Shinestar Villa Mirissa

We had a wonderful stay at Shinestar Villa Mirissa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The villa is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. One of the highlights of our trip was the whale watching experience, which was absolutely unforgettable. The location of the villa made it very convenient to access these excursions. A special mention goes to the caretaker, Deepal, who was extremely kind, helpful, and supportive throughout our stay and that we were well taken care of. Overall, the villa offers excellent value for money, combining comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.

Property is in good location, good space. Host Sameera is very genuine , we wanted to cancel our last day stay because is power issues he said he will not charge anything which shows his importance to visitors comfort and opinion.

Power back can improve the facility, when we stayed there is 4 hrs power cut during night which bit disappointed.

We had such a lovely stay at Shinestar Villa! It’s close to Mirissa Beach just a short walk. The house is clean, the rooms are air-conditioned and comfy, and the beds were perfect after a long day out. We even saw peacocks wandering around the garden, which was such a treat! Deepal, the caretaker, look after the garden & very supportive to us. Sameera was amazing he helped us organize whale watching and snorkeling, which were absolute highlights of the trip. Everything felt easy and well taken care of. If you're looking for a clean, quiet spot near the beach with great hosts and a touch of nature, Shinestar Villa is a great pick. Would definitely come back!

Great location, walking distance to the beach but still a little bit out of the way enough to be quiet at night time. All bedrooms with AC. Deepal the caretaker is a funny guy and clearly takes a lot of pride in maintaining the area. We enjoyed his presence. The beds were really comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep every night.

As much as our group really enjoyed the property, for me personally as a 6”5 man (194cm) I was ducking through doors and hit my head multiple times. The house doors and beams are built below worldwide standard of at least 200cm and therefore I didn’t feel as comfortable as I would have hoped.

Great place! A 3 bedroom villa, Great for families and groups of friends. Location is 4 minutes walk from the beach, though it is in a quiet area. don't miss a visit to A++ restaurant. Each room has double bed with mosquitoes net and AC, and private shower and toilet. Everything is clean and well maintained. Rooms are big so you have space for luggage and some even have tables for working or reading. The living room is big and the citchen is well equipped. There is also a washing machine. The villa comes with a housekeeper that helps with everything and keeps the large garden clean and blooming, he will also direct you to the best beaches around and best hours to go there. The owner is nice and helpful with surroundings attractions. It's clear the he thought about everything that could make us feel comfortable, even the smallest thing. In a nutshell, this place is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely little oasis in Mirissa. Beautiful garden, full of birds, peacocks and Monkeys in the morning. Owner and caretaker very attentive and helpful. Close to Mirissa beach, great for body surfing. The nearby hotel could deliver meals, great, as we had a baby with us. and invited us to swim in the hotel’s pool. Comfortable beds and hot showers.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful welcome drink to refresh us. The location is ideal, situated just a short walk from Mirissa Beach and other local attractions, particularly whale watching. This made exploring the area both convenient and enjoyable The rooms were very clean, and I was particularly impressed with the comfortable bed. The caretaker was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. It is a true gem that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway. I look forward to returning and creating more wonderful memories!

We styayed for a night.. The property itself atranged for whale watching.. Luckily we got to see both whale n dolphin.. Opposite they have restyarant also.. Overall good experience

It was such a relaxing experience. The place has a calm vibe, surrounded by greenery, and the beach is just a short walk away, which was a huge plus. The staff were friendly and quick to help when we asked to change the beds, making things easy for us. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to unwind, this place is worth checking out.

We were impressed with the Villa and its location, which provided a perfect retreat situated within a short distance of the beach. The home was clean, well-equipped, and offered a very private, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. The terrace was fantastic for relaxation. We had an Asian breakfast, which was excellent. The owners were very welcoming and we would definitely use this accommodation again with no hesitation in recommending it to others.
