En arrivant dans la chambre, absence de papier toilette, absence de tapis de douche, pas d'eau chaude, il y a des tasses mais pas de café ou thé. Les descentes d'eau de la chambre du dessus passaient dans notre chambre et nous entendions tout. Nous entendions tout les bruits voisins. Chambre très mal insonorisée je déconseille cette établissement

An awesome, truly unique place. The kind you won't find anywhere else. Very close and welcoming owners, friendly driver, and amazing front desk staff, outstandingly kind and helpful.

Cleaning and maintenance need some improvement. The internet speed and stability should be fixed too. Also, the cook doesn't seem worthy of the place. She repeatedly encourages guests to order food via Grab to avoid working, and several major issues arose due to poor kitchen management, which needs serious attention. The property would definitely benefit from a new cook.

It was my second time staying and the staff, as always, was attentive and welcoming! The location was quiet, quaint, and I liked that it had good Italian food. It also was a good distance to a beautiful hike up to the waterfalls! About 9km id say. Loved it! I'll be back!

I didn't like leaving.

The girls at reception were phenomenal and nothing less than attentive to all my requests. I bonded well with Chico and Georgina ( my little greeters)! The owner was a great person to converse with and the location was peaceful. My only regret is leaving soon but I'm an explorer. With that being said, there is a about a 10 hike through Valencia with the friendliest small town people who waived as I backpacked through the quaint areas uphill! One of the best experiences I've had to date and can't wait to see the new buffet they will soon experiment with on Saturdays! Thank you all and thank you Chico! Be blessed and be well!

A perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet setting, a beautiful pool, and wonderful staff. It’s also a positive that the place attracts both tourists and locals.

The breakfast portions were a bit limited, as we had to request extra rice or bread each time. Except the size the quality was pretty good !

Lots not working food was absolutely disgusting extremely under cooked wrong ordered cooked .staff where completely clueless .there was a pump going all night long above our room kicked in every 4mins and kept us awake all night .if it had a professional manager it could be a thousand times better

We had an amazing stay. The setting is beautiful, the owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again

Only 2 choices available on the menu on first night ? Go to The Hideout - not too far away it was excellent!, The smell in the wardrobe from the a/c leaking into it , the shower leaks water to the bathroom so you step in water when you go to toilet , black marks in shower ceiling ( possible mold coming through ). The property has been let go maintenance wise , I think they are putting all the money into the property next door , if you want to swim you have to go to the other property . I could go on about some more faults with maintenance but couldn’t be bothered - if the owner just looks around he will see . I think these premises ,in its day would have been quite nice . Stay away from monkeys in the cage , they grab at you as you go by .

Wonderfully designed and executed. Staff was friendly and the owner was present and informative. Food was good.

When finished this location will be amazing with pools, a full gym and yourts that are unique. The construction. Was a bit disconcerting as it went on til 9pm and a few adjoins properties had dogs and barked continuously into the night.

Très beau « domaine », c’est un lieu apaisant. Les chambres sont vraiment spacieuses, bien équipées (eau à disposition, frigo, tv, climatisation, balcon, jolie et très grande douche) Il y a deux piscine, dont une est en réparation mais l’autre est incroyablement belle ! Le soir elle est toute éclairée avec une cascade, c’est de toute beauté. Il y a également un fitness ! Le jardin vers le restaurant est également magnifique, rempli de verdure. C’est tellement beau et apaisant Le personnel est très sympa, tout ce qu’il y a de plus serviable et attentif

Pas grand chose. Il y a de quoi manger au restaurant mais je trouve le déjeuner un petit peu limité, dans le sens où j’aime le sucré au déjeuner mais c’est qu’une histoire de goût. Je dirai aussi que ça peut être un petit peu “gênant” que les ouvriers restent dans les environs de la piscine le soir. Mais rien de dramatique!

This place is amazing. From the minute you arrive you are welcomed by amazing staff. It’s so beautiful and the way it’s designed makes you feel so relaxed. Pool area is something else!!! 💓💓. There’s a gym which is fabulous. Room was so clean, bed super comfortable and amazing air con. Lots of other thoughtful bits too. We LOVE this place. We had amazing pasta, wine and cold beer. They are spending a lot of money on the resort and have added these amazing glamping tents that are the best I’ve seen!!! They even have a massage chair in them, not a standard one either… one of the best!!! Safari tents coming soon as well, they look fab so far. This location is great and the owner and his wife spent time talking to us and made us feel so special as did the rest of the staff. There is even an incredible massage area which blew our minds. I think the price is far too low for the quality of this place!!! I will 100 percent stay there next time and I would also recommend it to anyone who is in Dumaguete. 10/15 mins from port and airport. Plus if you don’t want to eat what’s on the menu they even let you order in, perfect for those fussy eaters!! Well done guys… your place is unreal!!!! We loved it and loved you all, such lovely people.

the monkey bites my child . very aggresive . the staffs said that the owner does'nt feed the monkeys . the foreign guest and the owner argue about it and the owner don't mind it and i hate it. our vacation turns into a nightmare. hopefully we manage to get a vaccine around dumaguete city wthout the help of the hotel. we will not recommended this.

Nous avons hélas passé une seule nuit dans cet établissement. L’accueil a été très agréable de la part de l’équipe, et l’échange avec le propriétaire des lieux fut un moment très intéressant. La chambre était moderne et bien entretenue, avec un lit de qualité — ce qui est rare aux Philippines. Les matériaux sont de bonne qualité, et de l’eau fraîche ainsi que du café étaient à disposition. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. La grande piscine se trouve à une dizaine de mètres de l’établissement et constitue un lieu très agréable en journée, et vraiment magique de nuit. Le jardin principal est également un endroit idéal pour se détendre, dans un véritable écrin de verdure. Le rapport qualité-prix est bien supérieur à celui d’autres établissements du même secteur. Je recommande vivement cet établissement

I loved this place and highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful high quality environment. The staff is top notch and the owner personally interacts with guests to make sure they are comfortable and happy with their stay.

Magnifique jardin avec sa piscine et son bar.. le propriétaire Gerardo et sa femme Sheila sont aux petits soins avec leur hôte. Vraiment je vous recommande cet endroit à 100%

The superb landscape especially at night, the place is just beautiful. The pool is the best with warm water perfect for a relaxing night after a hot busy day.

One of their staff was mumbling up and down the pool while we were trying to enjoy and relax in the water. Until she came three times screaming to another male staff in front of us, it was unfortunately very unpleasant and that staff was very rude in front of us. We had the best service from all the staff, Jackie, Carlos 1 and 2😊, Sam, Tinkerbell, Ronald who was very helpful too and a great driver. Unfortunately that lady from the kitchen is a nightmare, she needs a big hug😂. The owners are very kind and friendly.

Dommage que le restaurant soit fermé mais il y’a tout de même possibilité de se faire livrer et de manger sur place.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en behulpzaam personeel! De kamer zag er verder goed uit. Hier kwamen we dan ook heerlijk tot rust! Van geluidsoverlast geen sprake dus!

Locaties is net iets te ver van het centrum af. Maar verder prima te doen!

Personeel zijn vriendelijk. We hebben genoten van onze vakantie!

Das kleine Hotel/Resort ist eine wunderschöne Oase etwas abseits des Trubels von Dumaguete. Sehr schöne Zimmer, alle inkl Aircon und Balkon. Leckeres Frühstück ist inklusive. Für ein paar abseits Tage sehr zu empfehlen.

Love the romantic garden theme. We could use more breakfast options - location is a little far from the city proper but if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing area that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city then this place is definitely it. They also have a glamping room that is definitely worth checking out in this hotel. Staff and the owner are so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was great, short ride away from Dumaguete and right in Valencia, you do need a scooter to get around but they have those for rental at the property and they also provide a shuttle service. It’s a very chilled and laid back place and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly! We loved our time here and exploring the sites around.

Walls are very thin. You can hear every word from the neighbours. Also some noise was consistently there.

Very green ambience and the deck space for the rooms on the poolside is spacious. Staff are warm and welcoming, massage/spa rooms onsite, great rooms and value for South East Asia traveling, and we loved Bluey the dog!

A little far from the main area but the hotel offers a shuttle service and drives are easy enough to organise.

The whole hotel has a very chilled relaxing feel to it. Very clean, very comfortable and with a superb garden area and swimming pool. But what really made it for me was the staff. They were excellent and couldn't do enough to make the stay better and more comfortable. They were never overly intrusive but always ready to help with a smile. If you stay here I can also highly recommend a massage in the spa area. I hope I can get back and stay again in the future. The owner has created a relaxing oasis.

Nothing at all to do with the hotel and staff but if staying for more than a couple of days I think it would be a good idea to arrange your own transport to get out and explore the local area.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux à l’hôtel Giardino Romantico, où nous avons séjourné 4 nuits et 5 jours. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleur et de gentillesse. L’équipe nous a accueillis pour le réveillon de Noël, et ce moment restera gravé dans nos mémoires. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez des proches, dans une ambiance conviviale, humaine et sincère. Durant notre séjour, Pierre est malheureusement tombé malade, et toute l’équipe a été aux petits soins avec nous : attention, bienveillance, disponibilité… un soutien précieux qui fait toute la différence. Un immense merci pour cet accueil exceptionnel, votre humanité et votre professionnalisme. Nous repartons avec de magnifiques souvenirs et l’envie de revenir très vite. Hôtel que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation !

We love the place, it was quiet, peaceful and the design was very interesting. The owner is also very interesting we missed to say goodbye to him but we plan to come back very soon. The room we stayed was double deluxe, it was very clean, smells good and very relaxing. My daughter looooves the shower.

Less shower soap and shampoos given. The wifi is a little slow especially in the room.

Je prend cet hôtel car il me paraissait très bien en photo. On m’a volé de l’argent dans ma chambre ! Le verrou de mon balcon était cassé. J’ai été me plaindre à l’accueil qui était incapable de faire quelque chose. J’ai eu le numéro du propriétaire, il m’a dit qu’il allait regarder les caméra de surveillance et revenir vers moi. Il ne m’a plus jamais répondu. Je devais une petite somme pour le restaurant ( 5-10 euros ) je demande à ce qu’on m’offre ceci pour le dédommagement du vol et non, c’est pas possible. Je demande à appeler la police pour le vol et on m’a mener en bateau jusqu’a la dernière minute. De plus il n’y a pas de wifi, pas de piscine. Le propriétaire a l’air sympa au premier abord mais m’a clairement envoyer chier en niant mes messages suite au vole.

Wir hatten einige interessante Gespräche mit dem Eigentümer der Anlage der recht abenteuerliche Geschichten aus seinem Leben zu erzählen hat und gute, allgemeine und besondere Tipps geben kann.

Die einstmals wahrscheinlich schöne und belebte Anlage ist leider in einem schlechten Zustand und bleibt entsprechend schlecht gebucht. Der Swimmingpool war momentan grün von Algenbesatz und absolut unbenutzbar da technische Probleme anscheinend nicht gelöst werden können (der Besitzer baut gemäss seinen eigenen Aussagen unter Anderem auch darum gerade einen neuen, grossen und schönen Pool auf dem nahen "Clamping-Gelände). Die grosse Gartenanlage war zwar wie auf den Fotos vorhanden jedoch ist der erlebte Zustand völlig ein anderer! Die Frühstücksauswahl war minimal (nicht einmal Wasser in Flaschen war vorhanden!) Nachtessen im Restaurant war meines Erachtens nicht möglich - wir hatten aber auch gar nicht Lust danach zu fragen!

Vi fick ingen information om frukost eller wifi. Rummet är mycket slitna och eftersatta, på det ställen dom gjort renoveringar eller reparationer kan man se att det är mycket dåligt gjort. Rummet dåligt städat, vasken var skitig. Lerigt på stenläggningen utanför dörren så att man fick lera in i rummet. Poolen var grumlig samt smutsig längs vattenlinjen och därmed i mina ögon oanvändbar. Skjutdörrarna stängde inte tätt utan lämnade en glipa på 5mm. Det fanns dispensers i duschen för tvål o schampo men de var naturligtvis tomma. 2 handdukar på 3 gäster i 3 dagar. Ingen handukstork. Vägen som gick ner till hotellet var hemsk att åka på. Fel toalettsits satt monterad på toalettstolen. Rummet vi fick kändes mycket fuktigt samt att det luktade mögel. Det fanns två små apor instängda i bur vid receptionen, absolut inte passande enligt min mening. Katter och hundar sprang runt borden där vi åt frukost, var tydligen som ägaren tagit in utifrån. Fult med myror runt frukostborden, närliggande myrstack som man ej åtgärdar. Det växer svamp på handledaren som går upp till frukost borden. Vi kände att det här var så äckligt att vi bestämde oss för att checka ut 2 dagar tidigare även om vi förlorade pengarna.
