Ballyhoura Glamping

We liked everything about the property, such a cosy place, surrounded by nature and secluded in a lovely quiet place. Very clean and had everything we needed. Small little touches like the basket of goodies and the board games to play were a lovely extra. Would definitely go back here again.

Staying at Ballyhoura Glamping was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The site is beautifully maintained, and our pod was spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with little touches that made it feel special. I’d happily return for another stay.

Nice, warm, welcoming and cozy feel to cabin with lovely views of the Ballyhoura mountains. Welcome basket was a lovely touch as was the comprehensive information booklet. Each cabin is very private with own secluded outdoor seating area. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place to just chill and relax. The pods are so cosy. The goodies left for us were so nice and they supply you with the essentials like milk, butter, jam, teabags etc. Would highly recommend here and taking the short walk down to The Village Inn pub. The owner is friendly and her dog is amazing!!

Ballyhoura Glamping in Ballyorgan is a fantastic find for anyone exploring the area, and it is particularly convenient for those of us tackling the Ireland Way. The chalet is incredibly charming, offering a peaceful garden, a sun terrace with beautiful mountain views, and all the comforts you need like a kitchenette, strong WiFi, and a private bathroom. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the host, Elaine. She is incredibly kind and went far beyond the call of duty. After I suffered a minor injury on the trail, she actually came to pick us up by car and then drove us to our bus in Kilfinane the following day. Her warmth and helpfulness turned a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. If you are looking for great amenities and genuine hospitality, this is the place to stay.

Spotless, bed was very comfortable, heating was top notch, loved the outside seating area with the view and it was nice touch with some of the local treat there on arrival

There were some local foods and drinks left in the pod for us which was a really nice touch. The pod was warm and comfortable and I'd definitely recommend it for anyone staying in the area.

It is quite remote but I wouldn’t say that is a negative, we really enjoyed how peaceful it was. A nice change to where we’d usually book for a night away

Everything was perfectly laid out. Everything you need for self catering. Perfect location with scenic views. Such a homely touch to the cabins with a welcome basket provided on arrival.

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful location. There was a selection of local produce, bread, milk, butter, jam & apple juice to enjoy which was really appreciated. Very clean, well equipped and the bed was so comfortable. We will be back!

Elaine has put so much thought, love and warmth into her glamping pods. She has thought of everything for a perfect cosy stay . The scones in the welcome basket , butter and jam in the fridge and milk for our cuppa when we got settled. The local apple juice made in Ballyhoura . The pod was immaculate and even had a ninja air fryer!! The bathroom is beautiful clean white soft and green angel shower and sink products bliss what a treat. Thank you so much we had a fab stay and we will be back :)) great hosts

Beautiful Cabins with a beautiful view

Absolutely everything was beautifully done and with so much attention to detail! Such a romantic and cosy pod with everything you could need. The self check-in was easy and Elaine was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely return soon!
