Zoe fue super amable y siempre estuvo pendiente, sugiriéndonos excursiones, medios de transporte, opciones para comer..etc. El desayuno muy bueno, con la excelente atención de Cecilia, que hace unos budines de campeonato, estaban exquisitos.

Una estadía hermosa e inolvidable. 🌟 El Schilling Hostel nos resultó muy agradable y está muy bien ubicado. No tenemos palabras suficientes para agradecer la amabilidad, calidez y permanente disponibilidad de todo el equipo para atender nuestras necesidades. Tuvimos además el lindo privilegio de ser las primeras huéspedes de la temporada. El hostel está muy bien calefaccionado, las camas son muy cómodas y todo se encuentra impecablemente limpio. La ambientación es muy agradable, con distintos espacios comunes y de entretenimiento que invitan a disfrutar y sentirse como en casa. También valoramos muchísimo contar con una cocina y comedor, donde se pueden preparar personalmente algunas comidas, algo muy práctico durante una estadía de varios días. El desayuno merece una mención especial: muy completo, variado y, sobre todo, con un horario muy amplio que nos permitió desayunar tranquilamente antes de comenzar nuestras excursiones. Nuestro mayor agradecimiento a Cecilia, Zoe y Marcia por hacer que nuestra estadía fuera tan cálida y especial. Nos llevamos un hermoso recuerdo de El Calafate y, sin dudas, esperamos regresar pronto. ¡Muchísimas gracias por todo! ❤️ Laura y Alejandra

Nos guardaron las valijas días después de nuestro hospedaje. Nos dieron buenos consejos de gastronomía local. Buen desayuno y buena opción de viandas (un lujo esos sanguches del bien)

Es demasiado caro para lo que ofrecen, las habitaciones son muy básicas. El desayuno era muy falto de opciones y tiene el peor café que he tomado. Para el pago tuvieron montón de problemas para hacerlo en USD por no tener cambio.

El hostal es muy bonito, con detalles como cuadros, libros, juegos de mesa, rompecabezas, áreas comunes. El comedor es amplio. Tiene un aire elegante en general. Tuve la suerte de tener un upgrade al mismo precio. La habitación privada es grande, con sitio para guardar de todo, baño cómodo, buena lencería. Salgo muy contento.

Muy buena onda del personal, muchas gracias por recibirme así. Las camas y las habitaciones excelentes y muy limpias. Y además el hostel está muy cerca de la avenida principal. Recomiendo 100%

Localização muito boa, dois quarteirões da área principal da cidade. Calefação muito boa, 2 graus de temperatura na rua e dava pra ficar só de shorts dentro do quarto. Café da manhã simples porém bom. Quando cheguei o quarto estava livre e me deixaram entrar no quarto umas 3 horas antes do horário de checkin. O chuveiro estava bem quente apesar de a vazão não ser das melhores e demorar um pouco pra esquentar

The property itself was lovely. The garden area was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy. The lounge room area was also great with a few choices of games. The breakfast had a lot of variety, and best one we have had so far. Room was big and well heated.

Kitchen was hard to use, shower was not good (pressure, temperature, and space!). The sheets smelt clean but there was hair around the pillows and in the sheets when we got there. At this price, we would expect better

Wir haben das Hostel für eine Nacht für die Weiterreise vom Flughafen in El Calafate ausgewählt. Das Team war super nett, zuvorkommend und top organisiert. Die Kommunikation lief super. Das Zimmer war eher einfach ausgestattet, hatte aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Positiv ist zudem die ruhige und zugleich zentrale Lage, Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sehr einfach. Dieses Haus lebt von den Leuten dort, alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Tolle Beratung zu Ausflügen und Buchungen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

O melhor hostel que já estive. Limpo, ótima localização, atendimento muito bom.

The team here are amazing, they gave us great advice on how to do the glacier ourselves, as well as had plenty of information on tours you could do.. The breakfast was great and our room lovely. They also have a good kitchen with everything you need to make a meal yourself. The location is also perfect, 5 mins walk to the town, and a 15-20 min walk to the bus station if you are doing the glacier yourself.

The sound proofing between rooms is really poor, I think this might be a thing in Calafate though, having seen a few buildings going up. But overall we loved this place, and would happily stay there again

Zentral und doch ruhig- nur wenige Gehminuten von der Hauptstrasse entfernt an der jede Menge Restaurants, Cafe‘s und Touranbieter sind. Zimmer hatte sogar einen kleinen Ofen den wir am ersten Abend tatsächlich gebraucht haben. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und mit relativ viel Auswahl.

Nur die heisse Milch hat gefehlt beim Frühstück für den perfekten Cafe con Leche 😉

Excellent location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were adequate.

A greater variety of food items with protein other than eggs, would have been great. For example, peanut butter. I brought my on jar of peanut butter and used it during my stay.

Room and bathroom were clean and comfy, heating works well. Great breakfast. Excellent location - two blocks away from main street and 15min walk to bus station.

The kitchen was a bit old and needs a microwave. You're not supposed to use it before 10am which means you can't make lunch in the morning before a day trip.

The hostel is in a good location and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well stocked so was great to cook meals!

We enjoyed everything this lovely, well located hostal had to offer. Our bedroom and private bathroom felt more like a hotel than a hostal. Loved the public areas - great murals, sofas that were comfortable and inviting and 2 outdoor areas to relax in. Breakfast was wonderful with eggs included?! Lovely! And the staff - Ramiro, Laura and Cecilia were absolutely awesome!!

The only thing we missed or would have wanted was a microwave in the kitchen.

The location was great, about two blocks from the main avenue. The hostel was amazing and well kept, with a nice common area and a very pleasant garden. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. Too bad I only stayed one night.

Las instalaciones son muy antiguas, el lugar da una sensación de vacío y de no querer quedarte allí. Nos dijeron que estaba lleno pero realmente solo tenía una habitación ocupada. No lo recomendaría.

Some breakfast items were only topped up as and when required so if you’re in a rush not everything would be available to you.

Hostello è posizionato sopra una collina vicino alla strada principale, lo staff è gentile e ti aiuta per qualsiasi esigenza. Le camere sono buone, ma un pò fatiscenti.

Proche de la rue centrale sans y être au cœur. Chambre très spacieuse. Petit déjeuner complet. Le personnel est très aimable et les espaces communs très confortable et chill. Nous recommandons !

Rooms were quite old and breakfast area was very disorganized. Bread in one corner of the room jam in another corner. Bowls in one corner of the room cereals in another so there’s quite a hike to do before u collect ur breakfast haha. Hopefully it can all be placed together for efficiency when most tour companies are trying to pick up guests by 7 am for the tours.

Super hostel, I wish we could have stayed longer and hang out a bit more. Fernando was very helpful and cool with all the local tips. Good location, just a quick walk away from the main street. Quiet for the night and warm, cosy room. The breakfast was nice, and the staff was very helpful with tips, arranging taxis, storing luggage. Would definitely come back!

para ser un hostal, es una excelente opcion, tienen un excelente desayuno, la opcion de la cocina tambien esta super bien, el hostal esta muy cerca del centro, perfecta ubicacion, y el personal muy amable, te explican todo y te atienden muy rapido. Me ayudaron a cuadrar el tour al glaciar, muy amables. Me encanto la experiencia.

Le système de chauffage au gaz à l’ancienne limite dangereux ! Les équipements sont un peu datés, une rénovation serait bienvenue. Le coût de la laverie: 8000 pesos pour 1 kg! Allez en ville à lava andina c’est une laverie pas chère !
