Gracious Castle resort hotel in stunning grounds with so much to experience. Only stayed for one night but wish I had booked for 2-3 days. Offers golf, spa, walking trails, indoor thermal & pool area plus other outdoor activities. Dinner was excellent and breakfast extensive. Staff are attentive, friendly and respectful.
The staff and the services are outstanding.
The dinner with tasting menu was overpriced with dishes served too slow. The property is really not as accessible for handicapped as it could be but it is acceptable for such a historical building.
Like staying in a museum.
Construction took away from atmosphere.
Dining room dinner and service was Phenominal; Dennis & Staff. Excellent!!!

Dromoland remains one of the best hotels in the world. The castle is steeped in O’Brien history, the accommodations are sumptuous and the service impeccable. The bar was top notch and the meals perfectly prepared and presented. And the grounds are magical - what a delightful environment!
We all agree it was perfect
Food was delicious.Attention to detail was amazing.Staff were superb .Amazing location
Absolutely beautiful property. We will be back.
It is very expensive.
The attentiveness and professionalism of all the staff. Attention to detail is high
自然环境超一流,房间景观完美,服务很好,干净,高尔夫球场维护的很好,实在太美了,怎么拍照都拍不够。 The natural surroundings are absolutely superb, the views from the rooms are perfect, the service is also excellent, very clean, and the golf course is immaculately maintained – stunning; I just couldn’t take enough photos.

Breakfast was good. Castle located on huge Property. Great walking paths. Plenty of activities to do there. We dined in the golf club food was great. The rooms were spacious. Couldn't fault anything.
Everything was good.
The opportunity to stay in a castle, especially Dromoland, was a dream. The care and concern of the staff, combined with the level of comfort experienced at the facility, made for an exceptional stay!
No complaints!
Everything! The facilities are exceptional, the rooms large and comfy and the staff very attentive.
Nothing!
Amazing property. Gave the castle touch but with modern amenities and living space inside that was updated so we were very comfortable. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating to our needs especially with little ones of 5 and 2. Will certainly come back! Perhaps on a 2-3 night layover stay en route to another city given its proximity to an international airport.
Distance from the pool and fitness center to the main building
de wandeling in de tuin
de kamer is erg duur voor wat je krijgt. We konden geen spa boeken want er was personeels tekort en ook alle andere activiteiten waren volgeboekt.
Amazing experience, facilities & staff

The grounds were lovely. Room was comfortable.
Food was sub standard and very commercial. The full Irish breakfast was disappointing! The sausage or meats were spoiled and gave me diarrhea . I had to take a taxi to a pharmacy. Not happy experience.
It was a beautiful facility and the staff was so accommodating. The room was comfortable and set up as we requested - 2 twin beds for my daughter and me vs 1 king size bed. We were treated well and enjoyed things like valet, baggage handling and turn down service. Delightful!
It was expensive and then you had to pay for many other things while you were there. It was a splurge for us.
This was one of the most exquisite stays in all of our 40 years of traveling. Beautiful site, fantastic ambiance and the best staff we have ever encountered.

Lobby is small, not very comfortable
Excellent experience at Dromoland Castle! Beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, and a truly unique atmosphere that combines luxury with warm hospitality. Perfect for families and for anyone looking for a special stay in Ireland.

Everything. Absolutely perfect. Both staff and facilities were exceptional. Magical stay

Stunning! The staff were all exceptional. The rooms were beautiful and perfect.
Staff are so friendly and helpful
Food was good. Bedroom was really nice and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The Leisure Centre was a little disappointing. The Jacuzzi was small (fit 4 at a squeeze) and there was a longish corridor between changing room and pool (mostly changing rooms open directly onto pool area
What a place! :)
Wonderful restaurant /hotel with great staff
Everything was perfect. Everything
Just wonderful!!
Breakfast was great with a wonderful gluten free selection. The hot breakfast was fresh and they had delicious juices a great way yo kick off the day.
Couldn't fault anything.
Ancient building .
Staff falling over US guests ahead of others .
Breakfast was served in the main dining room. Buffet style with range of cooked breakfasts served to table. Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Spacious and light.
Food was expensive
Falconry was excellent
Great grounds , comfortable, lovely staff and top class food.
Nothing
Καλό πρωινό. Ωραία τοποθεσία
The grounds were spectacular, room was comfortable and staff was extraordinary. We did Falconry and that was a highlight for all. There are plenty of activities. Breakfast had a lot of options. the cocktails were some of the most elaborate and exquisite I have seen and tasted. It was a great stay enjoyed by all.
The pool was in a separate building and needed to be given a ride there. It wasn't too bad just required a little bit more planning.
Everything - it was a stunning stay.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dromoland. It had been a year since our wedding day in the castle and it brought back all the happy memories from our special day. This is our 4th stay and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
We loved the look and feel of the property, the staff were so nice and welcoming.
Nothing we loved it.
We were treated luke royalty! It was white glove service start to finish. The food was excellent, thr staff was warm ans charming, and it was like walking through a fairytale! They really rolled out the red carpet for us because it was our honeymoon. We were absolutely delighted with our stay!
We lived everything! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!
Staff exceptionally well trained, polite and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful!
loved the huge bed - best sleep ever! and the deep bath was a real treat :)
Beautiful! Staff was very friendly.
The grounds of the castle are stunning!
We have stayed at Ashford Castle for Easter last year and between the decorations and offer, it was priced less and offered more. I expected more from Dromoland for the price. 850 Euros for a Sunday night stay should include dinner at that price. For the money, go to Ashford!
We loved our stay here. The room was extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfast & friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more
We should have stayed longer! :)
Everything single thing
Friendly staff, amazing food!
This is the MOST amazing piece of Ireland! The people were absolutely incredible, the service at the top of the scale and the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the history made it a magical experience! You MUST go at least once in your life.
Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful castle and amazing staff.

Beautiful, great activities, friendly staff
No complaints!
My wife and I loved the hospitality.
Beautiful castle, room, gardens, total experience. Wish we had more time to enjoy all it had to offer. We did a 7 day trip through Ireland so we were quick to move to our next destination. My husband did get 9 holes of golf in and we used the fitness center and walked the grounds. It was all so beautiful! The breakfast was amazing. The full Irish breakfast and the French toast were delicious. The continental offerings were unique such as power kale smoothies, breakfast smoothies, yogurt parfaits, pastries, etc. Service was top shelf. I would highly recommend.
We ate in the casual restaurant when we arrived. We were sat next to another couple when there was plenty of room in the restaurant. That couple had an issue with their food having garlic in it when they had asked for no garlic. I believe it flustered our waitress and she did not put our order in. It took 45+ minutes to get a salad and a pizza and our waitress did not come over again - the manager brought our food. They did take off 30% but the whole thing was not what we had expected. The other couple also had friends stop by with lengthy loud conversations right next to our table. It just seemed odd that they chose to seat us there when the restaurant was relatively empty.
Exceptional on all fronts
beautiful property and amazing staff
nothing, it was perfect
It’s impossible to criticize Dromoland Castle and its superior staff! We celebrated our 50th- wedding anniversary here on the exact date of our marriage 50 years ago, when we also stayed here for part of our honeymoon. This nostalgic trip was met with such gracious treatment. The front gate greeted and congratulated us; the check-in staff in the lobby did the same. Our room was beyond our expectations (and also much improved over the 50 years)! We were upgraded to a beautiful corner room in one of the towers, with sublime views of the grounds. When do you ever hear the words,”Everything in the mini-bar and room is complementary”? Special 50th-anniversary treats in the room were such a nice touch. Breakfasts were fantastic, from the buffet to the cooked-to-order; traditional full-Irish breakfast and the shaksuka were delicious. Don’t miss the scones. Service in the bar was cozy, friendly, and prompt. Dinners at the Fig Tree were equally grand…along with the surprise dessert. Golf was excellent with a fine staff, a first-class course, and bag tag and tee perks. The best treat for me, while the husband golfed, was the falconry experience. Mike shared his passionate expertise with these birds, and interacting with falcons, hawks, and owls was unforgettable. Wish we knew the names of all the great staff who made this visit so memorable. Shout-outs to Aidan in the lobby, Mike the falconer, and all the outstanding members of Dromoland. Thank you for everything.
They gave me a room in the basement that smelled of mold. After I pointed out the bad smell, they tried to cover it up but they didn't solve the problem and they kept me in the same room that smelled bad. When I checked out, they compensated me with a 10% discount.
Historic yet super comfortable and beautifully maintained. Staff were very attentive and details/extra touches were impressive.
Loved everything
