Die Matratze war sehr weich.

Tout, l’accueil et les renseignements donnés avec beaucoup de gentillesse et en français. La chambre très coquette avec de belles attentions entre autre un petit déjeuner très simple et offert gracieusement. L’emplacement de la maison sur une place très calme et face a la mer dans cette merveilleuse cité de Monemvasia.

Rien tout était parfait

The building was a beautiful converted 500 year old monastery, in a fabulous location at the far end of the island, with the quirks that you get with an old building - but that did not excuse the shower...

The rain shower was completely clogged up and did not work, the hand shower could only be fixed at waist height so it was impossible to have a decent shower without getting water everywhere. The plug in the bath did not hold water properly either. I raised this to the owner/manager but was told that I should expect this from a 500 year old building with salty water. There was plenty of hot water and they just need to fix the attachments - i think this was a case of the owner/manager not having actually used the shower or bath in our room. Disappointing....

What a stunning guest house in an equally stunning place! The walled city is incredible as it is but to sleeping here, in a 600 year old building was magical. The room was spotless with a very comfy bed and excellent facilities. The owner is so welcoming and handed us fresh lemonade upon arrival. We slept perfectly with the sound of the waves outside our bedroom window.

Beautiful building, gorgeous location, very friendly staff

Sat in the medieval village I had a corner room and a beautiful sea view. The bed was very comfortable. Though it did not provide a free breakfast, they had a tea, kettle refrigerator, espresso maker, and treats left in the room that we all complement. They also let me drop my bag off while I explored. They also let me check in about 45 minutes early. And they gave free water.

The Internet was either nonexistent at times or very slow, strangely it was strongest at night and then disappeared in the morning. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, but if the little covers over the sewers were left in place it was almost un noticeable also the water never really got warm.

Outstanding. One of my favourite places on my trip this August. The room was clean , comfortable and had lots of extra things , snacks , wine , water etc. it’s situated at the end of the castle area in a peaceful and beautiful spot , it was perfect. The staff are just great - friendly and helpful really lovely to see. I would rate the Accomodation , Staff and Apartment as outstanding. Of course Monemvasia is just stunning.

Υπέροχο δωμάτιο σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία! Πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και προσεγμένο. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικός και φιλόξενος, ενώ μας βοήθησε και με τις βαλίτσες κατά την άφιξή μας. Μια εξαιρετική επιλογή που σίγουρα θα προτιμήσουμε ξανά!

Το δωμάτιο είχε όλα όσα μπορούσε να παρέχει. Άνεση, αν και θα το ήθελα λίγο πιο μεγάλο, ησυχία, καθαριότητα. Μπορούσαμε να φτιάξουμε ένα πρωινό με τα απαραίτητα.

Bella stanza perfettamente situata nel centro storico di Monemvasia. Accoglienza perfetta, bottiglia di vino offerta, buoni consigli.

Monemvasia è molto turistica. Per fortuna la stanza non è situata nelle vie più percorse.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce superbe établissement qui est un ancien monastère transformé. Superbe expérience !

De locatie was top. Het appartement is heel ruim met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers en een ruime woonkamer. Schoonmaak iedere dag, waarbij ook water aangevuld werd. Ontbijt box met crackers en cakejes zijn goede start van de dag.

De vering in de matrassen waren goed voelbaar. Het zijn 2 2-persoons matrassen. Voor de kinderen had ik liever 2 lossen bedden gehad of losse lakens, maar ze hebben zich er mee weten te redden.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Super speciale plek om te verblijven.

De kamer had hoge vochtigheid

La colazione non era compresa ma in camera c'era tutto l'occorrente per poterla fare in autonomia. Come omaggio ci è stato offerto anche dell vino locale. Kit di benvenuto presenti in camera come un vero albergo.

Όλα μου άρεσαν! Μια σύσταση μόνο! Χρειάζεται μια ανακαίνιση σε καποια μπάνια! Στο δωμάτιο των παιδιών μου δεν χρειαζόταν!

A unique accomodation in a unique place. The room was lovely and spotless clean. Everything is very well maintained, considering that the hotel was an old monastery, I think over 400 years old. The surrounding area is very quiet, but also a couple of minutes from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. The staff was very polite and helpful, they made us feel welcomed the whole stay.

Όλο το δωμάτιο ήταν ακριβώς στο στυλ του Κάστρου αλλά το κρεβάτι ήταν το πιο απίστευτα άνετο!Ήταν πραγματικά από τους πιο όμορφους ύπνους που έχουμε κάνει ποτέ! Υπέροχη θέα στην κεντρική πλατεία και το πρόσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Αξίζει να το επισκεφθεί κανείς και μόνο γνωρίζοντας ότι σε αυτό το μέρος γεννήθηκε ένας τόσο σπουδαίος ποιητής!

Ήταν όλα πολύ ωραία. Το δωμάτιο πολύ καθαρό και είχε τα πάντα. Μου έκανε εντύπωση που είχε και οδοντόβουρτσα, οδοντόκρεμα, μπατονετα και βαμβάκι. Όλα προσεγμένα και περιποιημενα. Επίσης, η κυρία που ήταν στη reception πάρα πολύ καλη. Ευγενική και πρόθυμη χωρίς να είναι υπερβολική.

Tutto! Innanzitutto Monemvasia è bellissima, un posto da sogno, e l'alloggio si trova in un antico convento situato su una piazzetta con chiesa vicino alle mura con vista sul mare, una meraviglia. La proprietaria infinitamente gentile ci ha accolto con ogni riguardo, la stanza era bella e comoda, con mobili in legno antichi, aria condizionata silenziosissima, La colazione non è inclusa ma in stanza c'è tutto il necessario per farla, anzi decisamente più del necessario, e la si puo consumare ai tavolini in piazza o nel retro. Acqua e brocca di vino di cortesia. Vale davvero la pena!

Lovely, clean and unique. These rooms are in the former monastery at the far end of town. There is a church and square outside of the guesthouse that feels almost private at night. The stars were lovely. We appreciate all the free bottled water. The room itself was adorable, clean and functional. We absolutely loved it.

The location is very pretty and unique staying within the castle walls. The guesthouse has a lot of character. Complimentary water, tea and coffee and wine which is a nice touch. There is a little simple seating area outside the guesthouse and it’s very close to the shops and restaurants. We would recommend it, as very good value. We got the economy room rate of €100.

We booked the economy room which was a little dark and small. The bathroom was very small but the room had a lot of character and we had a very comfortable stay for one night.

Very characterful and great location to explore Monemvasia and was quiet.

Krásně zařízený pokoj v historické budově bývalého kláštera, venku posezení pod stromy s výhledem na jeden z mnoha místních kostelíků. Součástí pokoje je vše potřebné pro dobrou snídani - kávovar, varná konvice, čaj, káva, suchary, sušenky, croissanty, džus, voda, med, marmelády, máslo v lednici atd. Jako dárek jsme dostali karafu bílého vína. Monemvasia je nádherná, doporučuji zde přespat nebo strávit večer. Ochotný personál. Moc se mi zde líbilo, určitě bych si příště opět ubytování v Guesthouse Kellia vybrala.

Při našem pobytu před dvěma roky se zde dalo parkovat po kraji silnice směrem nahoru k bráně do města, letos bylo vše uzavřené kvůli práci na silnici, takže doprava jen pěšky nebo nahoře vyložit zavazadla a hned odjet na dolní parkoviště. Nahoru je pak možné se svézt shuttle busem za cenu zpáteční jízdenky 6 euro za dvě osoby. S tím pronajímatel nic neudělá, jen na to raději poukazuji.

Really, really, really nice people. So kind and helpful. The instructions that they give in their shop to find the hotel are so useful. Make sure that you go there first then return later for the really interesting wine tasting that they include as a fantastic free extra. The location of the hotel is wonderful overlooking the little church. It really is a little piece of heaven. The items provided for breakfast - and the free wine - were a really nice touch and much appreciated.

The bathroom could really do with some refurbishment. Anywhere else I would have deducted a mark for this, but everything else was so special that I just had to give it a 10. We loved it!

Stunning location inside the Monemvasia castle. Beautiful traditional building, great views, lovely staff. They leave a bottle of local wine in the room — a lovely touch. They also own a shop with local products worth checking out. Room is small but charming, has everything you need, and is very clean.

They leave basic products in the room as there is no breakfast service but no gluten-free options, though that's a general Monemvasia thing, not just the hotel.

Lovely guesthouse away from the main gate, which made it a bit more peaceful and it was very easy to access Portelo Beach for a cooling dip. The room was a good size and very comfortable. A special thank you must go to the owner's son who was incredibly helpful when my husband fell and sprained his ankle - he ordered a taxi for us and got ice instantly onto the sprained ankle, which assisted greatly. We would definitely stay there again.

Second time staying here and enjoyed it very much. Lovely place in Monemvasia and the hosts were fantastic and welcoming. It's a beautiful place to stay and the location in Monemvasia is peaceful but close to all amenities.

The municipality had someone strimming dead grass around the property in the morning on both days and this was rather loud to wake up to.

Chambre charmante, propre et confortable. Bonne localisation. Le personnel a été adorable. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de petit déjeuner proposé mais il y avait tout de même des choses offertes en chambre pour compenser.

Un meraviglioso struttura che offre servizi di altissimo livello. La Colazione la trovate in stanza e potete farla direttamente fuori sul vostro tavolino. Le camere sono fornite di tutto l occorrente caffè italiano e tutto il resto. Le Camere sono bellissime, arredate con cura e hanno il kit bagno completo(ciabattine, spazzolino dentifricio, cuffia) all arrivo troverete un bel Malvasia ad accogliervi. Le asciugamani profumano di pulito..il proprietario è stata una persona deliziosa. Inoltre potrete usufruire di una degustazione offerta dalla struttura. Wi fi ovunque. Altamente consigliata. Posizione strategica.

The accommodation was an absolute dream to stay in, and the staff were just so friendly and informative. Really easy going people who were willing to help at any time of the day. This is the most beautiful accommodation I've ever stayed in!

Dejlig seng, gode puder. Vand på værelset. Historiske flot i stand satte værelser. God bruser. Dejligt roligt område.

Badeværelset er ikke lugter indelukket. Det ligger langt inde i borgen, det er bøvlet med parkering og bagage, men det vidste vi godt.

Situat en un extrem del poble de Monemvasia, lluny del suroll, amb una explanada al devant i el limit de la muralla i el mar. Diverses classes d'habitació. La nostra, la més economica, suficient. Productes de benvinguda i una ampolla de vi per si vols fer un mos al exterior amb les taules a la leva disposició. Perfecte!

El bany massa petit i senzill. Com no són permesos els cotxes dins del poble, val la pena contractar el servei que et portin les maletes (5/10€). Carrers revirats, costeruts i amb lloses que rellisquen

Our room was spotless and comfortable . We had a great outdoor balcony with excellent sea views Breakfasts were amazing and set you up for the day . Parking was handy across the road from the front of the hotel . It’s a short walk into the village with it’s restaurants and small shop ,

Firstly, the staff that run Guesthouse Kellia are fabulous. They are all so friendly and go out their way to greet you and have a chat with you, making you feel like one of the family. The room we booked was spacious and comfortable. The location, being at the lower eastern end of the town was very quiet with a views to the ocean, a church and open green spaces. As Monemvasia is not too big, you can access everything in the town easily. The family who run the Guesthouse also run a shop with local produce - it’s worth visiting as they talk you through and offer tasting of things. We loved our time here.

Es hat sehr unangenehm aus dem Abfluss im Bad gerochen. Zum duschen muss man vorher einen Boiler anmachen. Die Bettwäsche hat auch etwas gemuffelt.

We particularly like the whole feeling and atmosphere of the building along with the politeness of the staff. The breakfast basket in the room was a great touch!
