Reviewed Sep 19, 2026We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbour. The tide came in right under our balcony. Loved sitting out watching the boats, sipping a glass of wine. Amazing breakfast with more choices than you could ever imagine. Beds were very comfortable.
Wished we could have stayed longer.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026A great hotel right in the heart of town. The rooms are very cozy, stylish, and offer fantastic views. The beds are waaaay too soft - a downside for me, though some might see it as a plus. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge selection that even caters well to various allergies.
The only real drawback was the thin walls. You could easily hear the neighbors.

Guest services not that helpful with a couple of requests. Very close to action in harbour and would recommend kayak trip. Rooms very small. Small point- rooms need to closed by electronic key; they dont passively close.

Etwas wenig Platz, vor allem zwischen dem Fussende des Bettes und der Wand (vor allem weil noch ein Fernseher an der Wand hängt) Auch wenn Nachhaltigkeit etwas gutes ist, die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher sollten mal ersetzt werden, da sie bereits Flecken haben die nicht mehr weggehen Etwas ringhörig, man hört Aktivitäten im Gang recht gut Leider keine kostenlose Parkplätze für Hotelgäste

Shame there wasn’t a kettle in the room; there was hot water available in the lobby but for the price of the room it would have been nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee. Our room was a bit poky and overlooked the car park, luckily there wasn’t too much coming and going (particularly as it is a car park for 2 hotels). There was a bit of noise from bottles being disposed of by one of the hotels at 11pm which was unnecessary.

It wasn't always clear what was included, and what you had to pay extra for (e.g. the coffee and juice machines in the lobby, whether there was a restaurant service available). There was also a folk on a shelf in my room, presumably from the last occupant.

En la reserva de la habituación te muestran una foto con vistas al fiordo, en realidad te toca habitación de primera planta con vistas al parking. Es engañoso, hubiera preferido pagar más por una habitación mejor de haberlo sabido. Hotel un poco ya ‘’gastado’.

Charged for parking. EV chargers were in high demand. When you were done with them there were no empty parking spaces so you could let someone else use the chargers. Place was a little rustic.

La personne a l’accueil avait des AirPod sur les Oreilles qui fait qu’elle ne me voyait pas et ne m’entendait pas … elle était plus occupée à flâner derrière le bar qu’à bien vouloir s’occuper de moi. Je demande un cocktail sur la carte qui n’existe visiblement pas Je demande le dîner qui est un buffet, j’y suis pour 20h alors que ça ferme à 21h, les plats qui sont censés être chauds sont froids et pas de micro onde. Au petit déjeuner, je signale à la personne de l’accueil qu il n’y a plus de nutella, 20 minutes plus tard ça sera la personne qui fait la salle qui me Le donnera après lui avoir demandé.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Fenomenalny pan na śniadaniu, który opowiada o miejscach wartych zwiedzenia na Lofotach. Pozdrawiam! Obfite, różnorodne śniadania, balkony do wybranych pokoi, wygodne łóżka! Całodobowa recepcja. Miła obsługa jak zawsze!
Jestem stałym klientem Scandic i najdroższy pokój Superior jest najmniejszy powierzchniowo w jakim spałem i nie różni się niczym od standardowego pokoju na innych obiektach, jednak cena pobytu w sierpniu zwala z nóg, parking przy obiekcie to koszt 25NOK za h przez 24h co zniechęca do pobytu. Parking winien być w cenie pobytu.

Struttura vecchia che “finge” di essere stata ristrutturata. Ancora con la poco igienica moquette (per altro sporca) sia in camera e nel corridoio di accesso al piano secondo. Abbiamo trovato capelli sia sulla testata del letto che sulle lenzuola (macchiate…). Odore di stantio in camera dovuto, penso, alla moquette stessa. Dopo anni e anni di onorato servizio, sarebbe il caso di apportare qualche modifica sostanziale e non marginale. Soprattutto se si intendono ma tenere determinati prezzi.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026This was my first stop in Lofoten and it did not disappoint! The facilities were perfectly located and you could easily walk from the hotel to anywhere in Svolvaer. The room was very cozy, decorated nicely and the balcony was a great bonus. It was easy to find peace here. Honestly, the only distraction came from the gorgeous pink clouds during sunset. Stunning!
