Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The Host MQ was excellent - good communication, super helpful, quick to reply to messages. The place was well signed and easy to find - access details shared before arrival were simple and accurate making easy access. The apartment was very clean, had what we needed for a 6 night stay and was close to good amenities for food and shopping. The pool was covered the night we arrived (due to weather) but as soon as we made an enquiry it was opened. We will happily return here

There wasn't a grab handle in the shower. We are old and our mobility is impaired. We should have enquired beforehand whether they are disability friendly. There are only a few steps, railings would have made it much easier for us.

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026The private check in was really nice - I was tired my flight and it was really easy & smooth to get in and get the room keys. The wifi worked well, there was hot water, the bed was comfy and the room was clean. I only stayed one night (just passing through Joburg) so I didn't get to use the pool or anything but it was a lovely stay for the night, and convenient location. There was good parking too.
It was all good, maybe there could have been more than 2 pillows on the bed but otherwise it was perfect!!

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026The property was central to the area we were visiting including grocery shopping areas. It was as safe as we expected. The host was very considerate of our needs and acted accordingly. The parking / garden areas were well kept.
Counter top working space is a little restrictive. The net curtaining to the entrance could do with a wash or replacement! Pool could have been kept cleaner with the pool pump running more regularly during the day due to leaves falling or blowing into the pool.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026The room was impeccable. I really loved the layout of the little kitchenette in the room. The bathroom was very impressive with a large tub and shower. The look was very modern and the entire place was immaculate. The outside pool area was beautiful, clean and inviting. The area was quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend a stay here. 10 out of 10 !

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025Very nice, clean and cozy studio, with everything needed for a short stay. Very close to the airport. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had to extend our stay in Joburg but this one was already booked for the following day, so we booked the other apartment which was also very nice. There is a good cafe just across the street. We won’t hesitate to book again when we’re back in Joburg.

We didn’t have hot water, no fault of the owner and he tried for over 2 hours to get it fixed.

Honestly the couch i suggest they must get a leather couch so that it can be clean easily..
