Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Wicklow Ireland has been absolutely breath taking!!! We're staying at knockrobin cottage here with the most wonderful couple. Their garden is like a little taste of heaven. Waking up to the sound of pattering rain and birds chirping away in our room this morning has been the best way to wake up. This tiny little coastal gem has some sort of magic about it, and such rich history. No fairy circles yet, but we're told if you drink enough, they're everywhere!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026L’accueil de Rita est particulièrement agréable et chaleureux. Merci beaucoup. La chambre et la literie sont très confortables, nous avons très bien dormi. Il est pratique de pouvoir utiliser la cuisine et très sympathique de pouvoir échanger avec nos hôtes.
L’emplacement déroute un peu à l’arrivée mais n’a pas réellement d’importance car l’accueil et la maison sont très sympathiques. La salle de bain (très grande et très propre) qui est parfois partagée peut être une contrainte mais nous avons eu la chance de ne finalement pas avoir à la partager. Merci beaucoup.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026First of all, we were welcomed by two of the most wonderful hosts. They were both stellar. Very warm and helpful, kind and full of wonderful stories. You felt at home while also maintaining your privacy. The bed was very comfortable and allowed us to recover amply from our jet lag we carried. After Glendalough, the following day we went to Mount Usher gardens upon the recommendation of Matt, our host and absolutely loved it with its outstanding arboretum. We hope to return one day and highly recommend !

Zij serveerde ons lekker ontbijt terwijl de kamer exclusief ontbijt was. Boeiende gesprekken aan de ontbijttafel. Veilige parkeerplaats voor de deur. Lidl vlakbij voor boodschappen. De beste overnachtingsplaats tijdens 10-daagse rondreis.

Rita met us as we drove in and was very welcoming. The room was very neat and clean. The bed was very comfy and shower hot. Timing and weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor sitting area but it looked nice. Location was quiet. Would stay again if in the area and recommend it to others.
A minor WIFI issue was addresses right away.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Martin & Rita were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for us attending a family wedding in Tinakilly County House.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026We got a small bedroom without a connecting bathroom for the price of a hotel. This should have never been offered as a b&b. Of course, breakfast is not included. Not even water to drink. I did not even read the sign that we are not supposed to eat in the room until the ff morning. The host wants us to eat our food in her kitchen. The house is too small, we need the privacy of our room to eat our food. Also, there is no television in the room or a small chair to sit on. It is just not comfortable to stay in this place. The hosts are friendly alright, but what we need is just a friendky place.

I would have preferred an en suite bathroom however the bathroom although not en suite was excellent in every way. The location being right on the side of a very busy road close to Wicklow town was not quite as expected.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr familiär und die Besitzer sind sehr nett, uns wurde auch angeboten die Küche mitzubenützen, zb. für Kaffee. Das Zimmer war super, es war sehr bequem und hatte alles was man braucht. Auch kostenlose Parkplätze stehen direkt an der Unterkunft zu Verfügung.

Dining and kitchen area was fully equipped and we were made very comfortable using it. We also felt totally free to come in and out as we needed throughout our stay.
There was no breakfast included for a place advertised as bed and breakfast. There was no hot tap water at sinks and no heating in the morning when staying at the end of December, while our group included a 70yo and a 3yo - wouldn't have been such an issue on warmer days, though. Unfortunately, we could also hear snoring throughout the night from each of the rooms, which was quite disruptive for us all.
