Margaritaville Resort Orlando with H2O Waterpark

Check in was great, the resort is clean, like when there is coffee in the lobby, we only we able to access cold water. The drink upon arrival was much appreciated.

The bed in our room was too high, very difficult to get in and out of the bed. I asked for a step stool so I could reach the bed without having to roll on to it. It never arrived and I wasn't advised if or when it would come. We were two adults in the room with only one chair, I asked for another chair. It never arrived; I was told the next day when I asked for the second time that there were no other chairs available to be brought to our room. The smell in the lobby was a strong perfume smell that became irritating while waiting for our group to meet up..

So pretty so clean everyone was so nice and welcoming. I had an issue in the bathroom and it was fixed right away.

We had a really really lovely stay. Really great room, very comfortable bed, nicely decorated and a good view of the quiet pool from the balcony. The grounds were massive and the pools were lovely. Yummy free margarita and great to have free parking. Nearby to some restaurants which was handy. The whole place was decorated really nicely and had a relaxing vibe. I thought it was very good value for the price.

Shower took forever to heat up - it wasn’t really an issue but just a bit of a faff. The margaritas were delicious but very expensive - we paid $75 for 3 margaritas and a Diet Coke. The resort was incredibly quiet when we were there (early September) - not sure if that’s always how it is but it was lacking some atmosphere and felt very empty as it was so large. About a 30 min drive to the universal parks (with a little bit of traffic) - I think the Disney parks are closer. Very annoying that they try to convince you to join their time share kind of thing - they offer $150 to spend there if you listen to a 90 min presentation! Despite all this however it was genuinely such a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend.

Vaccination Club at the entrance very pushy. H20 water park was a massive let down. You have to rent thin towels for $5 and no food or drink allowed in. Staff were extremely uninterested and rude. More importantly one of our party was sent down a water slide when another man was still riding and crashed into them. No organisation or respect for safety.

House keeping was great and fast.

Everything closed so early. There were no activities. Nothing to do after the sun went down. Very limited on food options. Older resort. The restaurants walking distance all closed early too. Felt like a bare minimum ’resort’. Not romantic what so ever. Way too many cabanas that are crazy expensive and never get used. Staff wasn’t very friendly or sociable. Definitely more of a corporate vibe or older couples.

I was surprised that there was no life guard at the pool. Also, no medical staff seems to be available on the property. My son fell and busted his lip open. Blood everywhere. Nobody came to help even when my friend went to the reception to ask. They only gave us a list of nearby doctors. Very disappointing.

Upgraded me and gave me a free cabana for a day when my room wasn’t ready on time

My rooms floor was dirty with the last persons hair still around the room, blood on my comforter, when I asked for new linens I had to call TWICE, and then go down to the front desk… then 15 minutes later someone brought me sheets and linens which I put on my bed myself. Then I was harassed on the street to join the “vacation club” - promised 200$ and a week free stay if I just watched a 90 minute video, mind you I’m with my toddler and continued to insist I cannot because I’m with my toddler - and then when I finally agreed, after 30 minutes and finding out my s/o was at home and not with me that they couldn’t fulfill the presentation and things I was promised. I was completely mislead, after being HARASSED to come watch this video to in turn receive gifts. Also, the man who was trying to sell me the “vacation club” whatever it was asked me if milk came out of both of my breasts while I was trying to breast feed my daughter who was throwing a tantrum while they were all waiting to see if they could even continue the presentation. They had us just sitting there wasting our vacation time. At first we had a good rapport but that comment was odd. I will never go back to margaritaville

We lost wifi for like 4hrs the room was not clean. They had to reclean still didn't change the sheets they offered to move us to a regular room when we paid for a suite and still have not got my deposit all around bad last year was good. I dont know why it went downhill 😕

La décoration de l'hôtel est très réussie et celle des chambres aussi, le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Le complexe est bien entretenu, il y a pas mal de commerces autour de l'hôtel. On peut y passer plusieurs jours sans s'ennuyer.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas au format buffet, c'est un petit-déjeuner à emporter vraiment limite, une boisson et un accompagnement dans une liste de choix très limitée et c'est du réchauffé avec une qualité qui laisse à désirer, très grosse déception sur ce point. Je déconseille fortement de prendre la formule avec petit-déjeuner. Les prix pratiqués par la boutique de l'hôtel sont très très élevés. Il y a les chambres avec vue sur piscine qui semblent être agréables et les chambres vue sur complexe où il n'y a aucune vue en fait. Les photos des chambres avec "Vue sur complexe" sur booking sont trompeuses. A notre arrivée, nous étions au rez-de-chaussée avec une superbe camionnette garée devant notre fenêtre, après m'être plaint, une autre chambre quelques étages au dessus nous a été attribuée. Une chambre qui donne sur les énormes groupes climatiseurs de l'hôtel extrêmement bruyants. En parlant de climatisation, celle de notre chambre était incontrôlable, il a fallu 4 interventions de 4 techniciens différents pour résoudre le problème. Le ménage n'est pas bien fait, j'ai trouvé au sol des déchets des précédents occupants. Si vous êtes de petite taille, vous galérerez à monter sur les lits, ils sont si hauts ! A la piscine, chacun fait ce qu'il veut, personne pour surveiller. Des déchets qui flottent, des gens jouent à la balle ou au frisbee sur toute la longueur de la piscine sans se soucier des enfants ou des autres personnes qui nagent. Par contre, on ne vous laissera pas rentrer avec de la nourriture. Le waterpark inclus est plutôt moyen, bassin à vagues tout petit; beaucoup de queue pour les toboggans, pour ceux qui sont ouverts. Beaucoup de monde. Et ce n'est que 2 tickets compris par chambre.

Schoon en groot resort met veel keuze uit zwembaden. De gratis toegang tot H20 waterpark maakt het voor gezinnen met kinderen een fantastische plek om te verblijven.

Die große Anlage war wunderschön und sehr sauber mit direkt angrenzenden Wasserpark.

Ich hätte mir ein Frühstücksbuffet gewünscht wie auch angegeben war allerdings durfte man sich nur ein Sandwich und einen Kaffee aussuchen.Aber das Sandwich war zumindest sehr lecker und man ist davon satt geworden.

Was rudely awaken @ 8am to the loud & constant sound of a yard blower which you were using on the pool deck outside my suite. this went on for almost an hour so We weren't able to go back to sleep. We paid extra for a late checkout so we could sleep in on the last day of our vacation. I guess this resort hasn't heard of battery powered yard blowers. I have one, that I use, so I don't disturb my neighbors. Why don't you get them so you don't disturb your guest who pay a lot to sleep in peace or do you do this on purpose so everyone is awaken early so they'll vacate their rooms early. 20 of us get together every year for a staycation, this is the first resort we have ever had this issue, so if this is how you treat your guest we won't be back Additionally Housekeeping came to our room at 9:00 on Saturday, we asked them to come back in a half-hour since we would be gone. They never came back. When we returned, around 4 we called the front desk and told them we needed the room serviced. They sent someone up who spoke no English and had to call someone, hand me the phone so I could tell the interpreter on the other end that we needed towels and trash removed which is what we told the front desk to begin with. Why is it my problem and inconvenience that the resort staff isn't bi-lingual

Decor of the hotel internally was pretty, fresh & clean. The location was perfect. Near the airport without the noise. There are plenty of food vendors nearby.

The resort is beautiful. Staff is very staff is very informative and kind. The rooms were impeccable very clean, organized and smell good. Overall my stay at the resort was exceptional and I will definitely be returning to the same resort. Me and my friend had so much fun.

There is really nothing that I can say that I didn’t like about the resort. The accessibility was everything. Whether you stayed on site and enjoy the amenities or you went in walking distance to there walk that had restaurants and entertainment also including the waterpark, which was within walking distance. Everything was great.

Very good location and good sized rooms

Room set up for two people not the 4 we paid for. Requested two more waters, two more towels, two more cups just the basics and took two or our three days to sort. Also booking.com advise it includes breakfast it actually includes a bacon roll and a drink. Absolute joke the hotel say that booking.com should make it clear as its a regular problem. The hotel credited us $150 to use for three days and infact breakfast (normal meals) and 1 drink each cost $110 plus a tip of 20% so we actually had enough for one day. Also the pool had loads of plastic cups floating around

I traveled with my family of 4 When I checked in I was told that for breakfast I have only $45 to spend for the whole family and I have to pay any extra than that and also there was only 4 choices if I choose anything other than those I have to pay from my pocket. I felt the breakfast option wasn’t clear during booking.

Didn’t give us our room until an hour after check-in time, pack and play that we requested wasn’t ready in the room and A/C of the room was broken and we had techs coming in and out for two days and nothing was resolved. With enough complaining they were able to magically find a room for us that they said was “comparable” but then it didn’t have enough beds to sleep my family and they had to bring us two roll out beds.

Customer Service desk, is slow. I checked on online also got in at 1:30 was informed room wasn't ready, my issue was they stated they would call and they never did. At 4:30 I came back and the room had been ready. Checking in and out waited around 20 min each time. Main bar needs another bartender it took over 20 min to get a drink. I do not like that they automatically charge you 20% gratuities for food or drinks. Bar tender at pool bar, Carlos was rude and service was slow. I should not have to tip 20% unless service is deserved. By automatically tipping customers are not getting good service. We do want to thank one of the bartenders Susan, she was great.

The hotel is beautiful, pools are nice and big, foam party was a big hit! We also enjoyed the water park that comes with the hotel stay. The restaurant, Euphoria and Salty Rim had good food and service. Provisions also had great breakfast options and coffee.

The room was outdated. Although nice, the A/C had a leak that soaked all the floors and the techs had to come twice to vacuum the water off the floor and A/C unit. This happened on the two nights we were there so it was not convenient for us. The front desk did provide a late check out due to inconvenience. Also, wish they had smart tvs or at the very least a Roku to be able to stream apps. Especially for the kids to wind down at the end of a long day. Housekeeping also just makes the beds, takes out the trash and provides towels. We had some coffee spill on the tray and that was not cleaned (would’ve done it myself but didn’t want to ruin the towels) and they didn’t even replace the coffee pods or provide clean cups.

We loved everything about our stay! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the location was great, and the service and cleanliness were excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Pool was incredible! Love the waitress service by the pool for food and drinks! Our room was big! Breakfast was good, but real eggs would be better.

I didn't like that we couldn't bring our own drinks into the pool area, meaning that my husband drinks spiked Arnold palmer and you don't have that on the menu. Its all he drinks, so that sucked he couldn't drink at the pool, but I could. I think if you don't offer it, it should be able to be brought in. We kept having to step outside the pool area in order to have a drink together. That was an inconvenience and a disappointment.

Rating excellent due to our experience with the staff overall and especially Julian from the Euphoria restaurant. A true professional! Dennis H. provided some excellent music, too. Very talented. Sabrina behind the bar was new and did a wonderful job on the drinks! We were disappointed that pool -side facilities closed so early but Euphoria was a treat well into the evening. Truthfully this stay would have been disappointing had it not been for Euphoria. Great job by Natalie and her crew!

My family and I stayed here before our cruise and all I can say is wow! This resort is beautiful. We only stayed one night, so I can only give a limited review, but in one day, this resort really impressed me. From the moment you arrive, the staff is friendly and accommodating; they greet you with a drink. The lobby looks and smells amazing, and the property is huge, so the loading and unloading area is nice. The pools are huge and clean. There are plenty of areas to lay out or sit and have a drink. They had many activities and did a great job keeping you informed of what was happening. They have an on-site restaurant, but we didn't try it. The rooms were very clean and updated; the decor makes you feel like you're on an island, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The property is large, but they have nice walking trails. They are within walking distance of a very nice retail area with restaurants and shops; this area also had live music, a car show, and areas to just relax. The property has its own massive water park, but due to weather, we didn't get to try it out. Overall, this property was well worth my money, and I will return for a mini-vacation and to just enjoy the property.

This was my first time staying at Margaritaville, and I absolutely loved it. The rooms were beautiful, and the grand entrance made an amazing first impression. What stood out the most, though, was the staff they were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable The Lounge Bar was by far my favorite spot. From the live entertainment to the amazing drinks, everything was top-notch. Julian provided some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. He was attentive, personable, and truly exceptional at his job. In fact, because of the outstanding experience, I came back the following week and visited again in April The drinks were second to none, and Julian’s service made every visit memorable.If you’re staying at Margaritaville, I highly recommend stopping by the Lounge Bar you won’t be disappointed!!!

We stayed at a 3 bedroom cottage closed to the hotel. A fully equipped house, beds are comfortable, plenty of room and very updated. The customer service at hotel was excellent (Jacob and Val were amazing) The pools , food , H2O water park are great.. There are plenty of restaurants around and lots to do. If you want to relax or be busy with activities this is the place for you. Can’t wait to go back. I do recommend that if you want to be closer to the hotel you book the cottages , the villas are farther from the hotel and amenities. Calling the hotel to make the reservation is best.

We had an incredible stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. The resort is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of activities. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided outstanding customer service. The pools, restaurants, and overall atmosphere were fantastic, and the location is perfect with easy access to nearby attractions. Our family created wonderful memories here, and everything exceeded our expectations.

The only downside was that the H2O Water Park is not located inside the hotel itself. It is a separate public water park across from the resort, so it can become quite crowded, especially during peak hours. It would have been even better if hotel guests had a more exclusive experience or dedicated access. Aside from that, everything about our stay was excellent.

I visited Margaritaville Mango Moon on July 18, and I had an outstanding experience. I went to the bar to order a few drinks, and the bartender greeted us with genuine kindness and a warm smile. After we found a table, she gladly brought our drinks over to us without us even having to ask. We were truly impressed by her exceptional customer service, so I asked for her name. With a big smile and a wonderful attitude, she said, "Janitza." She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her friendly personality made our visit even more enjoyable. I wish every bartender provided the same level of service and hospitality. Thank you, Janitza, for making our experience so memorable!
