View was fabulous, an evening looking out on the lake from the hot tub spectacular. The pod itself very clean and cozy.

My toilet was not clean on arrival and tv would not work for any channels, bed very noisy.

A wonderful place near the lake, cosy warm houses with the smell of wood. We had a great rest and enjoyed the scenery. Near there is a cafe with delicious food and friendly staff, there is also a small shop nearby where you can buy everything you need. The territory is clean and tidy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail.

It would be great to attach a few hooks for jackets to the wall.

Everything, its a stunning place. 🥰 This is our 3rd time to stay and each time it is just as beautiful. Immaculate pods and surroundings. Its so peaceful. The wheelhouse cafe serves amazing food and have such friendly staff. An amazing place 🤗

Such a quiet and beautiful spot. The pods are arranged incredibly well for privacy, they’re comfortable inside, and the hot tub was well worth the additional fee. John was friendly and happy to help when we needed.

Would have liked if soaps and shampoo were provided as well as some more hooks for drying towels and bathing suits.

Great location- 15 minute walk to Burtonport. The glamping pods were amazing, we had a beautiful view over the lake. The pods were clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing aswell. Thanks for a great stay and great communication

Unica nota dolente è stata la jacuzzi, inizialmente il proprietario aveva detto che la avremmo potuta avere (con prezzo aggiuntivo), ma il giorno prima del nostro arrivo , ci ha informati che non avrebbe potuto darcela in alcun modo.

Comfortable and relaxing, good location, helpful host

I hadn't "glamped" before so it was an interesting experience. The property and location were lovely and I would definitely recommend it to others.

There were no towels (that I could see) and there was no hot water in the morning. Maybe I didn't understand how the water worked but there was no hot water. One thing you might mention is that the Cafe is not open at night but there are tons of shops on the road in. I stopped at Aldi in Donegal and if I'd know there was an Aldi closerby I would have opted for that...

Besondere Art der Unterkunft, die zum Entspannen einlädt und entschleunigenden Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Insgesamt gute Möglichkeit, wenn man auf der Suche nach etwas anderem ist.

Leider hatten wir in Pod Nr 4 wohl die bescheidste Aussicht (einerseits auf Schotter und Gebüsch und anderseits auf die Rückseite eines anderen Pods). Wasser bzw Seezugang hätten wir uns erwünscht. Leider hat bei uns die Dusche nicht ganz funktioniert und die Einstellungen fürs Warmwasser waren nicht klar. Insgesamt hätten wir uns für den Preis mehr erwartet

Great location. You were left alone by the staff but felt like help was at hand if you needed it.

I couldn't get the WiFi to connect despite following the simple instructions. It wasn't a big deal for me, and I'm sure they could've fixed it if I had asked them to.

Mooie ligging aan het water en lekker rustig Pod is ook best nog ruim van binnen en heeft een koelkastje waar je je ontbijt in kan zetten.

We hadden last van een riool lucht die ergens van buiten kwam.

Set out was very good, comfy bed. Very close to Port 5-10 minutes walking good restaurant here and a bar. Site was beautiful well laid out and very peaceful

What I didn't like is that it needs to be more explicit with the zzacuzi, because not all of them have them, and if you want one, you have to contact the owner when you make a reservation, but we called the day we arrived several times and of course he answered, a lady from the restaurant helped us.

Not a big deal but WiFi wasn’t working for us and not a clear understanding on recycling waste removal. I suggest a wee leaflet left inside with some know how.

Absolutely fantastic place! Very clean, cosy and good situated especially if you want to travel around the coast.

Fantastic location and views. Pod was very clean with all essentials, including kettle, microwave, tea and coffee. Heating on a timer so Pod was lovely and warm when we arrived. Definitely come back and book the Pod with the hot tub.

Het uitzicht over het meer is heel mooi. Tevens is de ligging heel gunstig om met de ferry naar het mooie eiland Arranmore te gaan.

The pods were very cool to stay in. You have a lovely view of the pond right outside your door. We went to the Lobster Pot in the port area for dinner which was great. We had breakfast at the Wheelhouse Cafe the next morning and enjoyed it.

We tried to book one of the pods with a hot tub but weren't able to through the website. However, when we got there it seemed two of those pods were available and nobody used them. We also were hoping for a fireplace or some other place to sit and enjoy being outdoors.

I loved the stay such a cute comfortable location , with a very clean bathroom and small kitchen space .The view from our pod was stunning and the location owner was very accommodating and friendly to contact with seamless check in and check out.

The booking we made didn't end up having hot tubs, which was really unclear at the time- looking at all the pictures I can see that this is identified on the final picture if you click into it - but it really should have been made more clear in the booking information. We were very disappointed about this. Also when sitting outside the midges were unbearable due to the proximity to the lake. Not the owners fault obviously but worth mentioning for anyone booking in spring/summer.

A beautiful view of the lake. Proximity to café and quickie mart. Clean, well organized, and a nice assortment of kitchen supplies. The wall heater warmed the space quickly. The host, John, was super nice. I'll stay again when I return to Burtonport.

Lovely spotless well-maintained pods with a beautiful view on the lake. Towels and linens all provided, as well as tea coffee milk and biscuits. So nice having a shower and toilet in the pod, and the shower was very good in both pressure and temperature. Cafe on site with the best pancakes I’ve tasted in a long time and lovely fresh breakfast (poached eggs and sourdough toast) and excellent coffee. Nice town of Burtonport a short drive away. Me and my 6 yo son really loved the stay it was lovely and relaxing. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Great value for money. Also, my son left his stuffed toy behind and I messaged the owner and said I would drive down and get it. Not only did they respond immediately but said they would arrange to have it sent to me to save me the trip. Couldn’t ask for better than that, thank you!
