Peter met us at the cabin and made us feel at home. My son loved Patch the dog.
Everything was perfect

Really lovely cabin in great condition. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Peter was very helpful, very friendly and easy to deal with. His very friendly and gentle dog paid us a visit in the morning.
Nothing to complain about
The host Peter was there to meet us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Stayed for 1 night and definitely will be back it was so peaceful and relaxing. The double bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed in the cabin which was great 😃
Great stay with everything you needed

All you could need for a comfortable stay and a lovely quiet location. Welcoming hosts and a doggy. Couldn’t do enough to accommodate us, and they recommended a beautiful restaurant (the Kilbery) just 15 minutes down the road that was well worth the journey. The food was amazing

Location was great and easy to get to. Great value for money. Host was lovely. Very friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable.
We loved it and will be back with family.
If I could give 11 stars I would as this place was amazing Peter, is an exceptional host, the cabin was spotless great value for your money Cozy cabin for myself my fiance and the three kids Everything you need is there Peter has thought of it all Can't wait to stay again 😊
I couldn't find a thing this place is amazing ❤️
Lovely location on a working farm. Well placed for touring the area.
Described as 2 bedrooms but one is the living area. Not a lot of space for adult bodies and very very hot in the sunshine - as you can guess from a metal tin building but it was impossible to cool it down enough to sleep well unfortunately.
Super
Perfect cosy place with everything you need

Its a very lovely and quit place to be, Peter and his wife are two very nice people, you can ask them everything, we were there for a 2 day wedding, and peter brought us both days, nothing you asked was to much, if we have to be in the neighborhood in the future, we will stay with them again. We will not forget Patch the dog ,our friendly playmate. Greeting from Holland.
Niks
Very friendly host, everything required for our stay was provided. Very comfy beds. Could not fault anything.
Peter was a great host who greeted us upon our arrival and personally took us up to the cabin. He stayed a bit to give us some helpful information, and we really enjoyed chatting with him! The cabin is small and cozy. Our family of 5 was comfortable during our stay. We loved playing with Patch as well.
Beautiful location in the middle of the country
Nothing loved it
We were attending a local wedding, so unfortunately we didn't spend much time in the cabin. Beds were comfortable and it was warm and cosy. Overall we were very happy.
I would have loved if there was a little Carton of milk in the fridge so I could have had a cup of tea in the morning before we left. But otherwise everything was beautiful
Lovely cabin it met all out needs as 2ad 2 ch! Would definitely return!!
Warm and cosy. All we needed for a short stay. Beautiful setting in the country. Kids loved playing football with lovely Patch the dog!
Small space
Great value for money and cabin was clean and warm and good space and peaceful. Peter and patch were friendly and Peter gave great information on places near by
We couldn't stay longer but we will return
Wyjątkowy klimat.
Wszystko było w porządku
Peter met us at the property. An easy handover. A comfortable stay for the night! My children loved the cows and Patch the dog! I’d recommend the property.

A lovely location in a cosy retreat in the heart of the countryside.
Easy to find, so welcomed by Peter and Patch. Situated in the countryside, peaceful and yet close enough to facilities. Everything you would need and more. Homely and comfortable.
Nothing all perfect.
We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.
Nothing at all. Everything was just right for us.
Cozy and well equipped cabin surrounded by an outstanding landscape. Super nice staff. Highly recommended.
Peter the hoost was excellent
Un cadre magnifique pour un logement agréable et bien aménagé
Nice and cosy, clean cabin with all we needed. Comfy beds and Patch the dog a welcome visitor to play ball with the kids!
Peter and his dog Patch were lovely! Very comfortable stay and family friendly. Beautiful location but you will need a car to get around as very rural. Not far from the local town.
Wunderschöne und ruhige Lage. Die Aussicht ist toll! Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist wunderbar. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir gerne länger.
Beautiful setting. Peter was lovely and very helpful.
A really lovely property that had everything we needed - really comfy beds and tea and coffee provided. Very peaceful and quiet area. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Peter was a great host and took time to show us around the property and was really helpful in allowing us to check in early. Highly recommend Rathgillen Cabin!
Lovely location, the host was fantastic and the cabin was great. It’s a little out of the way, so id advise to drive or rent a car if you’re staying here. Nothing but good things to say about the place. The hosts dog is also a lovely little chap.
The cabin was so cosy and comfortable. Everything you need is there . It's a great place to go and switch off from the world for a bit . Only stayed one night but would definitely go back . It's lovely been surrounded by fields and animals.
Very clean, great country view
Nothing it was fantastic
The property was lovely and cosy and the facilities within were perfect and everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Peter was lovely and welcoming and we will be back!
My family and I stayed here while we were attending a wedding. This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The cabin is so cozy and has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. My daughter loved watching the wild bunnies playing in the field. There was a lovely border collie who came for cuddles and to chill out under the deck of the cabin. The owner, Peter is such an amazing person. He came up to the cabin in the middle of the night when my parents accidentally blew a fuse in the cabin due to the kettle. He refused to leave us without electricity or a working kettle in case my daughter needed hot water for her bottles. So not only did he fix the fuse he also arrived on with a new kettle for us. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay or owner. Highly recommend especially if attending events near kingscourt or cabra castle.
everythink .. such a lovely seen
THE Serenity and beauty of the location. Stunning.
All was idyllic.
It was clean and cosy and the host was an absolute gentleman, wishing Peter the best.
A little bit far out from the closets towns or the castle if you don’t drive so it can be trickier to get to but we were fine as we had a car.
Cosy cabin with everything you would need. Peter is an excellent host

It was a lovely location to stay.. very quiet and private.
Nothing. Everything was great
Everything was perfect. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend it. I would like to visit again.
After a long day hiking in the mountains we were thrilled to arrive at Rathgillen Cabin. Very cosy and comfortable we had a great nights sleep.
Nothing to dislike
Beds were extremely comfortable, very quiet. Nice area and lovely hosts. Hosts were very accommodating as I requested late check-in. Waking up and being greeted by one of the friendliest dogs who loves belly rubs.
Cannot say a bad thing about the place it was great value for money and location was perfect for the activities planned.
Quiet, warm and homely
I couldn’t fault the property, maybe get the correct wood knot covering paint for the ceiling to cover the wood knot marks coming through the paint. To people that wouldn’t know what they were, they may think it was mould and give this property a negative rating which it does not deserve
Not a lot really.
It was billed as a two bed appt but in reality it was one bedroom with a second double bed in a already cramped space. It just spelt meanness to me. It was very dusty in the bedroom. Rethink this one ❗️could be perfect if your honest and call it as it is.
Nice and quiet place. Very comfortable beds. Thanks you very much 😊

The place was lovely, Peter was very friendly and helpful
Host (Peter) greeted us on arrival, very friendly and engaging, and we loved interacting with border collie Patch. Peter even took us up to the hilltop ring fort on the property to take in the view. The little cabin was tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Would happily stay again.
Everything, a wee gem in the countryside. Fully equipped, pristine, and Peter, our host was a gentleman. A fantastic, cosy find for our family in an idyllic setting. Thank you Peter. L

Beautiful place everything we needed and more clean and safe place for children to play outside
The cabin was lovely. So cute. Really pretty and clean. Had everything you would need. Would have happily stayed and lived there😀
Nothing.
Lovely, tranquil location. Although compact, space was really well used and everywhere was immaculately clean.
This charming little cabin is set in a working farm. It’s amazing and quiet. I loved coming in every night to the peaceful environment. We loved the host he was so accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our vacation.
I can’t honestly think of anything that I would change.
Location is great if you going to an event at cabra castle. It was clean apart cutlery and plates wasn’t very clean. Love the dog and other animal around.
Curtain in the front door is too thin and give us no privacy.
