Mangrove Ecostay

We had a wonderful stay at Mangrove Eco Stay in Gokarna! Everything was very good—from the peaceful location and beautiful surroundings to the comfort and overall experience. The stay was relaxing, pleasant, and exactly what we needed for our trip. The hospitality was great, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gokarna! 🌿✨

Everything is good apart from property owners

I booked two rooms which accomodates by group, initially when I speak with property owner they said if we can adjust they are OK. During check in time they we had to pay extra 1000 rupees for with out getting any thing extra from what I booked and asking us to adjust even after paying extra. And they asked to cancel my stay from booking.com app and give discount if I book with them directly which is costing more than offered from platform. The discussion should be transparent as we can't wait outside the door with kids after a long journey

This place is excellent considering the rooms, cleanliness, service and the location . Really good for families. Breakfast is homely and one of the very best. Mr.Mohan the caretaker is supportive and available. Suggest to visit this property for your comfortable stay. Thank you ... Mangrove Ecostay..

Loved the rooms

Hospitality was very good and the room was also very clean and comfortable. The location of the stay is very peaceful and nice For cars there is a free parking which is very good . The ac and hot water is available for the whole day and overall the stay was amazing and worth for the money

There is one thing and I think that is for the season we went there There were insects coming into our room maybe it was our fault too as we kept the door open sometimes.

It was very clean. Coffee was very good. It was worth of money since the room was very spacious

I like everythng about stay

Maintenance of the property is super clean

The place was comfortable and clean, host responsive.

It was a little away from main Gokarna.

Comfortable stay and responsive host, coffee.

I had a wonderful stay at Mangrove Eco Stay. The property is well-maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Mangrove Eco Stay to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable getaway.

Very good service and better staff

Very good

Service is very good And receiving and hosting is very good We are impressed by Manager behavior

Good

I went with my family of 5, the hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. Overall a very cozy stay that is very near to all places in Gokarna.

Nothing as such. Just a lil advice the top most bed in bunker bed needs to be a little lower so that fan/AC reaches the person and a charging socket for the above person would be comfortable :)

Every thing is good.

Rooms are clean and hygienic and are comfortable for a family. Thanks Manjunath sir for accepting early morning check-in. I had a great experience talking to you. Pleasent location and peaceful and good budget friendly stay.

But far from the temple and beach.

Politeness of the staff, Mohan & his wife were very decent & cooperative.

Its awesome place and excellent hospitality.. Friendly staff.. And the food was excellent..

Room size was totally compact but in the app its too big

It was really clean

There were some insects

Location was good...

Hotel congested and lot of mosquitos..door not locked properly Expect location is worst ..waste of money.

Good but, value for money

Near by highways

Clean room, courteous staff

Need to ask the staff for basic stuff like pillow covers, lenin etc. Ac remote was taken away after switching on , had to ask them to get it, strange.

Tastes good and value for money.

We stayed for one day and that day there was some electricity issue for whole night. The owner himself offered the refund of 500 as we booked the room.

There was ac leakage problem in the room. Whole room was flooded with water even though the electricity was not there most of the time. The room was on second floor with no lift access. The parking is limited but they offeres some road side parking near by around 100m. This could have mentioned. The staff is bit dumb but was helpful.

We had a comfortable stay here and it's very near to the railway station. Mr.Manjunath is very friendly and takes care of everything

The house, owner, management and staff provide personal care and attention of the things, departure, arrival, breakfast, lunch, dinner travel plan and anything or everything is discussed and taken care of. Mr manjunatha and Mohan are taking good care of the guests and the lady of the kitchen is brilliant and home-made preparations. I like the discipline, calmness and spontaneity of the arrangements strongly recommended.

There is nothing as such, which is noticeable missing

The stay was quite pleasant with the owner being a fabulous host. He gave us the room 2 hours early & also allowed us to check out 2 hrs later (cant confirm for you). Overall good budget place to stay at!

Friendly hosting

Excellent, room service, AC, lovely ladies that own the home. I was struggling with some health stuff so really needed this space. 🙏🧘🏼‍♀️ Thank you so much & blessings. Also perfect for needing to be near the train station. 🙏

Mangrove Ecostay is good choice for any tourists for Gokarna. Location is good. Room is neat. Room size could have been more oterwise it is good. Owner Manjunath and Care taker Mohan are very helpful. Manjunath suggested our next go to tourist places on the way to Murdeshwar. Thank you Manjunath

The host was very helpful and jovial. The food in the stay was great and the stay was maintained well. The washrooms were clean too.

My family and I recently stayed at Mangroves Eco stay in Gokarna and had a wonderful experience! The homestay was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. The hosts Mohan bhai and Amma, were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated their helpfulness in recommending local attractions and arranging transportation for us. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, local ingredients used. We enjoyed and were particularly impressed. Overall, we highly recommend to other travelers. we would gladly stay there again on our next trip!

Nothing to dislike..!!!

We stayed in this property from 15-17 May, 2025. The property is well maintained and clean. The caretaker couple is very kind, lovely and helpful. The breakfast served by them was awesome. The location of property is very near to Gokarna railway station. All places to visit in Gokarna are well within the reach and 2-3 places can be visited in a day if planned properly.

location

facilities like tv, ac power back up, fan quality, toilet flush not working, no backup for hot water, etc

The stay was good and clean. And owner was helpful and friendly. Room was good with Ac and ventilation

Close to railway station and backwaters. Owner is helpful and helps to even plan your stay and places to watch along with helping with renting etc.

Great service , comfortable

Good Family stay

Easily accessible and cozy home stay Caretaker was sweet and helpful to guide us Was easily accessible to railway station and restaurants

Room condition is good - Hygiene, Cleanly ness , bed, bathrooms is all good Staff behavior is good.

- Location is bit far from main Gokarna so every time you have to travel around 20 to 30 minutes. no near by restaurants - Bit on higher side for price.

Sparkling clean and Hygienic room as well as bathroom.. Highly comfortable beds and clean and fresh bedspread. Friendly Host and Highly attentive Caretaker

Staff was really great and the people were very kind to help with my sightseeing... I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend if anyone wants to stay near the railway station which is at walking distance.

Property is on the main road hence there may be some vehicle noise in the night which can affect the sleep.

Neat rooms, comfortable stay

Comfortable stay. Good location. Clean accommodation.
