Reviewed Sep 18, 2026I was made very welcome with a lovely Moroccan tea and very polite, helpful staff. The beds were confortable and location quiet and away from the madness of midelt itself
My only negative would be that the air con remote was missing with no explanation. I borrowed from a fellow traveller only to find that mine was draining vast quantities of water into the room. Had I been told it was faulty I would probably have requested another room as this was in 40 degree heat

Reviewed May 18, 2026L’accueil de la part du personnel qui était à l’écoute. Il y avait toujours du thé, des biscuits, des cacahuètes à disposition dans la salle de repos de la réception. Le fait d’être en dehors de la ville était un point positif, car il n’y avait pas de nuisances sonores. Le matin le fait d’être face au soleil levant qui éclairait la chambre était un plus pour bien commencer la journée. Un grand parking à disposition. La qualité de la literie et la propreté des chambres.

Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen, doch das war uns klar bei der Buchung. Für 1 Nacht ok. Zimmer sind sauber doch sehr einfach. Bei dem Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten.

The staff are great, our triple room had ample space, plenty of hot water, delicious tea & snacks on arrival & amazing quality of food. The tajines are large enough for two people. We had far too much food to eat for the two of us & the cost was very reasonable. Breakfast was pretty standard, but still quite fine. Very good value for the cost.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Petit déjeuner correct, le personnel est gentil, très dévoué et à l'écoute. la chambre était calme et spacieuse . Le parking est sans souci . Le repas du soir était bon et copieux. Les conseils de tourisme étaient avisés.
Le gite était pour une nuit, aucun reproche sauf un petit manque de charme, après 2 bons Riad. * Mais j'y retournerai pour des circonstances identiques.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Très bel emplacement pour cet hébergement, idéalement situé sur la route entre Fès et Merzouga. La vue est magnifique et l’établissement est propre, bien entretenu. L’accueil est attentionné. Mention spéciale pour le dîner : excellent, copieux et à un tarif plus raisonnable que dans de nombreuses guesthouses plus au sud. Le petit-déjeuner est également très généreux. Une très bonne étape que je recommande sans hésiter.
Seul petit bémol : la salle d’eau est un peu exiguë et ne dispose pas de tapis de bain. Les lits doubles sont un peu étroits, avec des draps synthétiques.

Les murs sont en cartons, le déjeuner pauvre et l’éclairage dans les chambres avec une seule ampoule au plafond qui est très forte et très blanche.

The gite is located on a hill just outside Midelt and has beautiful view on the farmlands surrounding. A good place to stay if you're looking for a place midway of the route Merzouga<>Fez
We had a 4-persom bedroom. With 2 single beds and 1 double bed. The double bed was 140cm width, we managed but good to know. The waterpressure from the shower was nice and with warm water. However you have to hold the shower head while showering and since there is no shower curtain or anything, the whole bathroom gets wet.

Nous avons échangés ensemble et elle nous a parlé de sa ville (tradition, spécialités, histoire). Le petit déjeuné était parfait, copieux et divers! Nous avions le choix pour le repas du soir (tout est fait maison) et ce fût un régale! Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité! Petit conseil : Attention au réseau internet qui ne passe pas forcement tout le temps. Nous avons dû nous arrêter dans un café pour enregistré le trajet GPS pour trouver le gîte.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Meest gastvriendelijke personen van Marokko, prachtige locatie op een heuvel met uitzicht op de Atlas en de stad Midelt. Super diner en ontbijt. Fijn ontvangst met thee, koekjes en nootjes. Schoonste accommodatie die we gehad hebben op onze rondreis. Heerlijke bedden.
Kamers zijn wat sober zoals op de foto's, maar dat weet je vantevoren, want het komt overeen met de foto's. De "woonkamer" daarentegen is erg gezellig met een haard.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026El sitio está espectacularmente limpio, se construyó hace 3 años así que está todo nuevo. El personal es muy amable, siempre pendiente de nosotros. Nos encendieron el fuego en la chimenea al llegar y nos ofrecieron un té. Luego a petición nuestra nos prepararon un tallín de pollo riquísimo y enorme para los tres que éramos, nos invitaron a una sopa típica y al postre,todo ello por 200 dh los tres. La habitación era muy espaciosa con todas las comodidades. Las camas muy cómodas. Paramos en nuestro camino al desierto desde Fez y fue todo un acierto.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Spent the night here during our trip from Cassablanca to Merzouga. Nice place for a stay to break up the drive. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are simple but spacious. Beds are incredibly hard though. I'm not picky with beds but this one made me wake up a couple of times during the night trying to find a comfortable position. The room can be heated with the airconditioner and has plenty of blankets so as not to get cold during the night. The shower only had hot water for a few minutes and then turned cold. Communication with the staff was sometimes a bit of a challenge due to language barriers, but with the help of translator all was fine. Breakfast was included and lovely. Loved the fresh orange juice. Dinner could be prepared for 120 Dirham for a 2 people Tajine, which we ended up not making use of because it would have been a bit challenging for the kids to eat and therefore drove into Midelt instead, which is just 10 minutes away by car. All in all a decent experience.

It was above the town with a great view and even though we arrived late afternoon they were still able to cook us a delicious dinner even accommodating our 2 small children. The room was large and spacious with a good hot shower. Thank you !

Im Winter kann es trotz Heizung etwas kühl werden – nichts Dramatisches, es sind aber ausreichend Decken vorhanden.

Reviewed Nov 1, 2025Superfreundliche Damen, die sehr hilfsbereit und auskunftbereit waren. Wir haben viele Informationen erhalten. Sehr ruhige und exponierte Lage mit tollem Rundumblick. Neu eingerichtetes Zimmer. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren wirklich sehr gut.
Nicht viel: TV ohne Antennenkabel, sehr helle Deckenleuchte mit dem 3-Kabel-Design, Duschvorhang schloss die Toilette mit ein (also wurde Toilettendeckel beim Duschen nass). Uns hat es nicht gestört. Ein Hinweisschild hätte das Finden der Gite evtl. erleichtert, aber es ging auch so (mit etwas Denken).

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They truly went the extra mile and even sent us off with a thoughtful gift and snacks for the road. Our room was spacious, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. If we needed anything additional, all we had to do was ask and they would do their best to accommodate! Overall, it was such a calming and enjoyable experience—I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025The location and view alone is worth staying here! We caught uninterrupted views of both the sunset and sunrise on camera! On top of this, Hafid was an exceptional host! He went way beyond the call of duty... he was so helpful loading in (& out) ...he even took us to town in his car for dinner & drinks. He and Mustafa were very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was sensational. We loved every moment of our stay. Highly recommended... don't think twice... book it!

The building is fairly new and they are still in the process of landscaping the terraces etc but the interior and rooms are excellent and spotlessly clean. We chose this property for it's out of town location and good parking for our motorbikes and the property has a wonderful view across Midelt in one direction and the snow capped High Atlas Mountains in the other.
