WHAT I LIKED MOST WERE THE ROOM AND WASHROOM - VERY SPACIOUS, NEAT AND CLEAN. LOCATION IS VERY NEAR THE SEA AND SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE WAS IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THE HOME STAY OUT. THEY SHOULD SEE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE HARASSED. WE WERE VERY MUCH HARASSED TO FIND IT OUT.

Neat and clean stay. Location is closer to cliff. Good cooperation from staff.

Okna sa nedaju otvarat a vyhlad je na iny dom v bloku. Kupelna by potrebovala trochu viac vydrhnut. Ale je to celkovo indicky problem, my v Europe sa na ciste, pozerame inak.

Amenities, AC got broken (but they changed our room). It's really basic, from the room you get to the corridor that is practically already exit

Very nice and relaxed homestay. The hosts are friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. The room was clean and comfortable, with small useful things like a kettle, drinking water and access to a fridge. It has a calm, welcoming atmosphere and is a great place to stay if you want something more personal than a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily come b

The owner and the manager Akhil very customer friendly, the room is very clean and neat, it's on the cliff itself and best place and within budget. I have asked for a birthday surprise for my fiancee and they helped me out with the cake and flowers. I would definitely recommend this not only for helping me out with whatever i asked for but its also on the cliff and walkable distance to autostand and other necessities. I feel it's best than any other on the cliff. It's was very exceptional experience from this hotel. I didn't take any photos of the room but the photos that hotel are the same without any modification.

The place is really close to the north cliff, the host was super helpful, sorted out the rides, the rooms are big spacious and clean and the bathroom too, the stay is located in the center right behind all the bars, the terrace offers an amazing view of the beach, and you catch a really good sunset too

They could provide some good kerala food if possible, thats all Nothing major

Nice,clean and calm room..superb hospitality.....loved the stay...room was so comfy..shower area was provided with glass split as shown in pic. In terrace,we can have a nice sea view. Very near to cliff. Recommend this stay to all my friends...

honestly, everything was great for the prize! room comfy and clean, perfect location right behind the cliff walk and the staff was super dedicated, accomodating and nice. Definitely recommend and would stay here again! 🙏🏻

We had an excellent experience at Avanthi! We only stayed one night after our other hotel fell through and wished we could have stayed much longer. The rooms are immaculately clean and HUGE, very private, just a couple minute walk to the beach and they provided basic toiletries and fresh water and had the room ready for us very quickly when we had to rush over. Even offered a late checkout. Very grateful for this place, would definitely stay here again.

The ideal location for cliff and beach access with massive rooms and fantastic air conditioning. Staff was available 24/7 and not a single thing was an issue. Highly recommended for it location, value, and comfort. 10 out of 10 stay!

Bed very hard and sheets and duvet scratchy and itchy

Great place to stay in Varkala and have a great time. Location is great (50m to the main promenade). Room is very clean, bed linen is clean, shower is very big and comfortable. The place is very cozy. We would stay again in such a room. Mr. Akhil was always in touch, answered very quickly to any questions. He is very helpful and helps guests very well.

The staying was good, room is clean and all facilities inside worked as expected. Pay attention restoraunt on the rooftop is not working anymore, but if you search for freezer, it is there :) The location is very convinient just 20m to the walking cliff.

Nice big room with fan, ac and hot shower. The bed is a bit hard if you are ok with that. The room has a kettle as well. The location is perfect right near the Tibetan market and about 1 min to get to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The room I had did not have a glass the separate the shower and toilet as shown in the pictures. This should be updated when booking the room.

Nothing. It's a budget stay so temper your expectations accordingly . My room did not have sea view, but it's 20 steps away so not a big deal. The wifi is weak, will recommend the host to upgrade to hi-speed wifi. With the wifi provided, you can do basic browsing, but you won't be able to stream videos or take business calls.

The rooms were reasonably big, were clean, had fan and AC, water bottles and kettle provided. Great value for money. Excellent location very close to the cliff with all the cafes and market, walkable from the beach. There's a veg restaurant upstairs for quickly grabbing food as well. The manager Akhil was very helpful - got us medicine when we needed, arranged for auto and cabs, gave us references to surfing classes. We even got to check-in early when we reached in the morning and they kept our luggage for us after check-out.

There is no breakfast , but the location was awesome and very close to cliff and it’s just backside of the Homestay.

All service provided was good, and I felt the rent for the home stay is high , could have been reduced to normal .

The stay was very good, it was big enough for 2 people with all the facilities, the location is just 20m away from the cliff view, the varkala beach is just 5mins away. The rooms were very clean and the caretaker Akhil was very helpful , he arranged a rental scooter and dropped us to the bus stop on the day of check-out. The view for the sea from the avanthi restaurant is just beautiful.

The room is quite spacious and neat. Very near to the cliff. Can sea beach just after 50 meters. There is also a WiFi connection which actually works. The restaurant above is quite nice and the people are helpful there.

The caretaker is sometimes slow to reply. But still sweet. Our room wasn't cleaned the next day because we asked a bit late and the cleaning lady had gone by then. There is no tea or coffee that is provided.
