A disaster, flee this hostel. I arrive air conditioning problem they move me from the room at 1am, when I wake up no water neither in the toilet nor in the bathroom, in the evening they tell me that the air conditioning will be repaired it does not have it it is 50 degrees in the room and they tell me that it is not their fault because they have tried to repair it all day. When I ask for a refund it is only 4 euros because there are booking fees not included I had to force to have a full refund!

Cama cómoda, con espacio para guardar la mochila y los objetos personales. Personal muy amable, a pocos minutos caminando de la playa. 100% recomendable!

Yo estuve casi 4 semanas en Langkawi y la verdad es que es una guesthouse agradable, yo estuve en el dorm y solo es para chicas te sientes super bien. La guesthouse cuenta con agua para consumo, cafè y tè, tambièn hay una refrigeradora para que almacenes tus alimentos si lo prefieres. Respecto a la limpieza usualmente se mantiene limpio en mi caso solo en una semana la persona que hacia la limpieza no llegò por 3 dias. Usualmente no hay nadie en recepciòn pero puedes hacer tu check in y consultas por whatsapp y la verdad es super fàcil. La ubicaciòn es muy buena, 10 minutos o menos caminando llegas a la playa y a la calle principal Cenang donde estàn los restaurantes y comercios, justo enfrente a 1 minutos hay una lavanderia y al lado puedes encontrar Indiana cafe que tambièn lo recomiendo muchoi. Recomiendo 100% a Rembulan si regreso a Langkawi no dudo de hospedarme nuevamente con ellos. Un aporte extra: yo trabajo en linea y por la diferencia de horarios con los paìses con los que trabajo tenia que trabajar a veces 12:00 pm, 3:00 am, 4:00 am y la verdad fueron muy flexibles en dejarme trabajar y encender la luz y ventiladores del àrea principal o utilizar el àrea de cocina para hacerlo y mis compañeras del dorm nunca fueron afectadas. Agradezco a Mira y al resto de staff por tan agradable atenciòn y hacer de mi estadia còmoda y accesible.

Es ist bei Check in niemand vor Ort, aber wir haben es telefonisch geklärt. Für das Geld bekommt man woanders einen eigenen Bungalow mit privatem Badezimmer

Bra boende, man får det man betalar för. Väldigt simpelt, men fungerar bra för enstaka nätter.

Sehr süßes Hostel, nur ein Dorm & wenige Privaträume. Alle Räume waren sauber, es gab eine kleine Küche mit Tisch/Stühlen und einen Gemeinschaftsbereich (gleich am Empfang). Es fühlte sich alles sehr familiär an. Habe mich wirklich unglaublich wohl gefühlt und 2x verlängert. Der Strand ist auch nur einen kleinen Spaziergang entfernt. Das Highlight waren die Katzen! Super entspannt & kuscheln gerne!

Der Weg vom Zentrum ist Nachts etwas unangenehm, da die Straße wirklich sehr ruhig und dunkel ist.

Meeting other guests was lovely. On my first night there, there were people who were not guests drinking, smoking and singing together which was nice to sit and be a part of, despite being sober.

I stayed here 17–20 March 2026. As a solo Black-coded, female traveller, I left feeling unsafe and forced to leave early. Key issues: - My personal belongings were removed from my capsule without my knowledge and taken home by a staff member. I had to organise for them to be returned. Not all of them were. - When I raised this calmly, the housekeeper became aggressive, shouting at me in front of other guests. - The following morning, she again confronted me, physically touched another guest, and told me to leave before checkout. She threatened to call the police (?? I did nothing wrong except for asking for my items back and sharing my experience with another guest and filming the entire experience). - Management was unresponsive throughout and offered no support. When I told them about the threats and intimidation they suggested I leave before the housekeeper call the police??? I cut my stay short and went to the airport hours early because I no longer felt safe. This was not the welcoming environment advertised.

Stayed 2 nights only but it was good vibes , good location, nice staff 👌 ❤️

Staff was super but the bed and shower wasn’t really cool. On the other hand I didn’t book with breakfast but there was free coffee Andrea in the kitchen

The bed in my single room was a bit smelly, just like a dog was sleeping next to me.

Good location as its walking distance to the beach and main strip but without being noisy. Room had aircon which was great. Beds area was good as you could store your bags but the mattress could do with being replaced.

The staff were never around so couldn't ask any questions for help. Another person who was long term at the hostel helped me check in and show me around. The bathroom didnt always have toilet paper. No hot water either.

Location is OK and it's quiet. Reasonable size double room. WiFi works. Communal areas are OK. Hot and cold drinking water and a fridge. Place to hang wet clothes.

Room only had a fan, no air conditioning. Only 2 showers and toilets for everyone and toilet paper was sometimes missing. Towels were old and stained. Staff were either absent or disinterested in dealing with customers, just watching videos on their phones. I really wanted to like this place but it didn't meet expectations. I was happy to only stay one night.

Ich fand das Preisleistungsverhältniss nicht angemessen. Die Matratze ist eher durchgelegen und in meinem Zimmer (Nr.2) lieg die ganze Nacht ein brummender Ventilator vom Dorm, den ich nicht abschalten konnte. Es hatte viele Mücken und leider kein Mückennetz. Vom Personal war in diesen vier Tagen niemand anwesend, da kam nur jemand, wenns Checkin gab. Das fand ich schade, ich hätte gern etwas mehr Infos von der Umgebung bekommen. Die Sauberkeit war ok.

Unausschaltbarer Ventilator im Zimmer. Kein Mückennetz. Preisleistung.

Awesome hostel, wish I stayed longer . Staff were awesome, location, everything. Pretty basic but still nice 👌 no complaints what so ever, the cats made my stay even better ❤️

The sound from the jet pump that is always working when we open the water from the wastafel, the toilet bidet, and shower.

Super friendly and very beautiful hostel nearby the beach. Everything was just perfect.

No hot water at all, very-very slow Wi-fi, everything is very tired (bed linen; towels with stains; instead of a blanket, a strangely shaped bedspread). It is not fabulous at all. It could be okay for 1, maximum 2 nights

The location couldn’t be better imho, it’s a 5 min walk to the beach and Main Street with all restaurants/cafes etc but around the hostel itself it‘s quiet. Everyone is really friendly and relaxed (when they’re around 😅) Great recommendations/information for activities on the island, places to go out to and scooter rental. Free shampoo in the showers Overall very cheap and therefore all complaining is relative

Tbh I thought it would be more social according to the reviews, the people from the hostel were basically never around (not even for checkout 😅) and communication was via WhatsApp I happened to be there for NYE and nothing was organized. The biggest minus however for me was that in my private room there was no AC (just a fan) and no windows, so it got quite hot and stuffy in there :(

Gemütliches Hostel mit einem guten Café nebenan. Bei der Rezeption gibt es einige bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Im Dorm schreiben die unteren Stockbetten durch den Vorhang gut geschützt zu sein. Die oberen Betten haben am Fußende leider keinen Vorhang weshalb die kalte Luft der AC hereinwehen kann. Zusätzlich sind auf einer Seite nahe an Kopfende Ventilatoren von den Einzelzimmern angebracht, die Recht laut sein können und zusätzlich einen Luftzug erzeugen. Aber das ist bei dem Preis jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Really nice hostel with a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach. Although I rarely saw the staff the hostel was clean and when the aircon started leaking in the evening someone was sent really quickly to look at it

El ambiente es muy bueno y el espacio de la cama tiene hueco para dejar la mochila y cargar el móvil.

Lo único que podría mencionar es que las toallas son un poco viejas.

Von außen eine unscheinbare Unterkunft, die sich aber zu einem Wohlfühlort entwickelte. Ich habe mich sofort sehr willkommen gefühlt und sogar um 2 Nächte verlängert. In erster Linie möchte ich das liebe Personal hervorheben. Ich mochte auch sehr das direkt daneben liegende Café. Essen und Kaffee sind sehr lecker. Zum schönsten Teil des Strandes sind es nur knappe 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Entfernung störte mich nicht.

Ich möchte erwähnen, dass es ein einfach gehaltenes Hostel ist bzgl Räumlichkeiten und Ausstattung, nicht fancy. Hat mich persönlich aber nicht gestört.

Rembulan is a great hostel. The room is comfortable, every bed has a curtain and a light. There is a little kitchen and a place to chill. There are 3 very cute cats. Jack is very friendly and is helping every guest if there is something. He helped me to book the tickets for the ferry & bus. Would recommend this place for a chill and calm stay. Good place to meet other girl.s

The perfect base to explore and relax in Langkawi. It is so well taken care of and genuinely such a relaxing, safe haven place to stay. I would definitely stay there again :)

Excellent location close to the main town but still sufficiently within a quieter part of Cenang. Vegan cafe next door was awesome. Awesome cats. Shoutout to Blackie and Biscuit! Staff were attentive and friendly and even remembered me as a returning guest! Walking distance to self-service laundry and a supermarket

The fan in my room was a bit noisy, but that was about it.

I arrived in advance ( I sent a message), I got an automatic message saying that I can I least drop off the bag, however when I arrived, no one was there... I text the number that was on the desk.. no one answered... One afternoon there were no water... ( no shower, no toilet etc.) On the shower on evening lots of midges... not really clean

Very clean, very comfortable and lovely rustic feel, lots of greenery and a few cute cats!

A microwave might be nice to have although its not a necessity

One of the best hostels I’ve been. Jack was amazing and I adored the cute cafe next door. Shower were perfect and the hostel was always spotless. Met so many lovely people, lockers were decent size and loved the amount of bag storage there was. Broke my heart when I had to leave this place cause it was perfect :)

This hostel has really nice vibes. All people working here are super friendly, easy to communicate and we extended our stay with no problems. The room is nice, just enough space for your stuff (we had a queen bed room), shared facilities are also great - clean and practical. The best thing here is ambiance. Those 3 cats are super friendly, we loved the whole vibe and atmosphere. Their neighbour is also vegan cafe - must try if you’re there. Overall I would book it again.

The only bad thing was slightly hard bed, but nothing too extreme.

Really nice and cozy place, not far from the beach or restaurants. The stuff is very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

Good people, nice tourists.

Owners should understand that living area is for tourists relaxing and not for owners smoking, owners smoke in the living area like there is a smoke competition going on. I was unable to sit and relax. No chair in the room so, only sitting was in restaurants where you pay for eating. Owners only speak with girl tourists and they didn’t even greet or speak with me.

Great location 5 min walk from beach and main strip so bit quieter. Staff are very friendly and was such a chill hostel vibe. Free tea and coffee and the cats are a bonus. Loved our time here

The location was great and it takes 10 minutes walk to reach the Pantai Cenang beach. My stay was comfortable and met really cool ladies from other countries.
