Personnel très gentil même si difficile à voir. Emplacement au calme avec des chats.

Emplacement un peu loin du centre (20min de la plage). Pas de papier toilette, pas de petit dej malgré le fait que ce soit indiqué sur booking (café et thé à disposition). Lit peu confortable. Pas l'endroit idéal pour rencontrer des gens quand on voyage en solo. Pour le prix, il y a mieux ! Petit message aux ronfleurs : quand on sait qu'on ronfle merci de prendre une chambre à part, surtout quand c'est vraiment fort !

La habitación era cómoda, amplia, el aire acondionado funcionaba bien y era limpio. Tenia 3 gatos hermosos y un perro loco que podias jugar con ellos :) Los baños estaban bien, tenia varios, solo uno con agua caliente pero el agua fria era genial por el calor que hacia.

A la noche/madrugada había ruido de conversaciones bastante alto cuando decía qué la hora de silencio era a las 11:30pm y justo nuestra ventana daba a la galería del espacio en común.

Wonderful place, lovely people! It felt more like a home. Everything clean and cozy and a lot of animals to pet. Enough lockers outside of the room. Mami and Wany were always fun to be around and would help you with whatever. If you like a place a bit more quiet and less hustle and buzzle, this is perfect for you! Try the restaurant on the other side of the road, I went there every day for breakfast Thank you, Mami! Would definitely come back 🫶🏼

Lieu hyper cosy. Calme ( bon, c'est vrai que nous entendons l'appel à la prière) mais ça reste un endroit paisible. Un café, un resto et une supérette sont à proximités.

Le centre est à 15 mn à pied. La plage plutôt 20.

Quiet, good vibe and there was a guitar

The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, handled quickly by the owner. My room was spacious, clean, and conveniently located next to the shared bathroom, making it easily accessible. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made relaxing easy. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which included all necessary utensils and a fridge.

My roommates from the room next door partied every night, which made it difficult to get proper rest, especially during the first five nights. Additionally, being next to the shared bathroom meant I could hear people showering and using the toilet, which was not very pleasant.

We stayed in the private room with shared bathroom and kitchen. Our stay was perfect, short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, laundry/mini mart at the end of the road. Facilities were excellent- best we have had, fridge, cooking facilities, water dispenser, tv, sofa, area to relax both inside and out. Bed was so comfy and room was very spacious. Owner is also the most friendly person ever. Would highly recommend

Homestay environment, free hot and cold water, tea coffee etc. Several bathrooms. The dog following me everytime I went for walkies.

Owner had to leave for emergency and she seemed really nice. Dissapointed not to meet her properly.

The place is incredibly cozy. A lot of plants and places to chill outdoors. Very clean and convenient. We never had to wait fo the shower. There is one shower for 2 rooms. Aircon worked well.

Speaking of chilling outdoors. There are people constantly chatting there. Up to 01:00 or 02:00 or later. Smoking cigarettes and the smoke came straight to our room. Not very pleasant if you can’t tolerate it.

Beautiful homestay just 15min walk from the center. Or few minutes if you rented a bike. The owners are suuuper nice and welcoming, the treat you like your family. Give you tips on places to go eat and see. The room I stayed was very nice, very comfy bed, with a shared bathroom and kitchen. You get coffee and tea, toast and peanut butter!! All day long, plus water which I really appreciated. Very close to an amazing breakfast roti place just in the corner, where you can also rent a scooter.

The warm reception of the hosts, they’re beautiful people. They also provide breakfast for you, a little something to eat.

Die Einfachheit und familiäre Atmosphäre. Es war alles da, was man brauchte, Schließfächer, saubere duschen und Toiletten Küche und Kühlschrank. Wasserspender. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Nous avons adoré, nous étions dans les chambres privées et avions notre intimité mais en même temps nous étions avec les autres sur la terrasse et avons fait de super rencontres. Il y a des chats et un chien, et l’hôte est adorable. C’est très propre aussi

El ambiente entre los huéspedes era bueno. Está en un sitio tranquilo, a 15' a pie del centro

El colchón estaba hundido y la cama no era cómoda. En la litera no había ninguna luz ni ninguna estantería.

Bellissimo ambiente, tranquillo, circondato da bellissimi gattini. C’è veramente una bella atmosfera rilassante in questo ostello. La proprietaria è stata molto carina e gentile.

La spiaggia dista a 15 minuti a piedi, non vicinissimo ma comunque facilmente raggiungibile a piedi o con grab

Es war sehr familiär. Es gab drei duschen, inklusive Toiletten. Sie wurden ständig sauber gehalten. Es gab Regeln, an die sich jeder gehalten hat. Bezüglich auf Hygiene und Ordnung. Es gab Mikrowelle Kühlschrank, man konnte sich Tee und Kaffee machen, ständig frisches Wasser. Und Spindschlösser. Günstige Essensmöglichkeiten und trotzdem gut Qualität. Alles Gute zu Fuß erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Nachtmarkt und Strände. Die Hauseigentümer sind unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit.

Très bon accueil, je me suis sentie bien, j’ai passé un excellent séjour. Les propriétaires sont gentils, et les animaux adorables. Un peu triste que le séjour soit déjà terminé.

Superbe auberge ! On s’y sent comme à la maison, des chats et des chiens adorables, de superbes rencontres, j’ai même prolongé de 2 nuits supplémentaires même si je serais bien restée encore plus longtemps ! Merci et si je repasse dans le coin, je reviendrais sans hésiter ❤️

this property is very chill with lovely owners. it is basic but it has everything you need for a relaxing stay close to a beach. thank you for a great stay and the board games were a great perk!

Rustig stay met schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Iets ver van het strand maar wel rustiger. Bed is schoon. Locaal eten is dichtbij te vinden

Everything was good, staff, breakfast, rooms. So chill place with many cats and crazy dog. Felt like at home. I would definitely come back here.

Super ambiance, calme, bien situé

I really liked the peaceful and calm atmosphere of the hostel. The owner was very kind and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable from the first day. The place had a nice vibe, and there were many local food options nearby, which was great to experience the local culture.

The male volunteer from Kuala Lumpur is amazing, very helpful and kind. Basically had the apartment shared with another room to ourselves - only shared with one other couple for one night. The free bread, coffee and hot/cold water is very good. The other hostel people were very nice.

Paid an extra RM 16 per day so RM 50 for the 3 days as a cleaning fee. They never cleaned our apartment once, all the owner does is sit and smoke. The female owner is very rude, we locked the door once and got a sharp message about other people needed to enter (there was no need for it) She barely spoke to us, just shouts at you if you have your shoes on, which is fair enough, but we had shoes on in the area you were allowed shoes. One night someone kindly dropped off food from the night market for people to share, she took it all. THE BED IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!! It’s like sleeping on a rock The owners dog barks at everything, all hours of the night. She just leaves it outside chained up. The walls are so thin you wake up a lot !!

Wygodne duże łóżko. W miarę dobra lokalizacja. W pokoju jak i w całym obiekcie jest czysto.

Problem z zakwaterowaniem (nikt nie czeka na recepcji). Wszędzie są koty i psy. Brak normalnych drzwi do łazienki. Brak okna w pokoju.

Wir waren 25 Nächte im Mimpimoon Hostel in einem der privaten Zimmer und haben uns ab dem ersten Tag wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der geteilte Küchen- und Essbereich war praktisch und ideal für längere Aufenthalte. (Diese Bereiche werden ausschließlich mit dem zweiten privat Zimmer geteilt). Die Klimaanlage konnte jederzeit genutzt werden und das WLAN war meist stabil genug, um problemlos zu arbeiten. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Auf Anfrage gab es saubere Handtücher, Toilettenpapier und sogar Roomservice. Wir haben außerdem die Haustiere sehr geliebt – gut geregelt ist, dass sie nicht in die privaten Bereiche dürfen. Die Lage ist perfekt: etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Cenang Beach, Frühstück und Laundry direkt um die Ecke. Man kommt schnell mit anderen Reisenden ins Gespräch, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Wir würden diese Unterkunft 100% Empfehlen und wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.

Wie in vielen Hostels ist es hellhörig, und die Fenster sind nicht besonders licht- oder schalldicht. Mit Ohrstöpseln und Schlafmaske war das aber gut lösbar. An einem Abend waren andere Gäste laut, aber nachdem wir Bescheid gesagt haben, war innerhalb von 15 Minuten Ruhe. Der Hund Jony kann manchmal laut sein – aber er braucht nur ein bisschen Liebe und wir haben ihn trotzdem sehr lieb gewonnen.

La chambre pour deux est tres bien, grande, avec de bons rangements, une clim et la cuisine est grande avec beaucoup d’equipements. Tres fonctionnelle ! Les espaces communs sont cozys et chaleureux. Les animaux sont gentils et les hotes aussi !

La situation, l’ambiance très sympa, les petits chats et les lits super confortables!

The bathroom shower had small pressure and was not comfortable to use, the mattress was covered in some plastic which was very loud while using

It's a very social hostel - I met really nice people here and ended up having company for my entire stay (I'm solo travelling). Whenever the owners were around, they were friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Considering the price increase over the last year, the place could use more maintenance and attention to detail. Breakfast was included (tea, coffee, bread, and peanut butter), but guests had to inform staff when items like bread or toilet paper ran out. The tea bags were mouldy, probably because the jar had been refilled several times without cleaning. The room was quite cold, with the AC fixed at 21°C and no way to adjust it. The blanket felt small for me (I'm 1.80 m tall), and the mattress was quite hard or worn out. The location also isn't ideal - you need to walk to the center and part of the way is along the main road without much pavement. There were also some extra fees that appeared only at checkout, even though they're usually included in the total on Booking.com.

Great place, the couple who's in charge of the place was really nice.

Il clima giovanile!

La pulizia per quello che paghi non è delle migliori! Troppo lontana al mare o dal centro! Le stanze non vengono mai ripulite e non esiste acqua calda nella doccia!

The hostel was okay. Comfy beds, free toast, coffee, tea and drinking water.

Firstly, be careful booking on booking.com, there were £11 of extra charges in the small print, making this a pretty expensive place to stay compared to other hotels/hostels in better locations. I don’t know why im the first person to notice this and I would’ve cancelled for a full refund if it was possible, but it was not. It didn’t feel too clean, and smelt bad sometimes due to the 5 pets (which I don’t mind too much). My partner opted to wear indoor shoes to stop small bits of sand etc sticking to her feet. The showers were also cold. I don’t think this review is unfair, just a totally honest judgement.
