Struttura accogliente e centralissima, 5 minuti a piedi dal city palace, posizione ideale per girare a piedi la città. La camera era spaziosa e pulita all’interno di un bel cortile. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Colazione dolce un po’ scarsa. L acqua per la doccia non arrivava calda . In camera entra luce ,per chi ha il sonno leggero può essere un problema.

Un ilot de calme au milieu de la frénésie d’Udaipur. Les personnel est attentionné. La chambre est joliment décorée dans un style vintage. Le lit est bon et c’était très propre. Prendre son petit déjeuner au calme dans la verdure avec un musicien traditionnel était un pur plaisir. Les repas sont frais et de qualité et dîner le soir dans cet endroit charmant était très reposant.

We had a wonderful stay. 🙏. The buildings are beautiful with loads of interesting details to look at. The pool looked great, but we didn't end up using it. The staff were plentiful and really friendly. I had several lovely chats. The tortoises🩷 The room was spotless, cleaned every day and beds were comfy. It's well located, just a short way away from the craziness of the centre. Amazing value for money.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. This is a small family run hotel and therefore won’t have all the facilities of a large multinational however there was nothing missing for us. Which is exactly what we wanted. We loved it and would definitely recommend it for a warm welcome and great location

We were coming to the end of our 1 month expedition through India. It was hot and I saw the picture of the pool and thought, Okay this could work - a bit of respite from the April Rajasthan heat. We got dropped off in the taxi and were met by the very friendly staff. We did the paperwork and walked through the lobby - Boom! a beautiful crystal clear pool! Our daughter - whom we surprised, was over the moon. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom was perfect. Modern and a great shower. The grounds were beautiful - grassed area around the pool to have breakfast or lunch/dinner. A cafe with great snacks, and a restaurant with great food. Now, like I said. We'd done a month in India and stayed in quite a few places but the Mahendra Prakash topped the lot. And it was very reasonably priced. It was like finding an oasis. I know I'm going on here but I've been to India 3 times - all over, and this is by far the best place I've stayed. The staff were very attentive and the owner and his family made us feel very welcome. If you need a place to stay in Udaipur, close enough to everything you need, but away from the hustle and bustle then this hotel is for you.

It is a beautiful property. Feels like home away from home. The staff is sweet, and you can find the owner around on campus most of the time making sure the property is well maintained. Breakfast was good too and though we were there in winter and the pool was not usable at the time, it looked clean and functional. The in house restaurant is a plus.

Just to note that the property does not have a lift. It is just 2 storey though, but if you have elderly travelling with you, request them for a lower floor room and you should be good.

This is an old mansion which has been restored and kept updated to meet modern living styles but yet has the old world charm, with very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms and attached bathrooms are adequate but small in size. The buffet breakfast was hearty with a good variety and food during dinner was well prepared and tasty.

The hotel is in the heart of the old city so while parking was provided inside the property space was limited to two to three cars. Not much can be done about this due to the location, so if one is driving his own vehicle better confirm about parking with the hotyel in advance.

Really lovely hotel with spacious, pretty rooms. We received a warm welcome in excellent English and felt valued customers The reception rooms are attractive with interesting vintage toys and photos. Breakfast excellent, supper very good also. Cake from the cafe an indulgence, do go to the counter to see the fish tank/well. Walkable to the palace, temple and lake so a good location.

Space in the bathroom a bit limited to stash one’s toiletries.

The property was very clean, and the ambience was peaceful and relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay here with my family. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. Would definitely love to visit again for staycation.

Beautiful family hotel in excellent location. It is a small oasis in the bustling city. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the courtÿard.

Breakfast was quite nice with friendly service. Self service for some food and omelettes on request. It is a lovely property with a swimming pool and garden area. Staff kindly provided breakfast to go as we had an early morning train which we really appreciated.

The weather was cool which meant the room and bathroom were chilly. A heater was provided. The rooms are a bit tired and due for redecorating. Rugs on the floor might have helped.

The Haveli is well situated close to the city pallace and the lake. The staff are courtiouse and helpfull. The room was clean and large. A heater was provided as we were there in winter. Breakfast was plentiful and they made eggs to order. The front desk went out of their way to help.

Hot water in the shoiwer was sporadic and it would have been lovely to have 2 chairs to relax in in the room.

W moim pokoju wieczorem nie było ciepłej wody. Personel próbował to naprawić, ale się nie udało. Natomiast ciepła woda pojawiała się rano.

Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Ontbijt en diner was prima. Veel keus en smaakvol klaargemaakt. Fijn dat vanwege heel vroeg vertrek, toch een ontbijtje meegegeven werd.

Omdat de kamer geen of weinig daglicht krijgt, oogt kamer beetje somber. Weet niet of dat voor alle kamers geldt. Is een zeer persoonlijke indruk.

We had a wonderful stay at Mahendra Prakash Hotel in Udaipur. The ambience is exceptional, with beautiful décor that creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee and cakes are outstanding, and breakfast was excellent throughout our stay. What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone was attentive and kind, but a special mention must go to Bupen, who was consistently warm and helpful, and Kuldeep, who took exceptional care of us when we were unwell and needed medical attention. Their compassion and professionalism went far beyond what we expected and made a difficult moment much easier. Overall, the combination of ambience, thoughtful design, great food, and genuinely caring staff made this a memorable and deeply positive experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return

It was a lovely peaceful, charming oasis in the busy city of Udaipur. The babbling tinkle of the fountain in the cool atrium was lovely to hear, and garden was a lovely place to unwind, with tortoises and a refreshing, deep pool. The food was delicious, and KD was such a great host. Thanks for everything!

There wasn’t a lot of natural light in our room, but, given that it’s a heritage building, we didn’t mind at all and it has loads of charm.

Es un hotel antiguo, pero muy bien cuidado y con la clase que hoy en día ya es difícil encontrar. Sin duda, lo volvería a elegir si volviera a Udaipur.

Aesthetics of the property. Very good heritage vibe.

My room was next to reception and entry point for all the guest. We could hear the noise all the time. The shower area should be improved as no place to keep toiletries. General cleaning should be improved as we found hairs on the floors after cleaning by staff.

Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen in sehr guter Lage. Geräumiges Zimmer zum ruhigen Innenhof, gute Betten, sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal.

Mischhahn für die Dusche funktioniert nicht : zu heiß oder kalt.

This was a great find - a quiet and tranquil place to stay, yet easy to walk into the centre (though the road is busy). We had two lovely rooms on the ground floor overlooking the pool, with an outside seating area. Breakfast was good and we had a delicious evening meal in the hotel. Friendly staff. Three wheeler to/from the centre cost INR 200, though at busy times it may be quicker to walk!

Nothing to do with the hotel - the road into/out of the centre is incredibly busy! We had to abandon the three wheeler we’d taken to the Bagore ki haveli show we’d booked otherwise we’d have been late!

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Even during the closing time of the restaurant we had to order and they were happily taking orders and serving us awesome food!

Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat einen schön angelegten Innenhof mit einem gepflegten Pool. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders Herr Kuldeep Singh am Empfang hat mit guten Tipps und Empfehlungen unseren Aufenthalt bereichert. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Restaurant könnte etwas Aufmerksamkeit durch das Management bekommen, besonders was das Frühstück betrifft.

My stay at the property was great. It is a well managed property. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are clean. The behaviour of the staff is also good.

Staff shared accurate information about tourist sports, availability of tickets, closure of parks, availability of local transport.

Breakfast could be much better and more water bottles should be provided.

Wir bekamen ein Update mit einem Zimmer im ruhigen Innenhof, nich weit vom Pool. Die Lage zur Altstadt wie auch zum angerenzenden wunderbaren Park ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück wie auch das Abendessen im Hotel war sehr gut und ausreichend.

Ein kleiner technischer Vorfall im Bad wurde sofort von umsichtigen Handwerkern erledigt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Mahendra Prakash. The hotel is beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. We loved the garden/ pool area for relaxing from the city chaos with the lovely coffee & cake place an added bonus. The buffet breakfast is a decent selection of Indian & continental and the restaurant serves lots of yummy options for lunch & dinner! All the staff were expectional, very polite and friendly. It was the perfect stay to end my parent in-laws month in India!

Hotel jest zlokalizowany w pięknym, zabytkowym budynku. Ma duży teren z basenem i ogrodem.Menedżerka oraz pracownicy są bardzo mili i pomocni. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, bardzo blisko do pałacu. Pokój był bardzo przestronny z dużym tarasem. Nie było słychać hałasu z ulicy.

Miałam duże problemy z płatnością, której transfer trwał bardzo długo i hotel chciał ode mnie dodatkowej wpłaty, choć pieniądze zostały pobrane już wcześniej. Wszystko się wyjaśniło ale było trochę nerwowo. Pokój wygladal jakby nie był używany dłuższy czas, wszystko było zakurzone. Było to studio z aneksem kuchennym (niedziałającym). Wystrój i umeblowanie wyglądało bardziej na mieszkanie niż na pokój hotelowy, dużo bibelotów, obrazków na ścianach i innych rzeczy, które powodowały chaos.

Lovely three night stay. Large, clean room was quiet. Location is good for the Palace although less so for restaurants. The property overall is attractive with the pool and pretty gardens towards the back of the property. Staff were very helpful.

L'emplacement est parfait pour les visites à pied. Tout était merveilleux, les.lieu, la qualité du lit, la gentillesse du personnel, les repas à toute heure ( ils m'ont même préparé un pique-nique et prêté un tapis!). Le jardin où l'on prend les repas est splendide et il y a un joueur de cythare pendant le petit déjeuner. Pensez a demander son Instagram. Service de pressing rapide et peu onéreux.

Aucune insonorisation, on entend les gens dans les couloirs et le jardin. Pas de ventilation ni de fenêtre dans la salle de bain, donc la chambre est ultra humide. Pas de frigo ni de coffre.

Petit havre de paix, relaxant à 500 mètres du City Palace. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu, très propre avec tout le confort nécessaire dans la chambre ainsi qu’un balcon, la literie est confortable.Le personnel est très agréable et disponible. Le PDJ était également sous forme de buffet avec du choix. Nous avions notre col très tôt le matin et le personnel nous a proposé un pdj à emporter.

Tout était parfait : de la chambre joliment décorée et dont la salle de douche correspond aux critères européens, jusqu'au jardin, un véritable havre de paix ou tortues, écureuils et oiseaux nous tiennent compagnie et dont la piscine est superbement décorée et super propre. Le personnel quant à lui et extrêmement serviable, aimable et compétent . Situation à 200m du City Palace. Je ne peux que vous recommander cet hôtel.

No glass barrier between shower area and sink - this caused sink area to be wet and can be slippery. The door for 1 of the rooms is a bit difficult to open.

Loved loved loved this place. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, pool and grounds were lovely, and the staff were wonderful. Feeding cucumber to the resident tortoises was an added bonus for our five year old. Fabulous!

This hotel is as charming and elegant as the landlady. The landlord has a strange feeling for humor and sometimes behaves as (and even looks like) one of the grumpy old men in the muppets show. 😁😉 This couple is a golden duo. It is the first Indian hotel (of many, many visited) where they know how to treat their guests right. Also the very first one that deserved a 10 out of 10.

The cab hired by the hotel was too shaky and molested. With 363.000 kilometers on the dashboard it was far from a comfortable ride.

This hotel is perfect and peaceful to rest after discovering the city. The service is great and people very sweet and helpful!

I didn't like the massage quality, but I think massages are actually not really a cultural thing like in Thailand so maybe that's why.

Friendly staff, the porter/cleaner was very helpful. Dinner was good at the hotel too, very nice garden/pool area. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily also at no charge if you liked. Laundry was returned in a day also
