Eucalyptus Cottage

First of all, I would like to thank the lovely host, Esther. The warm welcome and her helpful, caring nature. I arrived alone and handed in my rental, so was without a car. She was so kind and offered to help me out if needed. She also made sure I felt safe and re-assured me that there were people around. The area is so peaceful and quiet, I felt completely safe. First impression when you walk into the apartment, is wow! It was super clean. The use of white tiles and airy curtains, etc. adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Oh my word, the bathroom is heaven! A bathtub in the middle, a his and hers vanity and sink area, shower, etc. I had such a relaxing time...in the bath😆. The living/bedroom area was just as amazing, perfect for one person or a couple. Enough warm blankets for a cozy night's rest. The fireplace was a huge bonus! The kitchen is perfect for all your needs. I was even surprised with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and water, which is a special add-on during your stay. I loved opening the windows, feeling the fresh breeze come through...there's more I can write, but come experience it for yourself. I would highly recommend staying here.❣️

I loved the layout of the place. How wrll equipped it was. It has a nice and comfortable atmosphere .. the fireplace and the bathroom definitely adds to the charm of the place. It was absolutely lovely and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!

I do feel like the heating facilities could be worked on more. The place is extremely cold and although the fireplace is a nice touch to add warmth as well as the waterbottles..the warmth received isnt enough. If possible , then perhaps yo can consider adding heated blankets to the bed to make it more cozy because it is extremely cold

The place was perfect for the intended purpose, very romantic. The fireplace was the winner for us, especially in this weather. The staff went over and above of what was required and saw to all our needs. Thank you to the owners for their understanding with my delivery. A perfect weekend, would not hesitate to return. Absolutely loved my stay. Easy and convenient location to travel from. Check in and out were a breeze. Esther was absolutely fantastic from the time of booking to checking out, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The apartment was beautifully done, easy to feel at home, the bed ensured a very good night's sleep. Was sad to leave. Amazing trip that you Esther.

Nous avions réservé deux nuits, la propriétaire a annulé notre réservation deux heures avant notre venue pour une raison incompréhensible (selon Booking, suite à une surréservation, selon la propriétaire parce qu'elle n'acceptait pas les réservations effectuées moins de 24h avant... ). Très décevant, nous avons dû trouver un logement à la toute dernière minute ce qui a créé du stress et une perte de temps précieux.

Very nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It has everything you need for a few days or even a longer stay. The bed is large and comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Supermarkets are about 1.5 km away, but delivery services work well.

If you looking for a quint space to relax, heal and that's peaceful. This place is ideal. Loved the bathroom! Host manager was very communicative. Met the owner that assisted me with a charging block, very nice. All and all a very good experience. Area was safe to go for walks:)

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. The unit was exceptionally clean & comfortable, with thoughtful instruction notes & everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is light & airy & very spacious. The communication was warm & welcoming! Thanks, Esther😀

The layout. Amazing bathroom, cozy fireplace, chocolates on the pillows, very spaciouse. Home away from home. Very safe.

I liked everything about this property. It is neat and stylish and situated in a quiet suburb. You have decent malls in a 3-4 km radius. It's far from the city center and works excellently for me.

The decor is amazing. Great location, quiet, huge shower, super comfortable bed and equipment in kitchen is modern. All the fine details like the biscuits they sat out, sweeties on the bed and clear instructions really made this stay extraordinary.

The WIFI was a bit up and down depending on where in the flat you were, but it is a minor thing. There is really nothing to complain about.

Still in mid air, I hadn't landed as yet in Johannesburg to catch my connecting flight to Cape Town when an email was sent "Property's message" with house rules etc only to see that I am required to "purchase electricity"? Which I feel is a tad sneaky. On the Booking.com website it did not state anything about having to use your OWN Netflix Account either. If all of this was posted on the website, I wouldn't have booked this cottage. The entire cottage was smelly as well as the closet. It smelled as if it hadn't been aired for months. and the bedding smelled like body odour. I did try to air the cottage and closet but to no avail. I kept my clothing in my suitcase for the duration of my stay. The first eve I slept in the bed as it was freezing, had no other alternative. The following day I drove to the Mall and purchased a new blanket, pillow & pillowcase and slept the rest of the time on the sofa. Therefore I decided not to extend my stay and booked into another establishment.

Prompt, professional communication with the host Angela Clark. Very comfortable and spacious apartment. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom huge with lovely bath and shower. Outside deck an added bonus. Great value all round. Easy access to N1 and nearby facilities. This place is a gem compared to most places where you get a small room with bed and kettle at greater cost.

Beautiful cottage and great host.

The space is a large open, light & airy area & the hostess was very accommodating. They even provided an office chair on request. The bath was a real treat! The place has all one needs for self-catering.

The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable. It was saggy on both sides of the King size bed.

This house is a thatched home to a bigger house. It is well located if you need to be in Brakenfel, which was my case. The neighbourhood is excellent without fences and barbed wires and very quiet. The kitchen is not a formal kitchen but the hist found an oven stove combi, which works very well. The bathroom is the king room and if you fancy large bathrooms, this will definitely make your day. It has also a balcony and a place to sit outside. Very nice!

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the place, how perfect and suitable it was for a couple and had an alternative if their was load shedding. Internet was always on and just love the ambience of the place when we arrived and the set up.

The cook ware could of been a bit bigger pots and possibly a extra one other than that it was perfect perfect.

The place was exceptional, just like in the pictures. Everything was neat and clean. The bed is very comfortable. My daughter loved the tub and the astheric of the place.

The cute little instruction notes left is extremely cute and useful, you are provided with everything you possibly need even water bottles and cookies, all you need to bring is yourself, food and your clothes. The bathroom was SENSATIONAL. The key was easy to access but ladies with long nails just beware opening the keybox lol, communication with the owners was great ❤️

The cottage is home away from home, the is big enough there is a kitchen with stove, fridge and everything you would need, iron and stuff. And the bathroom was the best of them all, very spacious and really beautiful. The host was great in communication also, it was just the best I have ever seen in the area

The location was excellent. We were spoilt for choice when deciding on a restaurant to have dinner, as there were so many at the shopping complex close by. Peaceful and safe area. Owner, a lovely friendly, caring lady.
