Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Das zweite Mal hier nach knapp 1,5 Jahren und man hat mich wiedererkannt. Die Zimmer mit Balkon und wundervollem Ausblick sind blitzblank und mit allem was man sich wünschen kann ausgestattet. Das Essen, insbesondere die Abendessen im Kaiseki-Stil sind sehr lecker und in einer Qualität die man kaum irgendwo anders bekommt, insbesondere das OHMI Beef und der Biwa Trout. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit trotz manchmal leichter Sprachbarriere. Besonders dankbar und erfreut waren wir über die nette und aufmerksame Bedienung bei den Abendessen von Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, die sich alle drei Abende um uns gekümmert hat. Danke - ich hoffe auch ein drittes Mal wiederkommen zu können.
Leider sind die Flure etwas hellhörig (oder die anderen Gäste auf unserer Etage waren sehr laut).

A special shoutout to Tanaka-san at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us when we had an urgent matter. He personally contacted a restaurant in Kyoto on our behalf to manage a last-minute cancellation and kindly negotiated to waive the cancellation fee. His proactive, caring, and professional assistance took so much stress off our shoulders. Exceptional service and true omotenashi—thank you so much, Tanaka-san! Highly recommended.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Chambre moderne, spacieuse avec une vue magnifique sur le lac. Belle piscine extérieure. Dîner excellent. Personnel très gentil. Bains publics très beaux mais attention il faut être nu et ils ne sont donc pas mixtes. Parking sécurisé attenant à l’hôtel. Nous recommandons !

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026從check in就能感受到服務非常仔細又親切，尤其在吃晚餐時，因為我的家人進食較不方便，我們有自己攜帶食物剪刀，但服務人員仍幫忙請廚房把食物切小塊，連第二天吃晚餐時也主動記得要切小塊。
附近沒有什麼商店，要去其他地方的話，交通也稍微不方便，但飯店有接駁車，叫uber也都10分鐘內會來。

不満では有りませんが、ウエルカムドリンクや夜食の準備があり、サービスを受けることは出来るのですが指定の場所まで足を運ばなければなりませんでした。他の所では全て客室まで運んでくれたところも有り、その印象から少し残念に感じてしまいました。

It’s clean, it’s comfortable, the staff is amazing (hotel manager please give them a raise!), the food served is delicious, the view is incredible, the bath experience is perfect. 宿泊は2階で、部屋に入るとすぐにトイレの下水のような強い臭いがしました。窓を開けて換気してもその臭いは消えず、バルコニーから室内に入っても強く感じられました。

La beauté de l'hôtel, le calme, la gentillesse du personnel, le professionnalisme de Miyoko qui était très à l'écoute de nos demandes. Les repas étaient incroyables ( le master chef Maeda Yoshihiro a adapté nos repas en fonction de nos allergies). Le plus incroyable se sont les bains onsen extérieurs qui donnent directement sur le lac, un endroit de rêve on ne peut pas faire mieux !

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, especially with the use of fresh local ingredients. The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view—you could look out over Lake Biwa all day. I only stayed at the resort for one day and wish I had more time to explore everything it has to offer. There are great facilities, including a basketball court, tennis court, and inviting common areas. It’s also an excellent place for families, with plenty of kid-friendly amenities, even for toddlers.
The location isn’t the most convenient for travelers who don’t drive, but I believe there is a shuttle bus available.

If I were to voice a tiny complaint, the bath, while offering gorgeous views of the lake, was a bit on the small side. However, that complaint is miniscule in comparison to the other wonderful qualities of this hotel.

The hotel staffs wearing cute Christmas outfits greeted us from afar in a cold and snowy day while our car was driving towards the hotel’s entrance. Check-in process was very nice and smooth. We were taken to our rooms and were explained in detail about the hotel’s offering. Special credits went to Kawaguchi Miyoko 川口美代子who had treated us so well with the hospitality she has offered us. We enjoyed our stay immensely. When we checked out, staffs helped with our bulky bags and loaded them to our car. They even waited in the cold weather and waved goodbye to us until the very moment when our car actually pulled away from the hotel. Their attention to details in making us feel very special. We will definitely come back again for more!

全て本当に良かったのですが、夕食の量が少なく足りませんでした。ご飯は普段あまり食べないのですが、美味しかったのと、まだお腹が空いていたのでおかわりしてしまいました。食材は良い物を使用されていると思うのですが、もう少し量を増やして頂きたいです。

We didn’t have dinner included in the package so we had to find an external restaurant locally. Would have been nice if the hotel provided more dinner options.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026レイクビュー、彦根城も見ることができ、気持ちがよく最高のロケーションでした。 夕食もよかったですが、朝食が充実していました。 温泉の大浴場、1階や10階のラウンジ、綺麗な芝生、夜食のサービス、子連れへの配慮がよかった点です。 また、帰りは素っ気ないホテルも多いですが、こちらは大勢のスタッフさんでお見送りしてくださり、料理長様まで 写真撮影やお見送りをされていて、驚きと共に、温かい気持ちを受け取らせていただきました。

The rest area was spacious and bright as it faces the lake. All the rooms on the high rise building were facing the lake. Our room was clean and spacious with a tiny outdoor hot bath which was excellent to enjoy the sunset and night view of the lake. Dinner was excellent, with fresh beef, seafood and good varieties of Japanese dishes.
