The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The room is tastefully furnished with all items needed for self catering in the limited space available. The balcony off the room is private, shaded by bushes. Martie is a warm and welcoming hostess.

Everything was excellent, and the best shower experience in a long time, not to mention that we travel extensively, and the showere still exceeded. Wonderful warn and friendly host, very good at communicating and meeting our every need.

Chocolate Orchid is a lovely little gem in White River. The garden is beautiful and makes the whole place feel peaceful and special. After a day out exploring the area, we had the boma all to ourselves and enjoyed the perfect evening around the fire with a relaxed braai. A really charming place to unwind and soak up the Lowveld atmosphere.

O quarto é aconchegante e bem decorado, limpo, com uma ótima cama e um banho quente excepcional! A cozinha é pequena, mas funcional. Ela tem todos os utensílios necessários para permitir fazer um lanche ou até uma refeição simples. O ambiente é silencioso, o que nos ajudou a ter uma ótima noite de sono.

Apesar de não ter interfiro em nada com nossa estadia, a piscina estava imprópria para o banho e deveria nos ter sido avisado com antecedência.

The place was clean a good place to book if you want a nice quiet place. If planning to stay longer it has a nice beautiful kitchen.

Beautiful tranquil property. Lovely cool, spacious unit with fans. Excellenty supplied kitchen with everything you could need. Nice HOT shower, all the rooms are separated with hedges to give you privacy and your own little private garden. Weber in garden.

Feels secluded and private.

The host Marti is one in a million. I love how she made me feel welcome even hours before I checked in. She is just an awesome communicator. Although I checked in very late, she still managed to give me a little tour of the place.......that made me feel valued.

The gardens are beautiful and the room is tastefully decorated. The location is good - a country vibe, within walking distance of great restaurants.

The disclaimer signs in the unit are a bit hostile. We were also told that the parking bays closest to the rooms are reserved for the operators - ie guests park further away, which feels a bit unwelcoming.

It was a cute place suitable for a small family. Loved the rustic feel and the nature surrounding the place.

Really nice place. Beautiful gardens. Clean comfy apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Private garden area. Lovely grounds with large wildlife pond.

All great but be aware no A/C (there are fans) so might be a bit hot in the summer for European based people like me.

The rooms are set in a garden environment, closest I could say to a Mediterranean layout, very pleasant, worth while stay.

Its a bird lovers paradise. Very clean, and the setup was perfect to provide privacy.

Very small thing bothered: we did not have sugar for our coffee. But we did not die. 😆

The room was perfect, a comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings. Waking up to the sound of birds and the ducks was precious. This is a little gem in White River. Marti and Johan made us feel at home, and they were very helpful when we had car problems. I will definitely go back, and I can't wait for my next stay

It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and beautiful, with so many facilities Except for a few loud morning birds everything was absolutely wonderful.

Marti is a wonderful host. Lovely setting of B&B. Comfortable stay.

Fabulous hosts, very accommodating, friendly, professional and generous. Thank you Marti and her wonderful daughter Megs. Huge, old avocado trees, beautiful bird life and very private and comfortable accommodation make this a place I would happily stay at again.

I wish the Blue room had a hairdryer, but aside from that no complaints.

It was beautiful and stunning and the decor and gardens very thought through

it wasn't thorough or functional for an international traveler. It needs charging stationS. It needs each bed to have mosquito nets not just 1 bed. It needs better cooling systems ... not necessarily air cons but fans. Marti was so helpful in getting extra fans but cooling needs to be considered. Sorry it's so beautiful but I was a bit frustrated.

There was no signage at the property (except for the property number) which saw us drive past there. With it also being at night, it was a task in trying to see where we were going on the gravel road

Very friendly service and beautiful rooms. So surprised by the little kitchen having all the items you forget and full sized coffee cups!

I like the fact that they provide coffee and milk for you.

Wish they could serve breakfast. The room I booked, bathroom was very far from the bedroom, long walk at night.

The privacy of the cottages is amazing, love that we had our own space but could still enjoy the beautiful property and amenities. Was really helpful to be able to fully cater for ourselves, most self catering places don’t have cooking facilities.
