I personally like the location, peaceful as it's away from the downtown area. There's a lovely view of the mountains if you choose the front room.The beds are comfortable, with incorporated bathroom.This stately house has a covered eating area just in front with a garden. Jimmy is friendly and helpful, and his mother is a delight.

It would be nice to have a reading lamp, and also a big jug of drinking water for guests, but they do have bottled water on hand if you ask.

Quiet and comfortable and at a walking distance from the marketplace. The staff was helpful and attentive to my needs.

Nhà của anh Jimmy rất dễ thương với sân và nhiều cây ăn quả. Jimmy giúp đỡ nhóm mình rất nhiều, từ làm permit đến đặt taxi và tìm lái xe để đi Nubra và Pangong, thậm chí còn lái xe vào trung tâm đón khi một bạn trong nhóm bị say độ cao cần về nghỉ. Phòng ốc sạch sẽ sáng sủa và thoải mái, rất đáng để quay lại.

The host Jimmy is lovely - not only did he take care of his guests but also helped us with the permits and finding transportation for our trip. When one of us was sick at the market he personally went to give her a ride back for resting. The homestay has a nice outdoor dining area under the apple and plum trees, whose fruits are free to enjoy. Rooms are clean and bright.

Jimmys Guesthouse liegt zu Fuß eine Viertelstunde vom Zentrum entfernt, wir haben die ruhige Lage mit Garten, Terrasse und Blick auf die Berge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir zwischen unseren Touren immer wieder für ein paar Nächte zu Jimmy zurückgekehrt sind. Gepäckaufbewahrung während unserer Treckingtouren war kein Problem. Als mein Freund krank war, hat Jimmy ihn sofort zur Ambulanz gefahren und sich persönlich darum gekümmert, dass er schnell behandelt wurde und schließlich auch noch die Medikamente für ihn besorgt!

Manche Betten sind ein bisschen hart, was in Ladakh normal ist. Wir konnten dann eine dünne Schaumstoffmatratze darüber legen, damit war es kein Problem.

My wife and I stayed at Jimmy’s Homestay from 20th to 22nd July, and our experience was truly memorable. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from Leh market and downtown eateries, with Shanti Stupa only about 5 km away. It’s very convenient yet peaceful. The property itself is beautifully maintained, surrounded by apple trees and plenty of greenery that create a calm and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean with very hygienic washrooms. Everything is kept in excellent condition. What makes this place stand out, however, is the warmth of the people. The owner, Jigemet, is a very humble and gracious host. His family, who live on the same property, made us feel welcome and added to the homely atmosphere. The staff and cooks were equally friendly and attentive, making our stay all the more enjoyable. We opted for both breakfast and dinner during our stay, and I must say the food was exceptional – delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. Overall, Jimmy’s Homestay offers not just a comfortable stay but also a heartfelt experience that stays with you. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Leh. Keep up the great work, and wishing the entire team continued success!

The rooms are new clean and with big bathrooms. The sheets are clean and fresh towels. There is a vegetable garden and plants and trees. Very quiet at night, u will have a good sleep.

Jimmy is a very cordial and welcoming host. That was the best part of the stay. I went with my 2yrs kid and he provided all the support i wud need . It sas heart warming
