It’s location and surroundings, the mountains, nature.

The owner was very welcoming and friendly. It was exceptionally well equipped for cooking and eating, and the views were stupendous. It was wonderful to sit on the front verandah and enjoy the feel of the mountains.

Karin is an exceptional host. There are extraordinary views of the valley from the apartment. The place is totally immaculate and very well located in the village.

What a wonderful stay. The location was great, the views from the garden were beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Karin was a great host. Could not ask for better!

Thoughtfully-equipped facilities - for example, walking poles, umbrellas, a ski locker with boot-drying heaters near the station + well-equipped kitchenette (oven + induction hob, Nespresso machine etc.) and good size dining area. Spotlessly clean. Very nice host who communicated efficiently and pleasantly with us both before our arrival (via Booking.com messaging) and during our stay. Good location not too far from the Coop for grocery shopping. Fantastic view of the Lauterbrunnen valley from front the garden.

If the kitchen had been a bit bigger a microwave oven would have been useful, for those quick, lazy meals! The location is great, but the chalet is down a steep hill from the town centre, so if you have mobility issues, then the walk back up the hill might prove difficult.

Nous aurions aimé qu’il soit mentionné dans l’annonce que le chalet était plus bas dans la montagne. Donc à chaque fois qu’on en sort il faut monter plusieurs côtes assez à pic pour aller au train. Pour les personnes âgées ou avec des problèmes de genou, c’est loin d’être l’idéal. Et au départ il faut remonter ces côtes avec les valises !

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The mountain views are amazing! It was impeccably clean, very well organized, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The attention to detail really made a difference. Highly recommended!

Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, pans, pots, etc. The views are amazing and probably one of our favorite lodging in all of Europe! Host was helpful and worked with us to ensure a good stay.

Super apartment/chalet with excellent facilities in a great location - and Karin was a very helpful and thoughtful hostess who went out of her way to look after us.

Very nice owners live in the same building. They were very helpful. The small private yard has stunning mountain views, with yard furniture provided. Full kitchen. Ultra clean! Everything works... well maintained.... very comfortable. USB ports at bedsides. Great Wi_fi. Automatic outdoor lights turn on as you approach the front steps at night. Great place for 2-3 people.... plenty of room. Wengen is a great base for exploring the surrounding towns and highlights. Several bars and restaurants on the main street. A lively but quiet small town. Great train service to all points of interest.

The facility is perfect! We would stay again. Be aware that Wengen is not a flat town. No private cars are allowed in town. This apartment is 200-300 meter downhill walk from the main street and train station. You will need to walk the hills. Very few places in Wengen are on the main street flat area. It's a great small town. Very good example of a Swiss village.

It was an excellent experience. My girlfriend and I went for the first time to Wegen and we loved it. The view was amazing and Karin was so nice. She explained us everything we needed and gave us the schedule activities for the week. She was always there for any help. The internet was good, we were able to work and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking.

It was an amazing property which had every amenity we could think of catered for.

Great location and the best view in Switzerland. Plenty of room, great cooking facilities, very clean and superb lighting. The host—Karin was very friendly and welcoming and readily accessible and helpful.

Loved everything! Fantastic hosts, large and immaculately clean apartment with everything you could possibly need, and the absolutely amazing view! Wengen is the perfect location as a base for the region.

We loved everything, but people with mobility issues may struggle to stay anywhere in Wengen as it's quite hilly.

Karin and Thomas are the perfect hosts. Kind, generous. Comfortable space with panoramic views. Great wifi. Super comfortable beds and chairs. Umbrellas and ponchos in case of rain. Two grocery stores are near the train station (10 minutes away). The kitchen has every possible amenity and beautiful dishes so it is a pleasure to cook. Lovely yard. Karin will help you in any way. We enjoyed every minute and can't wait to return!
