Property is located in the middle of the mountains which is really amazing. Lake Tekapo is at short distance. The best thing we loved is that host provided footwear to wear inside the unit.

Parking space was not enough as we had a big pickup truck so we parked on the street but in this I believe nothing is the host can do.

We were very happy with our stay. Although the property isn't right next to Lake Tekapo, it's still only a short drive away, so the location was very convenient. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were excellent, and we really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The bathroom sink was draining a little slowly, but other than that, everything was great.

Soulless sitting amongst numerous other holiday rental properties. Felt like a new build rental village.

The suite is located in a quiet neighbourhood with shared parking with several other units, only 2 minutes' drive to the main street and the lake. The facilities are modern and clean, very good for a short stay with families and friends.

There are constructions happening around the suite, causing a little bit of disturbing noise, but not too much, and of course not during the night.

All facilities, except dryer as drying is difficult in cold and rainy conditions

Looked out directly onto a building site with a digger right in front of our view. Constantly smell of marajuianas when outside the property

Well located, easy to find, a modern thoughtfully furnished unit.

Although modern and well appointed with floral decorations and complimentary chocolates, the unit had not been commissioned. The bedside lamps could not be used as they were not fitted with NZ connectors. The TV had not been configured with either the satellite , cable or landline services so was not available for guests to use.

The size was good for the three of us. And location although out of the centre a bit it was easy to get around

More kitchen equipment for cooking. The Xmas tree was still up but this could of been due to the fact that the nationality of the people that own the property not sure when it should come down.

The suite looks more like a private villa, located within a small residential area. Parking was very convenient, and it’s only about a 5-minute drive to the Church of the Good Shepherd and Lake Tekapo, making the location excellent. The accommodation is well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely responsible and attentive. She sent clear arrival instructions in advance and contacted us promptly after check-out to let us know that we had left something behind. Thanks to her care and professionalism, we were able to successfully recover our lost item, which we truly appreciated. We feel very lucky to have met such a kind and thoughtful host. She also mentioned that she has other properties by the lakeside, which we would definitely consider booking next time. Lake Tekapo is absolutely beautiful - although the weather wasn’t perfect during our visit, it gives us a good reason to come back again.

Clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was excellent.

We thought 500 NZ dollars a night for what was a ship sized cabin way too expensive and notes about upkeep/dishes etc were not needed as basically you leave it how you find it. No TV instructions but found freeview as TV not programmed. Refridgerator hum 2 metres from bed. -best to integrate the fridge in this situation. Lights for utilities/wifi plugs etc dotted all over the cabin. The place was lit up like a christmas tree at night.

The single bed is not firm enough. It was shaking when you turned over.

The queen bed was two single beds pushed together leaving a gap in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable. Also there was a switch under the bed due to the electric heating blankets which we had to adjust.

Super clean and well prepared. Efficient layout and very good communication with property manager. A nice walk to city center and great selection of food and restaurant choices. Highly recommend Jade Palace for authentic Chinese. Excellent hike (John’s walk) to excellent view of lake and great little cafe on top.

Like all properties in Tekapo it was expensive.

The room was good if a little cosy for two. We really liked both the dishwasher and washing machine which came with dishwasher tablets and washing powder. Good bathroom and everything was very clean. Just a walk to a short drive from the centre of the village. Easy car parking.

The room was at the end of the long road out of Tekapo where most of the village's accommodation is situated. Even in summer it's a bit bleak. As others have mentioned the outside of the building is a little industrial. There is lots of new building going on so the deck looks out onto other cabin and a building works - not very scenic

Overall good property good location good amenities provided. However the beds were terrible really fragile was not comfortable at all. For the price we paid for property you would expect much better amenities

L'hébergement était conforme aux photos, très propre. Les lits étaient très confortables, la cuisine était très bien équipée.

Nous étions dans un pré-fabriqué, avec vue sur les voisins. Très cher la nuit pour être dans un pré-fabriqué ! Lorsque nous sommes sortis sur la terrasse pour apprécier les étoiles, la lumière de la terrasse s'est allumée, ce qui a gâché ce plaisir et nous n'avons pas pu en profiter.

This is a beautiful, new house with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is excellent, and the space is spotless, quiet, and very well maintained. The location by Lake Tekapo is outstanding, with great restaurants, the lake, and the dark sky, if you get lucky with stargazing, all within easy walking distance, so there is no need to drive at all. Communication was excellent and smooth throughout, making the entire stay effortless.

Comfortable room no reception was given check-in proceedure by email … complicated instructions to open the door … not something required after a tiring drive . Once in the room it was very comfortable ..

For this asking price you would expect a premium experience, found a s* show instead. Was allocated Room 1. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the distinct smell of cheap cleaning products. Then there are two odd foreign insect repellant looking plugs connected through adapters at each side of the room. Looking at past reviews there was a mouse found in one of the rooms a few months back. Towels - overpowering smell of vinegar on all towels given, one was worn out and had clearly visible holes. Bedside lamps missing components (safety?) and are sitting unplugged with no way to plug them in. A ton of rubbish and dust underneath the bed. No face cloths (standard in most hotel rooms). Couldn't even navigate YouTube as it was set to foreign language setting. Look elsewhere. Yes there is a washing machine (which stinks) and cooking equipment however you can easily find these in most other accomodation options in the area. The asking price is also ridiculous, while the Lake Tekapo area is more expensive overall, I paid more than three times less (!!) for something more reputable with cooktop and washing machine options (and more) the night before. Stay away.

The property was easy to find and get into. We were visiting during the Holidays and the hosts graciously provided a bottle of wine and some sweet treats. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the way the pictures are displayed on booking.com is misleading. I was under the impression that were going to have a suite (one room with the sofa and a bedroom). This was not the case. We ended up sharing 1 small room for 4 people.

A very lovely little house with well-equipped facilities. I especially loved the electric blanket. After stargazing, my whole body was freezing, and the electric blanket truly saved me.

The only downside was that there were spider webs on the outdoor chairs.

1/ the property amenities are very cheap. 2/ The room is very small, basically one queen bed + sofa bed leaves almost no spaces. 3/ Smelly in the entry area, maybe from the bathroom. 4/ Way over priced.

All the extra appliances- washing machine with dryer, dishwasher with plenty of tablets and washing powder. Then in the bathroom extra large shampoo and conditioner. Had a problem with TV and assistance came straight away.

There was a big black book with loads of rules.(a little put off the way how it is worded) It is very expensive for a cabin style accommodation, but everyone is charging similar rates in this location.
