The house was very clean n accommodating.. Perfect area and great privacy.. Really nice place..

The apartment was walking distance to the lake, restaurants and cafes. There was parking for 2 cars, one in a garage. On arrival the apartment heating was on so it was warm and inviting on a cold winter day. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was well equipped including a washing machine and dishwasher.

Dishes were put away dirty. One of the single beds had not been made up and had dirt on the sheets like it had not been changed.

Fantastic apartment, home away from home. Super location. Will be back.

It was advertised as a two bathroom property however it was one jack and Jill bathroom with a separate toilet. The owner was very condescending when approached and another issue with the oven.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Having a locked garage for parking was a bonus.

Not so keen on the shared bathroom.

Excellent location, and a superbly clean apartment with everything you might need for a good stay.

Both bedrooms are upstairs and are connected by a lovely bathroom with a door each side. Only one of these doors locks, and one bedroom has no opening windows to the outside. There was a fan in the room, but it was not enough to save the room from being unbearably hot at night. The main bedroom did have a heat pump. We were two couples, so the layout did not work well for us with the bathroom. I imagine for a family it would be fine, but the lack of privacy for us was difficult. I should also add that the weather was very hot during our stay.

Fantastic location near the main town. Very, very clean and great modern, uncluttered neutral decor.

Everything was great, only issue was we couldn’t get the dishwasher or aircon in the lounge to work.

I checked very carefully, and the booking information clearly states that the apartment has 2 bathrooms. That was one of the key reasons we chose this property. However, in reality there is only one bathroom shared between two bedrooms, which is not very convenient. Overall, the location is very good, and the apartment feels new, clean, and well maintained. Having both air-conditioning and heating is excellent. There are, however, a few issues we experienced during our stay. When I asked about kitchen paper in the evening, the reply came about 40 minutes later, which was fine. But the response only mentioned that it “may have been finished,” and no assistance or solution was provided. In fact, there was no kitchen paper or napkins available at all — only toilet paper — which made cooking and cleaning up quite inconvenient. This was surprising, especially since the welcome message states that you are “not far away” and available for any issues. I also sent a message later that night asking whether the washing machine had a dryer function. I did not receive any reply — even by the time we checked out the next day. This made it difficult for us, especially since drying laundry is important when staying only one night or during bad weather. Additionally, the smaller bedroom is quite dark, with only a small interior window, which makes the space feel less comfortable.

Thank you Margaret, your apartment was absolutely stunning, clean and super comfortable. You had every appliance required. We were thrilled to be in luxury accommodation. This made my memorable breakaway with my daughters the best. Will definitely stay again, highly recommend.

Modern en luxe ingericht apartement/vakantiehuis met eigen garage. Erg netjes. Vlak bij het meer en op loopafstand van het centrum.

De tweede slaapkamer zou een airco kunnen gebruiken. Het zwembad vonden we niet zo uitnodigend, maar dat kan ook deels aan het slechte weer hebben gelegen. Het zag er wel heel netjes uit.

The close proximity to the town centre and an easy walk. The beds didn't slope which was a bonus. A secure carpark was very much appreciated.

As we stayed for 5 nights, it would have been wonderful to have a fridge- freezer combination. Only being able to have a fridge or a freezer made it difficult for home cooked meals and impossible to buy icecream.

The apartment was excellent in every way. The check-in instructions were clear, and the apartment itself was attractive, well-equipped and immaculately clean. Having an internal access garage is a bonus when the time comes to pack the car, especially if the weather is wet or windy.

I wish we could have stayed another night - I didn't have time to try out the heated pool!

The Apartment was very modern, loved the design & furnishings. The bathroom design was perfect . The beds were comfortable and blankets warm & cosy. Location is perfect, close to lake & town. I couldn't fault it.

Loved the location. Was great to have a garage! Smart tv meant we could use netflix. Plenty of space. Nice and warm. Kids liked the warm pool.

Only annoyance was the showerhead wouldnt stay at showering position, it would flop down and face the floor, or backwards which also didnt make it easy to shower.

Could not get sound on the TV. Dishwasher a bit difficult to understand operation.

From the parking to the underfloor heating in bathroom - everything was exceptional

The door code given was wrong, we rang telephone number as provided with no joy. Because of their voicemail we googled alternative number and were lucky with success. Otherwise we would have been stranded with no accommodation and needing to chase refund. Our understanding is owner overseas, pin provided had never been corrected.

I reckon the actual place is better than what the photos show. It was amazing. And your own garage was great. Was like a house. Pool was heated which our little one loved.

The facilities and amenities were first clas.

The property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had high quality appliances, the main living area had folding doors that opened up to a private outdoor area, the beds were the most comfortable that my friend and I have ever slept in and the en-suite between the two rooms was perfect. I was able to park my car in the private garage attached to the unit. We would happily stay here again and give this property the highest rating possible.

A lovely, spacious apartment that was close to town and a short stroll to the Lake. A nice pool onsite was a bonus.

There was no milk on arrival at the apartment although tea, coffee etc was supplied. There was no coffee machine. Other than that the apartment had everything needed for a great stay.

Location was good and close to a variety of restaurants and cafes as didn't plan on going far.

Had issues with the fridge/freezer unit as was set to Freezer and no instructions on how to change it. Also an issue with the blinds in the hallway and living space.

Very good property that comfortably accommodates 4 people.

The sun light in the bedroom made it impossible and bright for sleeping in the morning.

Large two story apartment with a garage to park in. We drove into downtown to eat, since recent knee surgery limited distance, but normally we would have walked. Shared bathroom is large and has an entrance from both bedrooms for easy access.

It was lovely and smart looking. Clean and modern, perfect size for 3 of us to stay in, and contact with the owner was easy to make, and they were lovely and helpful when I called. Great stay, would 100% stay again!!!

The design of the homestay is very fashionable and elegant. The kitchen utensils are complete. It only takes three minutes to walk to the beautiful Lake Taupo. The environment is quiet and beautiful.

There is a dedicated garage for parking, which is safe and convenient.
