Absolutely beautiful accommodation! It was beyond what I expected—spacious, luxurious and felt like a penthouse, with stunning views. The beach is literally across from the accommodation, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be visiting again! 🌊🏖️✨

The location of the property was excellent and suited our needs perfectly. Additionally, the on-site assistance was a highlight; the staff member was genuinely helpful and went out of their way to bring us candles during a four-hour power outage.

The property was misrepresented; the AC units were restricted to "owner use only" and the provided fans were rusted, which made staying with an infant very difficult. Most concerningly, after we raised these issues, management attempted to hold our security deposit and a partial refund hostage for 90 days, explicitly stating they would only pay once the review period had expired to prevent an honest review. Something else I forgot that my wife reminded me about was that some of the towels and sheets were dirty, We were hoping for a weekend of rest and peace and got a nightmare in exchange.

Everything was perfect!

Stunning views from this magnificent apartment and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Great communications from the apartment Manager Annaliese. Saw made it super safe and easy for access and departure. Clean pool for a swim and an exit gate onto the beach path if you prefer the sea. I would definitely return to Seaside Gateway.

The space was more than enough for for my family, Sea views, a few walking steps to the beach, a clean pool, safety and security, peace and quietness.

In the one bedroom, the bath was not draining water properly, but that's just a plumbing issue, so that they give it attention, otherwise, there was nothing faulty with this property.

The unit was absolutely well set up & comfortable. The agent and owner were very attentive and always ready to respond to any queries or concerns.

Just check all bathroom drainage. One or 2 were very slow bit wasn't a major problem.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at this beach apartment. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy, the lounge and dining area was absolutely spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The owners of this apartment paid so much attention to detail. The highlight was definitely the location—just a short walk to the beach with stunning ocean views right from the balcony. It made our mornings peaceful and our evenings unforgettable. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had all the information we needed before and during our stay.

An air-fryer and a bigger cooking pot would be good to have. This would complete it 100 % being a home-away-from-home. Other than these minor issues, everything was perfect.

Anneliese and Clare were very hospitable, Making sure my family and I were comfortable and had all we needed. The apartment was stunning and fully equipped. We loved the fact that the apartment was very spacious, also very clean and tidy. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I have searched for a place as magnificent as this and I have to say, this has really met ALL of my expectations. The peace and quiet was also a benefit. My family also felt safe due to having security. My advice is, stop searching and just book. It. This will certainly be our GO BACK TO holiday destination.

My family and I booked the Seaside Getaway for my 30th birthday celebration and it was amazing! The unit was beautiful, clean and super spacious. It was exactly like the pictures. I was very impressed with this unit, it had everything you need and more. It also accommodates for kids and provides useful items for them to use. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is very convenient and it's close to the popular Waffle House which is great. My family and I really enjoyed our holiday and will definitely be booking here again!

All I can say is wow...my family and I absolutely loved this place we have already made arrangements to come back... comfort, tranquility and so much more.

Had the most amazing stay at Seaside Getaway. The pictures do not do this unit justice, its beyond stunning. Such a peaceful and clean unit, We spent 3 nights and wish we could have extended our stay, the professionalism from Annelise was remarkable, will definitely be returning.

The property was lovely, just like the pictures, very spacious and clean, absolutely loved our stay and the view was amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Margate.

Nothing to do with the property, just the area and beaches have dilapidated a lot in the past years so it’s difficult to make use of the places around the property.

The property was big enough for all of us and very classy. It has a nice view and very close to the beach.We also enjoyed the clean pool . The lady who was helping us check in was very friendly.

I didn’t like the fact that we paid for cleaning services and we cleaned the property for the rest of the days we spent there. And the linen was not changed even once, yes the washing machines were available but we were in a holiday surely we were not expected to wash our linen.

The owners (Claire) and the agent (Annelise) were very super hospitable... checking up on us from day one... AWESOME place... will be making Seaside Gateway an annual holiday.

I liked everything about this apartment. Everything you need is there . Great value for money, you will never regret. Just be prepared for an additional refundable breakage fee.

The apartment was exactly as it was shown on the app and the beds, it's like sleeping on a cloud or something.

The apartment was exceptionally spacious and aesthetically pleasing, showcasing meticulous cleanliness and organization. The presence of three bathrooms ensures ample personal space for each occupant. The breathtaking sea views, coupled with the abundance of seating areas within the apartment, create an inviting and comfortable ambiance. All the bathrooms were spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was incredibly soothing. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was an additional entertainment area that proved useful when we couldn't go on the balcony due to the rain. Obtaining the keys and accessing the apartment was a hassle-free process, and the availability of lifts to the third floor was particularly helpful when carrying luggage in and out. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to reserve my next visit. It is an ideal choice for families or groups of friends, deserving a perfect score of 10/10.

There were no aspects that I found particularly dislikable. However, I would like to suggest the addition of a gas braai on the balcony, as we encountered rainy weather during our stay and were unable to fully utilize the existing braai area. Additionally, the door handle proved to be somewhat challenging to operate, requiring a bit of trial and error to successfully lock the door from the outside.

Stagnant water from river does have a slight odor but thats obviously out of the property's control.

1. Possibility of gas braai, should we experience inclimate weather 2. Blinds dysfunctional, especially if wanna sleep in. Automate blinds? I know of someone :)

Excellent location. The view is breathtaking. The house was super clean. The host was so super efficient no matter what questions I had and no matter the time. (Infact all of Booking . Coms hosts that I had the pleasure to speak to over the years) The beds were so comfy and luxurious. Just looking at the beach from the balcony was heaven itself. The pool and pool area was clean and tidy and so was the braai area and It was such a spacious apartment with top of the range furnishings and appliances as well as utensils. Would never hesitate to return or recommend to anyone I know. Thank you Booking. Com for another amazing weekend.

The communal shower was leaking water either from the shower door or under the tile which made it slippery. That was the only flaw.

The apartment was beyond the out expectations, so perfect. We love everything about it 💕💕💕 We will definitely visit again and again 😊😊

We had such a lovely stay at the accommodation. The place was immaculate, rooms were spacious and each with an ensuite. View of the ocean from the balcony was lovely. Pool was clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
