WECO STAY Myeongdong

環境安靜舒服，雖然一開始入住時房間電子鎖有問題，但跟客服反應後有得到即時處理，其他整體來說也都很不錯，離機場線的巴士站點也很近真的是蠻方便的。 唯一要說就是雖然飯店是寫明洞，但其實離明洞有段距離哈哈哈🤣

All is good. We like this room.

The bed was fine and the facilities in the room good. Although the location doesn't look great, it's safe and convenient. The staff were helpful when we had a problem with the boiler.

We stayed for 8 nights and there was no cleaning done in the room. I wouldn't mind that if you were left cleaning products to clean it but there were none. It got incredibly dusty after a few days and I had to buy extra toilet paper and wash all the towels myself.

Le lit et la salle de bain étaient très bien.

Il manque de verres de couteaux et surtout il n’y a pas assez d’ascenseur.

the overall experiece was pretty nice. the check in process was very clear. the luggage storage room was also very spacious and quite easy to access. the location was wonderful, not so far walking distance from both green line and dark blue line and there are tons of buses that go to myeongdong for shopping.

the only part that i didn't enjoy was the part you need to take out the trash by yourself and do all the recycling. it wasn't that connivence if you are lazy like me.

We actually enjoyed our stay, we were worried the rook would be too small, but it surprised me. Had a washing/drying machine and a nice restaurant downtime. Only thing is that it sometimes takes a while for the elevator to pick you up so if you have an appointment maybe leave a couple minutes early

De locatie was echt perfect. Vlakbij bus halte, metro station en supermarkten. Het bed was goed, we sliepen lekker in de bedden.. De wasmachine deed het ook lekker goed. We konden elke dag onze kleding wassen.

We booked another separate room for family members that are mostly seniors. The place is generally accessible, with elevators available and the rooms are clean and spacious enough to move around. The quadruple room has a nice layout. A tinted glas sliding door separates the bedroom area from the kitchen/dining area for added privacy. The beds were comfortable for restful nights, and the bathroom came with a bathtub (double rooms only have showers). There's plenty of storage as well. Beside the bathroom is a walk-in closet where we could put all our personal items, including the luggage themselves, to free up space in the kitchen/dining area. Having a kitchenette and a washing machine was also a great plus. The kitchen was equipped with utensils, plates/bowls, knives, cooking pans/tools, etc. which is greate for making simple, breakfast meals. Washing machine was easy to operate and worked great--even without using the dryer function, laundry came out only slightly damp so they dried out quickly in a few hours. WECO Stay is an aparthotel, so we expected that some common hotel services are not available such as daily housekeeping, staffed lobby, and breakfast. But at only KRW1.4m for 5 nights, this was really a great value for money. I'd say that the quadruple room is best for families with kids, rather than all four adults sharing the same room, but for our needs, it was good enough for a week-long stay in Seoul.

As pointed out in my other comment, there are no cleaning tools available. With a group of four sharing the same room, dirt can easily build up, so it would have been nice to have the option to clean the room ourselves. The bathroom door automatically locks so you cannot close it when the bathroom is not in use (otherwise no one can enter at all). Also, the quadruple room listing on Booking.com shows the maximum guests to be only three. Upon confirmation with the staff, up to four guests can stay (without increase in the rate), so take that into consideration. Lastly, it's not within Myeongdong, contrary to its name.

We liked that this WECO Stay branch is centrally located, with two nearby bus stops and a 5-minute walk to the nearest metro station, Chungmuro. Myeongdong is one metro station and two or three bus stops away, so it's really easy and convenient to reach major sightseeing sites within the city. The rooms at WECO Stay are spacious, comfortable, and (generally) clean. They are equipped with several amenities and facilities, including a kitchen and a washing machine which we used during our stay. There's a clothes drying rack that you can pull out from one of the closet drawers so you don't need to bring a clothesline or use the few hangers available. While toothbrushes and toothpaste are not available, other necessities such as shampoo, conditioner, liquid body wash, face and body towels, and stock toilet paper were provided. There's a lot of power outlets so you can charge several devices at the same time. On the day of check-in and check-out, luggage storage can be used for free on the ground floor One thing I'd like to point out is that it is an aparthotel and there's no manned lobby; however, their staff can easily be reached by message via the booking platform or their website, and they're very responsive. There's no daily housekeeping, and cleaning requests will cost an additional fee. No breakfast as well although they there's a restaurant right by the entrance that offers breakfast meals (we didn't try it though). Lastly, take note that the whole building isn't entirely owned by WECO Stay; some rooms are for All Stay and Inn The City. By excluding services that are typically provided at hotels, the rates of WECO Stay are quite cheap despite its location. Overall, it was a decent stay and given the low price, it's good value for money.

Since there's no free housekeeping service, it would have been better for rooms to have cleaning tools such as a broom, mop, or vacuum so we could clean the place ourselves especially when we stayed for 6 days. Also, while its name is "WECO Stay Myengdong", it's actually not within Myeongdong but nearby. The immediate surroundings aren't really appealing, with empty/abandoned or run-down shops and dark streets, but the brighter and cleaner main roads are just around the corner.

Appartamento molto bello e accogliente, provvisto di lavatrice, cucina, grande finestra e bagno privato; perfetto per un soggiorno lungo 3 settimane come il mio. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

L’appartamento non era troppo pulito al mio arrivo, ho dato una spolverata qua e là prima di riporre i vestiti nell’armadio.

It was a great location that’s close to multiple subway lines. The room had a kitchen area and the washing machine is a plus!

The bathroom had some mold issues and wasn't very clean in places like the ceiling in the shower and some spots on the floors.

De inrichting van het appartement. Goed benut. Van alles voorzien. De metro is maar 5 min lopen. Behulpzame dame op de 2e verdieping.

De liften zijn een drama, heel lang wachten en bloedheet.

We LOVED the convenience of the location and how much storage that room had. There was a bit of a smell coming from the sink but the property managers were very quick to respond and resolve the 3 things we called about. We would definitely stay again.

The fact that we had washing machine

In description was mentioned that the property has a tea/ coffee maker and there was none.

All the necessities are in the room like at home, check in and check out is easy, the location is 2 stops to Myeongdong market by bus, next I will try WecoStay in Namsam, the room size is just right for the three of us, only a little problem if staying for 7 days but the room cleaning service is paid and must be ordered 1 day in advance, but overall everything is ok

The location was very convenient with two subway stations nearby as well as convenience stores, cafés, restaurants etc. The room was a very nice size with plenty of storage, which made it easier to settle down - definitely good for a longer stay! The room was very well cleaned and prepared upon arrival, so it was nice to come. There was also a QR code with instructions for everything necessary from use of electronics to recycling, which was a lifesaver as we navigated using the washing machine, for example. Having a washing machine in the room was also very convenient!

Not much to be done about it, but waiting for the elevator was, during busier hours, a bit of a test of patience with plenty of rooms on numerous floors. As a whole we didn’t feel that this took anything away from the stay, though, as we really enjoyed everything. :)

It was only a short train ride to Myeongdong (or a longish walk). Walk across the main road for a supermarket and more eateries.

Neighbourhood was a little too quiet. But we got used to it.

Die Lage war top, die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral und man war in 20min zu Fuß in Myeongdong. Es gibt zwei Ubahn Stationen in unmittelbarer Nähe, der Gwangjang Marekt war auch innerhalb 15min erreichbar. Toiletten Papier und Handtüsche konnte man sich von eine Art Lager immer nehmen, sollte etwas leer sein. Dort werden auch die Gepäckstücke aufbewahrt bei früher Ankunft und späterer Abreise. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet, mit Waschmaschine, Kochuntensilien usw.

Leider waren die zwei Aufzüge sehr langsam und haben in jedem Stockwerk gehalten, daher sollte man genug Zeit einplanen wenn man mal eine Bahn erwischen muss. Staubsauger und Bügelmaschine musste man immer beim House Keeping/Office holen, was etwas umständlich war, wenn man mal schnell sein Apartement saugen wollte.

Appartamento ben attrezzato con lavatrice e asciugatrice e di buone dimensioni. Il tavolo per mangiare era sufficientemente grande ed il letto era comodo anche per me che sono alto 1,90 m. La distanza dal palazzo reale era tale da consentirci di farla anche a piedi tornando la sera dopo l’orario di chiusura della metro.

Il residence e’ completamente ristrutturato ma si trova su una via secondaria al limite tra la zona bella di Myeongdong e quella un po’ più degradata. Quando siamo arrivati, scesi con le valige alla stazione della metro di Chungmuro, abbiamo fatto una stradina interna che non era il massimo. Arrivando invece dalla strada principale la sensazione è stata completamente diversa. Inoltre non mi sono venuti incontro nella riprogrammazione della mia permanenza: dovendo diminuire partire un giorno prima per spostarmi in un’altra città, anche se ero ancora nel periodo di cancellazione gratuita, riprogrammando da Booking.com ho ricevuto un preventivo più alto di quello che avrei pagato. Quindi di fatto ho preferito perdere una notte che cambiare la prenotazione. Tuttavia non posso dire se il problema è di Booking.com o della struttura.

good location and decent space with everything u need

we stayed 10 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned once , when we got to our hotel the bathroom was already covered in dust , we barely saw staff so we didn’t know if we could change our towels or get more toilet roll so we had to wash the towels ourselves

Location is great as we have 3 lines to go. Blue, Green, orange. It can be quiet and dark in the alley at night. Room is very clean and there is a good breakfast place downstairs.

Scissor and tissue are not provided and the pillow is very flat.

Clean. Convenient location. Very easy check in. There’s an office on second floor to answer any questions you have regarding your stay.

It’s a very minor thing, there weren’t enough clothing hangar so if you do wash your clothes keep that in mind.

The facilities like microwave, fridge etc were useful and made life more comfortable. The staff was very responsive and reply your requests asap.

A good 15+ minute walk from Myoendong, so not so close. Also as there is no cleaning service, they should at least keep a vacuum or broom in room. We borrowed them from office but were asked to return it back as it’s shared by all rooms.

Room a good size and nicely set up. The cafe in te building on the ground floor is pretty decent and the staff are very nice.

Weird building the room itself was as pictured and nice. The building felt like a youth hostel the corridors to the room were like walking through secure hospital unit with exposed gas service lines and carts of clean linen stored in the corridor.

Very central and convenient to move around especially since it was our first time visiting South Korea. The check in and check out process was also seemless, instructions were clearly given. Luggage storage room is spacious and can be accessed on day of check in (if arriving early) and check out (if leaving later).

No room cleaning provided. It can get a bit messy especially if staying longer than 3 days. Would have appreciated a bit of basic clean up service for those staying longer.

Tesiste 1 hafta boyunca 3 kişi konakladık. Çamaşır makinesi( kurutma programı var), şampuan, duş jeli, tabak, bardak ve çatal mevcut. Otel hizmeti yok. Havlunuzu kendiniz giriş katta değiştirebilirsiniz. Odamızı süpürmek için de otelden süpürge aldık. Güvenlik problemi yok. Sessiz ve temiz bir yer. 3 kişi çok rahat kaldık. Kıyafetler dolapları da yeterli. Otelde sigara içme odası yok ancak otelin karşı kaldırımında sigara içenler vardı ve sorun olmadı. Myeongdong caddesi bir durak mesafede. Yakınında bhc chicken olive young 7/11 ve birçok market bulunmaktadır. Konumu güzeldi. Tekrar tercih ederim
