Great staff, perfect place to spend the night, very safe and secure.

Very small place with two beds, didn’t make a lot of sense.

The place was clean and cozy. All the necessary conveniences were available. Definitely going back again

The environment Loved how friendly everyone was. Loved that the shopping Centre is a few minutes away. There was no problem when we arrived and left the place.

Pool was dirty Place was a little too small for 4 people. (no privacy) Yes I know it's self catering but toothpaste and soap would be nice as we sometimes just book in for the night or we come from a Dinner. Smoking areas needs to be designated. WiFi password Also all the channels or some of the channels can be paid for like Netflix, Prime or Disney etc.

The views was beautiful 😍 The staff was amazing Joseph came to our room on arrival to greet and meet us and he made us feel at home,the pool was relaxing and the area beautiful and clean. The rooms were clean as well.

The room.smelt like alcohol as if the ppl before us broke a bottle and they tried to clean it but left a smell but other then that the room was spotless. The one bed was comfortable the other bed was hard.

The Apartment was spotless and pristine, situated in a secure locale, boasting recreational spaces for children.

I absolutely loved my stay at this cozy little apartment! It’s beautifully maintained, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is small but very well designed – perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The host was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out super easy. I would definitely stay here again!

We were welcomed by Mr J and his son. It was easy to communicate with him and he responded kindly to our special request. Such a humane and humble soul. Our stay felt like home away from home. The property is clean, well taken care of, secure, and very close to amenities,also very suitable for a family. I would recommend it to anyone who needs accommodation in Cape Town,10/10.

Our stay at Cederberg Estate was nothing short of exceptional. The apartment was well-located, offering great amenities and a welcoming ambiance in Cape Town. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible hospitality of our host. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and at home. Not only was he attentive and kind, but he also took time out of his schedule to personally take us for breakfast in the city—driving us in his personal car. This was something we never expected but deeply appreciated. His generosity and warmth made our trip truly unforgettable.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the shower drain, as water took a while to go down, requiring a wait of about 30 to 45 minutes between showers. However, after bringing it to his attention, he acted on it in the most timely manner—demonstrating exactly the kind of hospitality and service one hopes to experience. This was a small inconvenience in comparison to the overall amazing stay we had. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Cape Town with a host who genuinely cares about your experience, Cederberg Estate is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Great place to relax

Compact yet clean, neat and very comfortable. Had everything that was needed for a night's stay-over. Host/owner was very informative, welcoming and helpful. Accommodation is in a safe area and has good security. Children enjoyed the play area and the pool.

4 people with 2 large towels and 2 hand towels. More towels would have been appreciated. a box of long-life milk would have been appreciated upon arrival. bathroom has frosted glass yet no further covering hence silhouette could be seen and made the ladies feel very vulnerable. Reported and owner offered a solution going forward which was great.

Value for money as we just needed a place to sleep for the night. Clean and Secure. Host very friendly and accomodating, no issues with checking in.

Connecting to people didn't feel like I was alone

I was amazed by the Netflix and the swimming pool. The flat we booked had a lovely view to the main road. Utensils in the kitchen was neat and clean.

The neighbors complained that we hanged our washing outside by the door over a washing rail, we were then confused as to where should we hang our wet clothes. We didnt even know the neighbor complained until security came to us.

The place is central to all tourist attractions in CPT. All of them around 30 - 45 KM. Easy with hired car. There is security and it is In a cool complex.

As we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our gracious host, Joesef. He was kind and courteous and had a lovely sense of humour. The property was conveniently located near the venue of the wedding we were attending.

Josef is an absolute gem of a host! He went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. This spot is officially my go-to whenever I'm in CPT. It’s cosy, sparkling clean, and perfectly located—close to the mall and just a stone’s throw from the airport. Bonus points for the vibe! If you’re after a place that’s affordable yet full of charm, this is it. Highly recommend!

It had everything we needed. Awesome location close to shops, you can walk if needed. Clean and secure. Joseph and Warren were simply amazing hosts and so kind and humble. Really enjoyed it. Although the storm it has a lovely play area for kids and swimming pool for summer time. Thanks for having us.

How we were welcomed and how safe it is

Thank you, Joseph! He was absolutely wonderful on our stay (two ladies and a baby). A lovely, clean apartment with all the amenities we needed incl. stove, big fridge, microwave, closet space etc. We especially loved the location as it's close to the Netcare hospital, convenient stores (Spar, coffee shops, petrol station etc.) and it's a safe and secure building. Joseph went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. We've stayed there x2 times, and will book again in the future. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Location close to a mall, petrol station, burger king. Very safe area. Quiet. No view but didn't need it. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with all we needed for our short stay. Joseph was a good host, very friendly and welcoming.

Pillows are too hard even though I'm not a fussy person but those were stiff pillows

There was nothing not to like.

The host Joseph was so welcoming and he drove us to most places we wanted to go. From going to the shops to buy food on arrival, dropping us off to where we were going the next day and driving us to the airport.

The friendliness of the host. Great service rendered. Location was perfect for travelling.

The fact that some delivery services did not count in the location. If arrangements can be made to add the estate to all delivery services, that would be great.

The hosts were exceptionally warm very ready to help and very open to ideas. They took their time off and drove me around showing me places of interest. I will forever remain grateful for the experience. I definitely will go back

The host was very kind and lovely. But the location is very bad and far from town like 30-40 minutes drive and Uber from there to town is 250 and above.
