Reviewed Mar 14, 2026The villa is very clean and beautiful. The stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful local breakfast. Great location with walking distance from a beautiful beach.
During our entire stay at the villa, the room was never cleaned. Perhaps we just needed to ask.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Great staff and location. A relaxed environment where one could spend time on the veranda reading and relaxing.
On a busy road, which intruded onto the relative peace and quiet. The hot water heater needs to have a greater capacity to ensure the hot water is at the desired temperature.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Staff great and a spacious, airy and quiet accommodation. Started the day with a hearty breakfast, accompanied with excellent service.
Hot water could be hotter. Felt the price a bit toppy, which would put me of staying again.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The best things were the fresh, local breakfast (great variety too), the villa itself (classic Kerala) and the staff, some of the most genuine and friendly people we met on our trip.
The mattress was rather thin and hard, the room was too warm at night and it was hard to dry the bathroom/wet room once wet (after a shower), so it often smelled damp for hours at a time.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2024Great sized room, loved how quiet it was whilst still being within walking distance of the main beach area and cliff restaurants etc. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Very nice wholesome breakfast and we enjoyed the calmness of this place. Its nothing too fancy but had everything we needed. Shower worked well, as did wifi and the place was very clean and comfortable so ticked all the boxes on that front. We stayed 3 nights whilst here.
No fault of the property at all but the beaches at Varkala were full of litter! Saw many locals just toss litter off the cliff every day we were there. A real shame as it could be such a beautiful area and this definitely spoils it. Nothing to note about the apartment we stayed in as it met our expectations.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2024Everything was grateful! The location is perfect: 5-7 min walking to the beach, there are a lot of coffees and some shops near, but it’s no noisy street. Staff are helpful and very friendly. The house is nice and comfortable as well as breakfast. The great opportunity is payment by card:)
