This villa has a tasteful design and friendly hosts, making it perfect for families and dog owners. We loved the stunning views of the gorgeous river, along with the boat and SUP boards. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing. It is an excellent spot for both a summer holiday or a winter getaway. As a bonus, everything we could possibly need was already provided. We highly recommend it.

Great stay in a beautiful cabin! Compact but everything thought of and really clean! Loved the hot tub and the kids loved the sledges and all the other bits provided by Laura:)

Just to note the steps to the beds are quite steep/high if you have very small kids.

Un vrai paradis ! Nous avons adoré le jacuzzi sur la terrasse, et le logement en pleine nature, d'une distance correcte de Rovaniemi (environ 25 minutes). La vue sur le lac gelé est incroyable. Nous avons observé les plus belles aurores boréales du ponton qui donne sur le lac. Le logement est un petit cocon: tout est très bien pensé (jusqu'aux petits peignoirs pour les enfants !).

Le seul petit bémol serait le manque de placards, mais honnêtement, cela n'entache pas le caractère exceptionnel de ce logement !

Superbe villa très chaleureuse et très accueillante grâce au propriétaire. Tout était allumé à notre arrivé (petite lumière décorative, bougies, jacuzzi, ...) et cela fait vraiment un effet très cosi.

Wirklich wunderschöne kleine Villa am Rande von Rovaniemi. Überkomplett eingerichtet mit liebevollen Details an jeder Ecke. Die Lage in erster Reihe direkt am See sorgt für Ruhe und Privatsphäre, wunderschöne Ausblicke in Sommer wie im Winter (mit etwas Glück auch Polarlichter) und ausreichend Platz für den Steg und Sitzgruppe mit Feuerstelle für BBQ direkt am Ufer (ausreichend Holz ist vorhanden), die große überdachte Terrasse mit privatem Hot Tub, Sitzecke und zweiter Mini-Feuerstelle etc.. Die Sauna drinnen sorgt für Entspannung, die großzügigen Schlafplätze im OG sind über kleine Leitern erreichbar - für die Kinder ein großes Abenteuer! Gute Matratzen, wunderschöne Sauna mit Blick auf den See, alles da, was man braucht - sogar eine Flasche Wein hat im Kühlschrank auf uns gewartet und die Kinder bekamen von der sehr netten Gastgeberin sogar ein kleines, liebevolles Geschenk - uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Die Vermieterinnen sind beide sehr freundlich. Sie haben uns alle Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet und uns Tipps für Restaurants gegeben! Sie haben uns die Sauna angeschaltet, wir sind zurückgekommen und konnten gleich die Sauna benutzen! Vielen lieben Dank noch einmal dafür!😊 Die Lage der Minivilla ist wunderschön an einem See! Wir konnten direkt vor der Tür Eisangeln! (Ein Eisbohrer wäre die Krönung gewesen😉, der ist zu großfürs Gepäck) Aber, das ist jammern auf höchstem Niveau! 😉 Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen lieben Dank!

Sehr gut ausgestattet, liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, tolle Lage am See (eigenes Auto aber Voraussetzung), schöne Sauna (schnell aufgeheizt), alles top vorbereitet

Der Boden war recht kalt, aber es hatte draußen auch -32 Grad. Es gab aber auch viele Teppiche und Hausschlapfen und Socken.

Il faisait très chaud malgré la ventilation baissé. Je n'ai pas laissé mon enfant de 4 dormir sur la mezzanine car cela me semblait trop haut et on adapté

I like everything about this villa. I like the jacuzzi/ sauna and kitchen as well cook and enjoy family time in the quiet space. The host helped us to do some laundry as well as we are moving on to other countries after this 5 days stay. The host is super responsive to answer my queries and very kind!

All perfect, only lack of switches/plug to charge our gadgets but we made do by off some lights to get it done. The terrace door is quite heavy to open but still manageable!

I can’t recommend this property enough!!! It is gorgeous, great location and good value for money. The hosts were exceptional and response times were very quick. It has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay :) We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the property and they were incredible!! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone;)

Leuk opgezet minivilla. alles is wat klein maar heeft ook zijn charme. In de zomer was het prima hier vol te houden door airco en goede kwaliteit van zwemwater.

Jaccuzi was niet schoon bij aankomst stonk helaas.

Sehr schöne, idyllische Lage, komfortabel. Freundliche, absolut diskrete Vermieter (im in Abstand stehenden Gebäude). Das traumhafte Flussdelta, für uns als Kajakfahrer die Touren zu den einsamen (Bade-)Inseln im Kemijoki. Die schöne Terrasse mit Sonne, die Sauna, der Jacuzzi, der Steg mit Bademöglichkeit (es gibt dort auch ein Ruderboot)... Alles war perfekt! Vielen Dank und Grüße nach Ternu!

Luxusprobleme... Man kann die Europastrasse hören. Wenn die Sauna betrieben wird, heizen sich die Schlafzimmer mit auf, da hat die Klimaanlage (wir waren im Sommer dort bei ca.28°C Außentemperatur) lange zu tun um es wieder abzukühlen, im Winter bestimmt super! Es gibt keine Schränke für Kleidung, nur an den Wänden hängende, offene Körbe.

Aivan täydellinen paikka! Näkee että halutaan pistää asiakkaille vain parasta. Ollaan reissattu monissa mökeissä ympäri Suomen eikä olla näin siistissä mökissä ikinä oltu. Suosittelen kyllä kaikille, loistava mökki täydellisillä puitteilla 🩷

The location was stunning . Property was well equipped and super clean. Facilities were great - hot tub, boat, grill, sauna etc. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, even welcoming us with wine and chocolates. The mosquito zappers were so useful.

Could occasionally hear the traffic from the main road.

The location, layout, amenities (sauna & hot tub, etc.), and design touches Very comfortable beds. The hosts were super punctual in replying to questions and requests and super helpful! The river views were so calming and beautiful!

The shower needs a longer glass door on the sink side as the shower spray gets all over the floor but easily cleaned up.

The villa was great and true to photos, it was a bit bigger than we expected. really lovely, with beds and sofa comfy and cosy atmosphere with lots of little extras. We used the sauna and hot tub which was amazing under the fairy lights. We didnt get to light fire pit but that was our fault. (another night and we would have) We hired a car, which was easily parked and the location was great, looking out over the lake was beautiful day or night, we made friends with a local and tried our hands at ice fishing, and had a wander through the trees, only 20 mins from restaurants etc in Rovaniemi. We made a simple meal on the night of our arrival to relax and make the most of our stay in the villa and ate out the following day/night. We weren't lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our stay but still an amazing visit.

Upstairs bedroom a bit too hot

It's like winter Wonderland. Just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi but you feel like U are in a very remote location.Sitting in a hot jacuzzi, looking over a frozen lake is like a dream. The house is compact but very well equipped. The kitchen is fully operating,full of utensils,spices,even coffee machine stocked with Starbucks coffee pods😁We found colouring pencils,toys,board games,sledge for outside for kids. Crocks for everyone,socks,head torches. Fire pit for marshmallows and sausages. We had very relaxing and pleasant stay🥂

The property was gorgeous, all spotlessly clean and left ready for our arrival with the hot tub ready to jump in and a bottle of wine on the side (which was a lovely touch).

The beds aren’t really suitable for 6 adults sharing as one bedroom is basically inside another bedroom (luckily there were only 4 of us) so it worked out fine.

Beautiful views, lavish feelz, special welcome with chocolate and wine. Such a cool interior with black and green theme. Jacuzzi and sauna experiences were out of the world. Very well maintained and all the utensils were available. Must visit.

Mosquitoes

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Feb Half Term (UK). The accommodation was bigger than we expected. It was immaculate, comfy, cosy and had everything we needed. We loved using the sauna and hot tub under the fairy lights. The kids enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit and playing with the sledges provided. We had a hire car, which we could park next to the accommodation and the location was great, as it's only 20 mins from restaurants in Rovaniemi and local supermarkets. The owners, who live nearby, were lovely, rescuing us from a wrong turn when we arrived and welcomed us with wine and chocolates. The icing on the cake was standing out on the frozen lake on our last night and seeing the Northern Lights. The perfect end to the perfect holiday. I would highly recommend for a magical, peaceful stay.

The villa itself is on a very nice, quiet nature setting. Villa is amazing decorated and very modern. Has everything you need and even a welcome gift! The outside area is so serene you couldn't dream of better. Everything was absolutely perfect and would highly recommend! 👌

The pictures don't do it justice as the place was even more beautiful in person!! The surroundings were very picturesque as well and we had a very nice relaxing time with all the amenities that we needed for a home away from home. The best part was the jacuzzi which was ready by the time we checked in :) Overall very happy with our stay and it was a very seamless check-in process as the owners sent clear and easy instructions well in advanced.

Honestly I couldn't really fault anything. It was a perfect getaway.

If you like peace and quiet, then this is the place to go. yYou are in a private environment and from the jacuzzi you have a beautiful view over the lake. Everything was well taken care of. Janne and Laura were very nice and responded quickly to questions via chat. our stay in the mini villa was truly magical.

Lots of lovely & thoughtful touches throughout the apartment by the owners. Design throughout the apartment is modern, cosy and clean. Location was great and very accessible. Space at the side of the apartment for a car. The sledges to borrow was a big hit for our son!! 500m from the main road but has a lovely secluded feel to it especially driving up to it through the big trees with the snow, very dreamy! We loved it 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Modern and quirky accommodation in a magical setting! Loved it.

Beautifully decorated and very cozy little guest house next to a lake. Perfect location for people who prefer a more private accomotation. It's about 15-20 minute drive from Rovaniemi and about 25 min to Santas Village. Very smartly organised floorplan as there is place to sleep for 6 people so perfect for larger families. Our 2 kids loved that they were able to sleep in the "attic". Sauna is very nice and our whole family felt that this is a must thing to have if you have spend almost an entire day outside during winter time. But I think it would be also very nice to run directly from the sauna and jump into the lake during summer time. Then again, as an Estonian, I'm probably too biased as I can't live without a good sauna anyway :) The kitchen has everything needed to cook and enjoy any kind of meal. Door has a smartlock so very convinient to operate and WiFi speed is great throughout the house. Would definetly come back again!

The only small drawback during winter is that because one of the sleeping areas is located close to ceiling and is above the sauna then this sleeping area is probably 3 degrees warmer than the main livingroom area on the ground floor.

One of the loveliest stays we ever had! We love to travel but it’s safe to say we never had such a beautiful and lovely housing! You could see that the owners did everything to make us feel welcome! We are leaving fascinated by the Finnish landside! We can just recommend it, if you want your stay to be unforgettable!

You have to keep in mind that you need a car since it’s a 20 minutes right to Rovanimi, but on the other hand you have a quiet place just for yourself with a wonderful view, definitely worth it!
