The smell of smoke as you entered the property
Chambre spacieuse et calme, Golf juste en face, (avec bar et restaurant)
Salle de bain assez petite et rudimentaire Assez loin du centre ville
Lady was nice
It was very over priced for what it was. Beds quite small and not very comfortable. Was average for a premium price.
Good location
Would have liked breakfast
Ruime kamer
Ver van het centrum en onpersoonlijk. Bij vertrek eigenaar nergens te vinden
Very comfortable, we were welcomed with open arms and we were made feel at home. The host was the loveliest woman and even saved us some money by giving us a lift into town on both nights.
Had a wonderful stay, so welcoming.
Very convenient, great location
Margaret the host is very welcoming and her home is lovely. It was a cold and wet evening, but inside was lovely and toasty. A short driving journey into Castlebar town. Will definetely stay again.
The accommodation was superb and Margaret the host was very friendly and a lovely person. Everything about the stay was brilliant.
Nothing.
Margaret is very pleasant
All great
Spotlessly clean
Owner a bit aloof verging on rudrness
Prefect
Room was spacious and clean .
The host was really rude . We arrived later around 22 but we texted and that can happen. . When u asked if we are in a right place she replied with a anger u are awfully late .. showed us a room like we would be kids coming back home too late . I was running b&b and ppl were arriving at 2 am in the morning that was never an issue. We paid 140 euro for 1 night and never will be back to this place. Very unwelcoming lady running it . Please change your attitude coz ppl are paying big money to stay for 1 night and we are adults so dont treat us like kids . Would not recommend just because of the host and her attitude towards her guests .
I liked everything about this place. So very clean and comfortable and decor in house is very impressive. The host was so very hospitable and exceptionally nice lady who made us feel so very welcome. Very homely place. Tea & Coffee facilities available. Would recommend this place to anybody as could not recommend it highly enough.
There was nothing to dislike about this place.
Top location opposite Castlebar Golf course and just a short 5min drive from main train station . Large room spotlessly clean very quiet perfect restful accommodation
Everything was good
Comfortable & clean accommodation.

Convenient for our trip
Wifi would not connect. Passsword provided did not work. Breakfast situation was a bit vague. When booking we were told there was no breakfast available but continental breakfast could be provided, When we got there that option was not offered.
Host v friendly & very accommodating, would highly recommend a stay in property to others,
Quiet, clean
Bit far from town, but taxi easily available
Comfortable twin room.. Very quiet location. Helpful host.
No cooked breakfast available, despite what the booking.com messaging said. We were offered a continental breakfast for €10 each, but we declined. Propert was a little difficult to find as there is no signage and the phone mu.ber didn't connect.
Lovely stay in a beautiful, spotless home just 5 minutes from town. The host was incredibly. Highly recommend!
Lovely and comfortable B&B. Lady was very friendly. Reccomend

Lovely Rooms.Helpful host. Tea/Coffee & complimentary snacks available.
We have been traveling around Ireland for a week and this was our favorite guest house. If you are in the area stay here! It’s a beautiful property. Very comfortable.
Had a great nights sleep the beds were so comfortable and Margaret was a great host. Settled us in then left us alone. The golf club across the road has great meals.
We had a very comfortable stay, beds were good, shower was perfect and Margaret was very welcoming and we had a delicious Irish breakfast. Beautiful house and relaxing armosphere.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about.
Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and great location for family stay

Great location
The property was clean and facilities adequate
Much further out from centre of town than we thought needed to take a taxi which added 30 euro to the price of £150 euro for B&B .Bed but no breakfast. Asked to check in between 3and 6pm which added extra pressure on getting to property
Comfortable beds, very clean and Margaret a pleasant kind lady
Friendly host, clean room, very close to town, plenty of parking.
Fabulous house in a great location close to the town. The room was spotless and very spacious. Tea/Coffee/snacks available. The host is a lovely lady, so welcoming and friendly.
Could not fault this property
Margaret was great, she couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel at ease. Great location.
Very basic self serve breakfast
No guest lounge
Margaret was great. Room was lovely. She gave great recommendations for dinner and a local pub;Byrne's. She was spot on and we had one of the best nights during the entire trip.
Nothing. It was great.

No signage would be impossible to find without satnav
Good location, lovely staff, didn’t have any breakfast.
Margaret was a perfect hostess and very accommodating, a beautiful house and she was very helpful with tips on what to do and where to go in Castlebar.
It was a little further from the town than we had expected so we had to taxi in and out.
Everything was exceptional Margaret the hostess couldn't do enough for my mother and I
Nothing
Excellent breakfast - fair Price ! The Host was very helpful with Information on Restaurants in the area. The Golf course opposite the Site and Restaurant were outstanding.
Wifi didn't work, a second room we booked had the bathroom across the corridor
Very impressed with Rocklands Guesthouse Castlebar. Excellent family run guesthouse with great thanks Margaret & Deborah.
Very comfortable with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Made a great stop off on our way to Dublin.
Comfortable and clean, location easy to find across the road from the golf club.

I liked everything there was nothing I didn't like I
Margaret is a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble and she was good enough to drop us off in Castlebar for our concert. We hadn’t booked breakfast but we’re offered it- no charge! The WiFi was absolutely free and worked well which was helpful. Abundance of tea and coffee with lovely biscuits were provided.
Nothing - We would have loved to have stayed longer 🙂- we loved the area, peaceful and easy to walk to the station if you didn’t want to take the car. The parking was fabulous- on site and lots of space.
It was very clean and comfortable. Margaret the owner made us feel very welcome.
It was bit far for us to get into town, as we don’t drive we had to get taxis back and forth.
Margaret is so helpful and made an amazing breakfast! Everything was perfect!
