk to the city center.
There were no deal-breakers, but a few areas could be improved. One of the beds was quite noisy, and one of the bedroom closets lacked a rail to hang clothes. Additionally, one of the showers didn't have a curtain, which caused water to splash everywhere.

walking to or from the underground station.. otherwise bus stop beside the house. TV in my room was old and small but I didn't spend much time in my room anyway

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026It was nice that there was roof terrace, even when I didnt use it. A/C worked fine. There was even microwave and stove, even when I didnt use them. Room was quite big. For me everything worked fine and I had great time in Vienna. There was 800 metres walk to Volkstheater metro station.
Everything was fine for me.

El apartamento conserva muy bien en todas sus zonas comunes esa apariencia señorial de años atrás que le dan un gran encanto. El personal fue muy atento en todo momento. El primer día nos dimos cuenta de que no funcionaba el tostador, y en cuanto se lo dijimos nos lo sustituyeron por otro. En resumen: una estancia muy confortable.
Personalmente para mí gusto, almohadas un poco finas. Solo eso.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Nagy belmagasságú tágas és kényelmes szobák. A bútorok is a régi polgári időket idézték, ugyanakkor minden kényelemmel felszerelt (TV, Wifi). A fürdő tágas, modern és tiszta. A lépcsőház dekorációja sokat mesél a régi időkről - nagyon színvonalas és csöndes is!
A fürdő zuhanyzójából kifolyt a víz. ((épített hatalmas walk-in zuhanyzó és nincs küszöb, ami megállította volna a vizet).

Nos dejaron entrar antes y al comentarle si podíamos dejar las maletas en recepción nos dijo que podíamos estar en la habitación hasta salir hacia el aeropuerto. Un 10. Muy buena predisposición para solucionar lo que se le planteaba.
Debería tener un extractor en la cocinita. Tiene únicamente una salida de humos. No fue ningún inconveniente, pero mejor con extractor.

We had a bath in our room but the short hose didn't make it ideal for showers. Toaster timer didn't work, we ended up burning lots of bread. The TV only had a handful of blurry channels. The TV was so old that we couldn't even plug in a USB. This is quite important for evenings you want to stay in. A bit dusty in places.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, bardzo dużo miejsca w apartamencie. Parkiety trochę trzeszczały ale biorąc pod uwagę stylowy wystrój wnętrz, nasuwało to przemyślenia dotyczące dawnych użytkowników obiektu. Jestem bardzo zadowolony, nie spodziewałem się takiej przestrzeni.
Nie mam nic, o czym warto byłoby pisać.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem netten Apartment, in dem sich alles befand, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage war perfekt für mich und alles war sehr sauber.
Es hat alles sehr gut gepasst.

רצפת העץ קצת חורקת במקומות מסויימים אז בלילה השתדלנו לא להתהלך בחדר כדי לא להעיר את הילדים שישנו בחדר הסמוך. היה נחמד אם היה מעמד לייבוש כלים.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Very pleasant communication. Easy to find and check in. Located between two lively areas but quiet location and close to a grocery shop and bakeries. We like to walk and found it an easy walk into the centre/museums. Very clean and enough things in the kitchenette for us to have breakfast and a basic meal when needed. Bathrooms very clean and one seemed very newly refurbished. Plenty of hot water.
The only thing that would have made a positive difference would have been a lamp and bedside table in the second bedroom. Main bedroom was very well appointed.
