The stay was comfortable, close to cenang beach walking distance and the host was super nice. The check in process was smooth and all the amenities al were provided. It was a self checkout which made is super convo went and hassle free. The rooms were cozy and cute

Lovely individual units, the hosts provided a free landlady service, treated us to a bottle of wine, provided a motorcycle recommendation, and the room was made up daily, with fresh towels (what a treat!). The units are c. 5 min walk to the beach and close to the bars n restaurants of PC. We used the bamboo cafe next door for our breakfast which was super affordable and convenient!

The location in a car park is a little strange, particularly on arrival. I appreciate there has been a lot of planting in the car park, but improved curb appeal would go a long way. The room was sometimes a little dark due to the lack of windows, this could be improved either with shutters or a brighter light in the room. I would also suggest that some kind of arrangement is made with the bamboo cafe next door to offer discounted breakfast / brunch as it was super convenient, particularly as landmark doesn’t offer breakfast itself! However this doesn’t take away from the brill stay we had here !

He picked us up from the airport, dropped us off when we left, and checked in with us every now and then to make sure everything was going well. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to help. 🧹 Cleanliness (10/10): The villa was spotless throughout our stay. The housekeeper cleaned and tidied the room every day, replaced the bottled water daily, and kept everything looking fresh. 🧺 Amenities (10/10): The laundry service was a nice bonus. We could let them know exactly how we wanted our clothes washed (we asked for them to be air-dried), and the housekeeper even helped hang them up while we were out, which we really appreciated. 🛏️ Room (10/10): The villa has a really nice mix of luxury and a cosy vintage wooden cottage vibe. It felt comfortable, peaceful, and was a great place to come back to after a day out. 📍 Location (10/10): Only about a 5-minute walk to the beach and the main street, so restaurants, cafés, and shops were all within easy walking distance. 📶 Wi-Fi (7.5/10): The internet was a little slow for the first day or two, but once we mentioned it, Leonard restarted the router straight away and the connectivity got better after that. 🌙 Things to Note: We heard a few stray dogs barking one night, but it didn’t last long and wasn’t a big issue. 💡 Tip: We’d recommend leaving the air conditioner on while you’re out, just like Leonard suggested. We left a spare key card in the power slot so the aircon stayed on, and it was really nice coming back to a cool room after being out in the heat. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free place to stay

The hospitality when we arrived at the property was unmatched. Extremely friendly and helpful, willing to assist us in any way possible. The room was immaculate and cleaned everyday. We received fresh bath towels and also beach towels which was amazing for us. The bed was so comfortable and we had the tv which we used to play music. The bathroom was amazing, shower was hot and a lovely bath. We were also given vinegar to help us incase we got jelly fish bites while exploring beaches. Our water was replaced each day also! I highly recommend this property!!

The location was fairly quiet, minutes away from the beach, shops and places to eat. The room was air-conditioned, it had a very comfortable bed with quality bedding, a smart TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, excellent wifi and a verandah to sit out on. Leonard, the host, was charming, friendly and attentive. He did everything he could to ensure the stay was the very best it could be, going above and beyond expectations.

Nothing to dislike that was within the host's capability of rectifying.

Nothing to do with Leonard's place but I didn't love Pantai Cenang. One of those places where every single thing there is only there because you are. Brash and a bit tacky.

Beautiful traditional Malaysian house. Very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom with big bath and separate shower. The gentleman overseeing the properties was just that, a true gentleman. He could not do enough for us, always asking if he could do anything more to make our stay even better. Tip, behind the property is the Golden Bamboo cafe, this is a must go. Great for breakfast, beautiful food and wonderful service.

The bathroom got very hot as there was no air-conditioning in it. But not a deal breaker.

Loved that the place is 4 min walk from the Patai Chenang beach and the main street. Loved the stay absolutely. Listening to the birds chirping around the stay was very therapeutic. There is a 7/11 3 mins away where you can get a sim as well. There were a few dogs barking at night but it wasn't bad to disturb the sleep. The property owner already provided us with the ear plugs for that when we checked in. The room was great and very cozy. Washroom was really spacious and clean. We were provided with bath robes, beach-mat, beach-towels, umbrella and a beach-ball to play with. Room cleaning was provided everyday. The owner was quite responsive and provided us with great suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. Love love loved every bit of the stay. Leonard if we are coming again we will stay with you. Please provide us the room at the same rate. Thanks for having us! :)

Just wished the AC cooled a little better during the day time since we felt a little hot during the day time even with 16 degree Celcius as the AC temperature.

the room was very good ... the manager was very helpful and supportive and helped in every way he could. highly appreciate his abilities and services. but he also could help us in changing the room as it was not in his purview.

bathroom was horrible. from the room we could see the opposite building under construction. which was not as seen in the picture. firstly the ac was not working. tap was not working. we asked for a replacement room which was not given to us.

Room was great, small with little in the way of storage but great location near beach and main thoroughfare. Leonard our host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he went far out of his way to make us comfortable. Rooms overlook car park and building sire but you ate only there to sleep and get ready for the day. If you are ok with living out of you case and not looking for 5 star luxury give it a try.

Rooms have 0 soundproofing and the location is right next to a bus station/ car park and a big building development. You can hear everything. Also, there was no receptionist, just a welcome note that told us our room number. It took us 20 minutes to find the room as it was above the reception and it wasn’t clear there was even a room located there.

Probably the best and most personable service I have had in any hotel. Very nice and comfortable room, exactly what I was looking for. Location is very close to the main strip of Cenang.

Excellent communication with the host! Super kind and always prepared to go the extra mile. They let us wash our clothes for free. And free bottled water, even when we went for a walk he would give us an another! Can’t fault the service! Location is next to the bars/restaurants.

Unfortunately noise due to building work nearly and a lot of motorbikes, every day around 5am for 20 mins! The host does provide ear plugs, and was kind to give us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience.

A very cozy place that beautifully captures the island atmosphere. The property is clean and in a great location, with nice restaurants nearby. There is plenty of covered space to park a bike, which is very convenient. Excellent service and a comfortable, relaxing stay overall.

Our stay at Landmark Cenang was absolutely fantastic. The villas perfectly blend traditional Malaysian charm with modern comforts and are located just a short walk from the vibrant beach and shops. The service truly set this stay apart. Leonard was awesome—he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even surprised us with a thoughtful Christmas gift, which made our holiday extra special. We highly recommend this gem!

Nice little room with balcony, bathroom was lovely. Clean Be great if it was on the beach or somewhere quiet.

Basically the property is in a disused car park with unfinished buildings in the grounds. Kept awake by cars racing in the car park until 1am. Wild dogs barking all night and a mosque wailing at 6am in the morning. They supply ear plugs for the noise. Paid for 6 nights but we left after one night. Lost all the money.

The host was so lovely. Accommodated me as much as possible, professional, gave excellent tips for the area. Location was perfect. Room, although small, was furnished so nicely. Lots of thoughtful touches. Overall I loved the place. So cute and full of character.

The noise around the area (motor bikes) can get quite loud. Also noise from the other chalets. The earplugs at the bedside are very needed. I know there is very little the hosts can do about it, so it's not to complain but to create an awareness.

The property was close to the main strip, the beach, restaurants, and the airport. It was clean, homey, private and filled with all the necessary toiletries. The welcome was warm and personalized which was a nice touch. The owner went above and beyond to provide maximum comfort and helped with planning activities.

Horrible construction outside the front of the cabins. The location is truly awful... You have to walk past construction and car parks to get to the beach. You really cannot relax on the property. The hotel manager made me uncomfortable also. He has a good heart and is trying to help, but very over bearing.

The host was incredibly friendly, always available, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and everything worked flawlessly. You can really tell that a lot of thought went into all the little details, it felt fresh and almost brand new. Overall, it was great value for money and I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Het huis was schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. De kamer had airconditioning en de badkamer is heel luxe! Beneden kun je heerlijk aan tafel zitten en genieten van wat meegebracht fruit of iets anders bij de ventilator. De eigenaar doet er alles aan om het je naar je zin te maken.

Very nice villa just a short walk from the centre of Cenang. The owner was kind and attentive.

It is unique and the welcome was great! It felt like a personal service from pick up to drop off.

Possible things to consider: Offer mosquito nets? I know there were wall plugs, but could be a consideration. Possibly have umbrellas? It was sweltering when we were there and unfortunately didn’t pack an umbrella, but could have been useful if this was available from the property.

The house was clean, well-maintained, and nicely presented. Airport pickup was smooth, and small gestures like a bottle of wine and a coconut were appreciated. Housekeeping was excellent.

The view was disappointing, overlooking an inactive construction site. The scooter rental was overpriced, and my sleep was disturbed every night by barking stray dogs-earplugs were provided, but this felt inadequate given the high price. Post stay communication for my invoice was frustrating and unresolved.

Everything was thought out so well. The space has everything you need. Also the host is very professional and goes out of their way to make sure you're enjoying your stay.

Nice bungalows five minutes from the main beach. The manager is an extremely kind and helpful person. If any issues came up, he would resolve them immediately.

It was a very nice experience staying in traditional type accommodation. The host Leonard was very nice and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms were well appointed and the bed very comfortable.

It is quite hot due to no shade, this is a newly built business though so in the future as it develops there will be trees and more gardens.

Lovely, traditional style Malaysian housing! It’s a really pleasant set of cottages that have been built with a lot of care. The host, Leonard, is exceptionally polite and is always on hand to help with any queries. The property is only around a 5 minute walk to the beach/shops.

Unfortunately the area has a lot of stray dogs. This is something out of the property’s control, but it did impact the stay for me as there was a pack of about 5 of them and I’m not great with dogs at the best of times. At night particularly, they made a lot of noise. The accommodation does provide ear plugs, though I found this ineffective for me. It is something that the property can’t control, but it did affect my stay so it’s something to bear in mind.

We're glad we booked this traditional Malaysian hut for our visit to Cenang. It was very strangely located on a gravel lot, but the hut itself was cozy. No breakfast is served here, but we can recommend the Golden Bamboo Café next door.

Facilities were top notch, nice clean room, convenient location not far from the beach, shops and restaurants. Owner and stuff were very helpful and polite.

Unfortunaly the view is not great but I think it's a work in progress and the owner try to improve as much as he can, some noises from the street dogs during nights but that's nothing they can do i guess. The window bathroom need a net or something to keep insects outside.

It can get very noisy at night, and the house is facing a parking lot and a construction site which slightly disrupts the ambiance. Bathroom has holes on the walls easy mosquito access.

The vibe, the aesthetics of the stay were beyond great. Well maintained, traditional, yet no compromise was made on the facilities. The host, Leonard, went beyond his role to make sure the guests were comfortable, promptly addressed any issues, and made sure we got the best out of langkawi.

Private little villa situated right off Cenang beach with a quick easy walk to the main street. Very comfortable bed with a spacious bathroom and fast wifi. Leonard was very welcoming and provided complimentary coconut drinks and airport transfers. Highly recommend!
