Great location, just a short distance from Mapro Garden, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming—especially Pankaj, who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home throughout our stay. The food was also very good and thoughtfully prepared as per our preferences, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.

My stay at oakwood hotel was wonderful and truly amazing. The cleanliness, staff, management, food everything was top notch. i stayed there for 2 days and they made sure we were satisfied with their services a lot. Their staff is very humble and made sure we had a comfortable stay. They made all the arrangements required and ensured we were satisfied with their services. Cleanliness and maintenance of the plot was too good. The garden view cottages with a gallery was spacious and I really loved. The food was delicious. We opted for a stay with i was happy i made that decision. Homemade, authentic and hot food is served at an instant. A perfect stay if you want authentic food, clean rooms, family friendly as well as child friendly, with activities around the hotel perimeter (as it is situated near mapro garden and 20 mins away from velocity entertainments amusement park) and a perfect romantic getaway for couples

The property is a new one. Location is good, very near to mapro garden. There is a inhouse restraurant. Breakfast was good although limited options. We stayed is deluxe room. It was huge and neat and clean.

The location of the hotel was really good and the staff was prompt. The deluxe room was super spacious and worth the money. The hotel staff tried to accommodate all our requests

The wifi was poor hence we faced some difficulties finding good network spots. Also the description mentioned the room as 'soundproof', but it was anything but that.

We had a great stay at Oakwood Mahabaleshwar. The staff were polite, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. They were perfect for relaxing after a day out. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light and a calm, inviting vibe. The cleanliness throughout the property was excellent, from the rooms to the common areas. The location is ideal, as it is close to Mapro Garden and other key sights, yet still peaceful and surrounded by nature. The calm, cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxing break.

The property is located near mapro garden, Panchgani. It is walkable. Stuff are very helpful and good.

Very small room. No basic amenities like sofa, chair, table. Smell of cattle outside the room. A basic room which is nowhere near to a deluxe quality room. You can say it is a place just to stay or to spend a night. Starting from the entrance it was disappointing. Curtains are dirty, a very small cupboard stuffed with extra mattress and a dirty razai, no single bracket in toilet or in room , latches and door locks are broken, toilet lights are not fixed(those are somehow hanging through the electric wire ), frequent power cut…. One cannot finish the points of disappointment Now the canteen is super dirty and the food is not hygienic too as we suffered from stomach upset after having that food only. The garden is just a synthetic grass covered area with 2 swings. You cannot feel the nature nor a comfortable clean hygienic stay in this hotel

Very good ambience and good food

We stayed at Oakwood on 3rd & 4th May 2025 with family of eight members. Had booked 3 bhk villa. It was quite clean. Bedsheets and duvets were clean. Although bed was not that comfortable as it was like sponge matress. Also furniture in living room become old.. .tine has come to replace it now. But cleanliness and calm atmosphere made our stay comfortable. Property manager and other room service boys were quite attentive. ACs & water heaters in bathrooms of all three rooms were in good working condition. Food was good and have exhaustive menu. Location is plus point being in middle of Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani, very close from main road and just behind Mapro garden. Road leading to Oakwood is now in good condition. For budget stay it is advisable if you don't need other recreational activities like swimming pool or gamezone etc.

Apart from good rooms, they don't have any other recreational activities.

The Bathroom was made of Filmsy wood & Glasses, It seemed that this has been a rush job, We were afraid that the Bathroom walls & Glass don't get broken and the hotel management blame us. The Bathroom had motion lights, but were too bright, they had three tubelights attahced to the motion snesor and in the night the whole room got lit up disturbing the sleep of other people

Good hotel, they upgraded our cottage stay to deluxe one. Staffs were nice. Overall it was good.

The route to location is bit bumpy, its not tar road. The breakfast options could have been organized better way(available poha, upma, alu parota, bread toast, omlet, tea/coffee etc). Parking space are available for 4-5 cars but need to park carefully.

The staff is very polite and hospitable. The food is prepared fresh and they cater to all kinds of requests.

All well but the level of service and in- room comfort should be enhanced for a better experience.

Hotel is located near to Mapro Garden at Panchgini. Vienna lake and Wilson point are close to this property. We stayed in a cottage and there is plenty of space outside for kids and pets to play. Cleanliness is maintained very well. Food quality is also very good. Staff behaviour is excellent as well. Overall, this property is recommended for family with little kids or pets who are looking to just spend some leisure time away from our day-to-day busy lives.

Only issue is the road leading to the entrance of the property from the main road. The road was dug up recently for some plumbing work and is still not re-constructed. You need to drive very carefully on this patch leading to the property. Also the rates are bit on the higher side.

Oakwood is a small-ish "resort" but I liked the feel of a private accommodation as against to many people in a typical resort. Oakwood has a central quadrangle and provides few outdoor sport equipments like cricket, badminton, swing set etc The food was good, no complaints there. They have good wifi too.

I felt the room was a bit small for the price. We asked for an extra bed and with that the room was fully occupied.

The staff is excellent and supportive. The property is in a great location, just 4-5 minutes from Mapro Garden. Rooms are spacious and clean. Access is via a narrow, bumpy lane behind the main road, but it takes only a minute to reach.

The staff were quite helpfull and very much supportive in helping us by giving us the kitchen to cook for our 2 years old baby.

Location is a plus point. Mapro garden is at walking distance from this property.

Although we booked room for 4 people they provided mattresses for two and they were not good. The food is good but restaurant opens late 8.30 in the morning and 5.30 in the evening and they don't even serve tea before that.
