Reviewed Sep 6, 2026We had a wonderful stay at Loen Apartments. The location is excellent, making it a perfect base for exploring Loen and the beautiful surrounding area. Everything we needed was within easy reach, while the setting itself was peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery. The apartment was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. Overall, Loen Apartments is a great choice for anyone visiting the area. Excellent location, outstanding cleanliness, and a comfortable stay.
It would be great if the facility/building had a washer and dryer.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The hotel has a very convenient location, with a lovely little river running behind the property. The room was modern and fairly new, the staff were excellent, and the kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils. Parking was also very convenient.
The main drawbacks were the lighting and the hallway. There were no ceiling lights in either the bedroom or the living room. The living room had only one floor lamp, so the lighting was seriously inadequate, especially in the evening. The enclosed hallway also had a noticeable unpleasant smell whenever we walked through it. It would also be helpful to have a full-length mirror in the room for checking outfits. The river is quite loud at night, so it is necessary to keep the windows closed while sleeping.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, tolle Lage und sie war super sauber bei der Anreise, das ist nun wirklich mal sehr schön. Lage ist auch gut für die Ausflüge in die Region. Code wurde spät zugesendet, aber die nette Dame des Spielelands für Kinder gab uns den Tipp im Hotel Alexandria nachzufragen, dort konnte der Hotelier uns die Auskunft geben, dass es erst kurz vorher zugesendet wird.
Nichts.

التلفاز يفضل يكون ذكي، كان التلفاز مبدئي يقتصر على قنوات فقط. مدخل الشقه يحتاج إلى مرشد ساعدتني عامله تعمل في مكان مثل الحضانه في ايجاد باب الشقه.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Buena ubicación para conocer en dos días la zona de Loen con su fiordo, la subida en teleférico y poder hacer alguna ruta de senderismo por las montañas que rodean el fiordo y la visita al lago glaciar de Loden y su lengua del glaciar. Todo bien cuidado y su jardín
No había una luz sobre la mesa del salón y carece de cargador eléctrico para coches aunque tienes uno a 500 metros en el supermercado de la cadena Joker y tienes que esperar a que se cargue aunque puedes hacer mientras la compra

The living area was smelling like food/curry from the moment we opened the door. Better cleaning of the oven might help to get rid of it. And the fact that there’s no hairdryer available. Almost a most.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Nice location in Loen, parking out front. Beds were comfortable. Easy access with code.
To note the apartment is on the main Loen road, so can be noisy at night if bedroom window is open, but mostly ok if one keeps window closed. Kitchen is fairly sparsely kitted....eg no oven mitt, no salad bowl etc. There is also no mop/vacuum if you drop something, and no extra bin bags (bring your own). Bizarrely there is a fridge, but no freezer section. The bathroom is annoying - the floor around the shower drain is not sloped correctly, so when you shower the water runs around the drain and the whole bathroom floods. Suggest bringing extra towels with you to mop up each time. The lighting in the bedroom is feeble - only two bedside lamps (strangely there is a wall light switch and place in the ceiling for a light fitting but that was clearly never fitted). It does feel like this apartment was furnished quickly and with limited thought to living comfort. Compared to other apartments/houses we've stayed in in Norway, this was below par in living comfort. But imagine ok for a one night/short stay given Loen location.

The property had not been prepared properly. There was no running water when we arrived, I had to wait for maintenance to sort it. The 2nd day a water leak alarm went off and could not be silenced, I had to wait in again for maintenance. There was no bowl or plug for the kitchen sink so I had to do washing up under a running tap and there were no baking trays or heat proof dishes for use in the oven so I couldn't use it. The road In front of the apartment is quite noisy. If the apartment was more reasonably priced these irritations might have been overlooked but it was expensive compared with other properties we stayed at in Norway.

Camas y sillón incómodos. Los colchones de las camas eran colchonetas duras. En el baño se salía el agua por abajo en la ducha, bastante incómodo para ducharme y no había toalla para poder secar el agua y tampoco fregona. Olía muy fuerte en el edificio y bastante mal.

Goede locatie voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Hou er wel rekening mee dat je aan een drukke doorgaande weg zit en tegenover de camping.
