I liked the hosts... they were very very nice.. served amazing food and they were just lovely.

It didn't really feel like a hotel... I think they need to renovate it and upgrade the beds and interiors. Its looked like a cheap road side motels.

I stayed on the ground floor, where a cot was placed outside the room near the window and was occupied by a household member. This arrangement compromised privacy and made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the curtains did not effectively block outside light, causing the room to become excessively bright as early as 6:00 AM and disrupting sleep. The windows also lacked adequate soundproofing, and late-night conversations from outside the room were clearly audible, further affecting our rest.

Very bad road and approach, no pucca road, no even road, bad muddy kuchha road down the hill, absolutely nothing closeby, no proper parking, no lift / elevator, balconies are common, Extreme Rat menace at night, It's SCARY, very Small room, water supply on taps in the washroom is so slow that it is almost nil, Internet wifi hardly ever works, the Tv Channels don't have any subscription you have to ask to get one, no OTT works ( tv is outdated). Food and beverages are unnecessarily costly and not up to the market in terms of even basic taste. Lights are very dim and rooms are gloomy. Bedsheets and towels are untidy and of very poor quality. Hygiene needs to be a lot better, Hosts are not truthful

The only minor downside is a short patch of road, hardly 100 meters long, that is muddy and forest-like. It’s a minor inconvenience but worth it for the serene stay.

Nice place if you just want to unwind and relax in the mountains. Near the Mapro garden, go-carting and Metgutad market. Hotel is run by a decent and hard-working Gujarati family, who are always available if you need anything and pays attention. Enjoyed homemade breakfasts and dinner, with a touch of Gujarati cuisine. Safe for family stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Mahabaleshwar Mount View with my wife for 3 nights and 4 days, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully located with a scenic hill view, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The property is run by a warm and welcoming Gujarati family who made us feel right at home. Their hospitality was truly exceptional—very friendly, caring, and always ready to help. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The meals were delicious, homely, and prepared with great care, especially if you enjoy Gujarati-style cuisine. They also went the extra mile by arranging pickup and drop from the main bus stand, which made our travel very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mahabaleshwar.

The people who run this home stay sort of resort are nice and hard working. They make a great effort with the limited resources that they have on hand. The location is great and the view is great. The rooms are clean even though they are fairly small. The food is veg. They will order non veg for you if needed. It is a homely place away from the main town.

The property appeared to be a fairly good, 3 star hotel according to Booking.com mobile app. Maybe we were confused. This resort is not really a hotel. It is more of a homestay or, at best, a lodge. It is probably good for groups of young people. There is no restaurant, for instance. The food is served in the car park. While the couple running the place are nice and helpful, nobody should confuse this place with a standard three star or even a one star hotel. The breakfast is a choice of one dish which will be served in your room - upma or poha or two slices of bread with toast. Do not confuse this with the normal breakfast spread in the usual "breakfast included" choice. You have no choice but to opt for the breakfast there since there is no other place close by. The rooms are fairly small and the Premium rooms are on the second floor. There is no lift. Hot water is available for a few hours in the morning and evening. At other times it is available on demand. The premium room is simply a super deluxe room with better decor. Size is the same.

The property is in a very picturesque location. The views are amazing. It is somewhere in between Mahabaleshwar and Panchgini, so its great if you have your own car, otherwise the taxi costs really do add up. There is a bus stop not too far away, so the local stat buses are a possibility. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The hosts are great, friendly and hospitable.

Stairs - there are no lifts. Far from restaurants and cafe, so limited options for eating out.

We had a wonderful experience! The location was ideal, and the hospitality was exceptional. The welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The homemade food was delicious, and the kids loved the play area right outside our rooms. Safety and security measures were impressive. Overall, our stay was cozy and enjoyable.

The entrance to the property could be improved. There was no clear signage, making it difficult to locate. The property is situated down a small path from the highway, and the only indicator was a small flex hanging from a tree, which was hard to spot.

It was great...the lady made great excellent dishes and were very cooperative. They were excellent from beginning till end.

Hotel is located near to Mapro Garden at Panchgini. Vienna lake and Wilson point are close to this property. We stayed in a Premium Room and there is plenty of space outside for kids and pets to play. Cleanliness is maintained very well. Food quality is also very good. Staff behaviour is excellent as well. Overall, this property is recommended for family with little kids or pets who are looking to just spend some leisure time away from our day-to-day busy lives.

It was a good place to stay little away from the busy area. The hosts were excellent and food prepared by them were very tasty.

Few meters of the road to the property is not good. Also, the quality of the bed not up to the mark.

From Main Road to hotel the road was a mud road like 150mts. That's not a big problem as you can drive through.

since we came a little early they gave us a choice of rooms. we were a large group and they accommodated us well. check in was easy and they helped us settle.

food was served in parts as and when we requested they started making it which took too much time. the 2nd floor climb with all our luggage was a little tough for some of the group since there was no elevator.

the place was nice and the management was very supportive while we checked in and gave us rooms based on our need

the breakfast was very limited, the entry point from the main road was very narrow and dangerous to a point due to oncoming traffic

Great views (in the rooms with balcony), conveniently located between Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. Staff is extremely helpful, the service is great, and there's decent food available if you place the order early enough.

Limited availability of hot water (7-9 AM). The road to the property itself, about 100 meters or so, is a narrow dirt path that's difficult to navigate. While we appreciated the service, it's honestly a bit overpriced.

Hotel Mount View is a spectacular hotel with great views of the mountain. The room is clean, comfortable and convenient. The balcony is a great spot to watch the sun rise and set every day. Nilesh and his wife are wonderful, they went beyond expectations to meet my needs. His wife makes the most wonderful food to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

First of all the location is secluded. No sound of traffic. Clean and the staff was very helpful. Home cooked food was delicious. View was amazing.

Only the road leading to the hotel is off terrain. But that is not that much of an issue.

The staff was great the and the rooms are just amazing the view from the room is of mountains and valleys. Kudos to staff who helped us with everything his name is Nilesh and he did everything to make us at ease also the owner has a personal touch with the guest and the property also have bonfire and karaoke nights every day it was worth every penny and the evening is well spend also the stars in the night in open bonfire looked as if we are in the galaxy……..please visit if u want the stay u never forget……..great work manager Nilesh

Excellent stay. Very clean and neat rooms. The actual rooms are even better than in the pictures on bookin.com. Super, home cooked food by Ms. sejal. The property managers/ owners were ready to accommodate any request and make you feel at home. They even arranged a bonfire for us, which was an icing on the cake!!

It was a very pleasant experience . Nilesh and his family made our stay such a comfortable and memorable one that I'm going to suggest to all my friends and relatives who want to visit Mahabaleshwar to stay here for a homely experience. If health permits , we're coming back here again .

only 0.1 mtr road issues

The couple who run this hotel are very hardworking and very helpful. Food served is hot and fresh. Stay on 2nd floor for good mountain view. It was a bit chilly in our visit in May 24,so carry some woollens with you. The owners wife does the veg cooking herself so please place your order early so that it comes on time as she has to cater to all the guests, hence there might be delay in case you place your food order late. The non veg is ordered by them outside from the neighborhood restaurant and delivered to your room. Hot water is available 24 hours but takes time cause it's on solar. Toiletry kits are provided by them which included toothbrush,toothpaste, soap, etc
