the location and facilities we great, just wat we needed to relax after a stressful time we have had

the first night the neighbors got roudy and very loud, however this is not Africamps fault and they did adress the matter promptly.

We had such a wonderful stay at Africamp! From the moment we arrived, Johann and Anna Lize made us feel so welcome. Their hospitality was absolutely brilliant — they were incredibly friendly, helpful and went above and beyond, even checking in to make sure we had arrived home safely. ❤️ The tent was beautifully clean and comfortable, as were the braai area and hot tub. The views were amazing, but our favourite part was simply being surrounded by nature and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the bush. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you, Johann and Anna Lize, for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Africamp to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful and relaxing bush getaway! 🌿🔥🛁✨

We forgot all our breakfast items at home and Johann was still able to send us a breakfast basket within an hour! Amazing service and friendliness. The game drive was perfect - we got to see a lot of game and the overall experience was amazing! The hot tub was the biggest treat!

De omgeving van de luxe tent is adembenemend. We kozen voor een relax dag met in de ochtend thee in de hout gestookte hottub, daarna een duo massage op ons terras en in de middag een game drive. Top dag.

The staff were amazing. Excellent client service and communication. The views were fantastic. Amazing location and viewing the animals from our hot tub was so beautiful. Best view of the stars I've ever experienced.

The peace and tranquility were wonderful. Sitting on the stoep and staring at the bush was so revitalizing. The tent was surprisingly warm and comfortable even in the middle of winter, thanks to the fireplace and electric blankets.

Les logements en pleine nature avec les animaux qui viennent jusque la terrasse du logement. Les paniers repas des petits déjeuners et dîners sont bien fournis et permettent de passer un moment suspendu autour un braï.

Très éloigné de la route principale, avec plusieurs routes d’accès dont certaines en très mauvais état. Néanmoins le personnel propose une escorte de la route principale aux logements qui permet de faire le trajet en sécurité !

Een van de mooiste verblijven die we hebben gehad tijdens onze roadtrip door Zuid-Afrika. Het terras met hottub is een echt pluspunt, zeker het fantastisch mooie uitzicht! De struisvogels komen tot aan het terras. We zijn ook gaan paardrijden, wat een geweldige ervaring!

We had a broken faucet- but that was the only negative!

Le calme , la vue, le safari à cheval exceptionnel, nous pouvons approcher les animaux de près. Les guides sont très sérieux, mention spéciale à Dan et Fortune. Un endroit où l'on respecte la nature même au niveau des emballages, des petits déjeuners dans du papier et non du plastique, de l'eau de qualité, du lait et du jus dans des bouteilles en verre. Les tarifs, ils sont abordables. Une très belle expérience. Nous y reviendrons en famille cette fois-ci.

The hiking and game drives . The star gazing was excellent 👌 150/100.

Location, tents were really great and do was the hot tub!

We were next to a family with a toddler that kept screaming or crying all throughout the day and into the evening

The property is in such a beautiful location. Quiet, and secluded. It was beautiful to see the rhinos roaming, including the bucks, ostriches and horses.

I think they could invest in the road leading to the camp. It becomes especially problematic when it rains.

Road is for high clearance vehicles or 4x4 in rainy season. Bring own alcoholic beverages and snacks.

The road to was terrible, if was wasn’t in a bakkie I wouldn’t have been able to get there. I understand they’ve had heavy rains but this could have been communicated better. Other than that, fabulous!!!!

The road leading into the property

A fantastic place for all nature lovers who still want a little comfort. This was our second stay at an “AfriCamp.” The tents are well equipped and, especially for a couple like us, particularly spacious, as the unused second room simply serves as a luggage and dressing room. Every morning, we saw antelopes and zebras grazing right in front of our tent, and the daily visit from the ostriches was always a highlight. It was so relaxing and peaceful that we decided to skip all activities on offer and just relax on the terrace (and in the hot tub every day, of course).

There really isn't anything, and you know what you're booking when you book with AfriCamp. The last three kilometers to the farm are indeed only suitable for cars with sufficient ground clearance. Our rental car had this, and we always got through fine with 2-wheel drive. 4-wheel drive is even better, of course, especially if rain is forecast.

The unit did not have air conditioning. Fans were sufficient, but during hot spells, it could be a problem.

Such a friendly greeting from Mia and the team. Made our arrival so easy and welcoming. Ice to cool our drinks, wood for the hot tub and fire all delivered with speed and even a shop for last minute supplies. Mia was exceptionally helpful before we arrived and was just as lovely in person. We look forward to our next stay.

There’s a lot to love about the property. The tent is very cozy and stable, the beds are comfortable. We loved the outside tub, perfect. We were given more than enough fire wood. The hiking trails are beautiful

The final road leading to the property was very tedious to drive through. The wooden floor felt a little sticky. The fridge is too small for a tent that sleeps 5 people. We paid for a daily cleaning service but the cleaning service only came once while we were there…

The WiFi never worked

The best Africamps destination we’ve ever visited. There are so many activities to enjoy, and the added convenience of ice and wood delivered straight to your doorstep makes the experience even better. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which really made our stay special.

The tents are great with wonderful views of game while you lounge in your hot tub. There is also a heated pool on the property and things like horse riding and game drives. Hosts were very helpful and available on WhatsApp. The tents as always were clean and comfortable.

Some of the activities were a bit disorganised and you need a minimum of four people (not for horse riding) so if you are there as a couple out of season it will limit your options.

The tents are brilliant. Nothing we didn’t like or thought they needed. Comfy beds, great shower, nice lighting, fans to keep us cool, kitchen had everything. Fridge is quite small with a very small freezer compartment so worth bearing that in mind. We did a game drive and the kids did horse riding, both great. Loved the hot tub and the main pool. So peaceful and relaxing and the kids had so much fun.

- We couldn’t do our own self game drives, if we wanted to we had to pay for a guided game drive - We had to buy our own wood to make hot tub hot. Maybe give guests a bag or 2 per day as done by other resorts - Several cockroaches and spiders in our unit - Need more than 2 deck chairs - Braai and breakfast boxes don’t give you what the advertisement says. The resort did give us extra meat after I questioned whether the meat portion was indeed 400 gram, thank you - Need washing line - Perhaps service the unit more than every 3 to 4 days included in the rate one pays - Cleaning of hot tub recommended to happen more than once every 4 to 5 days, automatically and not upon request only - Bigger fridge recommended to accommodate self catering

Loved the hot tub,and on warm days can be used to cool off...the view and the horses that pass by the tents...lovely experience

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting and comfortable accommodation.

The units are too close to each other. Our neighbors had music playing and we could hear them talking and their children crying. We didn't have much privacy, you can see the neighbors in their hot tub. We went during July.

Rust, privacy, braai en hottub. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreide ontbijt en braai mand. Eerder teveel dan te weinig. Uitstekend vlees. Safari is aan te bevelen.

Bereikbaarheid. Met een sedan nauwelijks te doen zonder schade aan de bodem. Huur een auto die hoog op de wielen staat
