Big bed, comfortable but very creaky

There was clutter down in the entrance and lots of wooden flooring lying about

The room was lovely clean, we loved the 2 king sized beds, we made very welcome on our arrival and Henry helped with our luggage to our room. I liked having free parking at the property. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very central location, onsite parking & able to leave our car for the day after we checked out. Great tray of tea, coffee, little biscuits, great size mugs, bottled water & pint of milk in fridge. More milk, tea, coffee etc available whenever you needed it. Even sweets for the children which was a lovely touch. Rooms clean, good shower facilities. Very comfy bed.

Blind on window should be removed, quite stained and did not look pleasant on the window, would have been better with either a net curtain or blackout curtains.

Very pleasent helpful host . The room was so spacious and very lovely how it was set out. I have to comment on the huge bath as that was so nice too. I Cannot fault anything and I would definately reccomened to friends and family ,and if we need to stay in blackpool again we would definately return to Valencia. Thankyou

The rooms where brilliant comfy beds the bathroom is lovely and big was provided with a fridge and bottles of water and a carton of milk very clean and tidy would definitely recommend and will definitely stay in the future 😊

Lovely friendly hosts Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and also squash for the kids. Bonus was a carton of milk in the fridge. Everything you need. Clean bedding and towels provided also.

The owners were very nice and helpful . Even had milk and water in your fridge to give you a good start along with tea and coffee. Only about 10 mins walk from tower definitely would stay again

The hosts were really friendly and accommodating. The water and milk in the cold fridge, along with tea making facilities and free biscuits were a massive help after our journey and a nice 'extra' touch.and really appreciated. Clean bedding, spotless bathroom and floor, huge double bath which amazed the kids. Loads of storage Lovely place and would 100% stay again

I was a solo traveller but booked the family room which is massive so I had tons of space. Hamish the host was very welcoming and it’s a nice place for the price and not too far if you want to park and walk to the pleasure beach or coral island which are about a 15 minute walk

Property was in a fab location. Room and bathroom were both good size and so clean. Milk and bottled water available in mini fridge in room that was a lovely gesture. Really enjoyed our stay couldn’t fault it all. Would stay again.

Nice big room and beds

Hamish and Henry were very welcoming upon arrival and great with our kids, they gave plenty of advice about local amenities and attractions. The room was lovely and a great price for 4 nights. The fridge was stocked with milk and there were hot and cold refreshments in the communal area available and bonus sweets for the children. Good WiFi, 2 TVs with Netflix and Disney Plus etc preloaded for ease of use. Henry even treated us to his rendition of Toy Story on the piano which was exceptional! Overall a lovely place to stay at 🙂.

Everything was perfect, nothing to dislike.

The beds were amazing, comfy and spacious. My partner was made with the size of them, being 6ft2 he doesn't quite fit in a normal king size bed so the bed got a fantastic review from him. The room was a decent size for the 4 of us, kids had room to play. The kids absolutely loved the fact that the tele had a firestick in and acsess to their daily fix of netflix. The little fridge was amazing, we like our drinks cold so that was perfect for us! The refreshments were a nice little touch just outside the rooms, not many hotels do that for their guests, cordial and bottles of water stocked frequently as well as coffee and tea. The hotel itself was fantastic, cleaned daily, a selection of books dotted about if you fancied a read in downtime. The little sweet tubs by the front door for the younger guests was nice, my kids didn't even notice untill we were leaving. The hotel in general is well kept and presented inside and out. I didn't meet Hamish other than a quick hello passing at the door going in and out but he seemed lovley, Henry was kind and very polite, took us up to our room and shown us around, we didn't need him for anything but im sure if we did, he would of gone above and beyond for guests.

Central location, the gentlemen was so lovely and honestly made our stay, if not for him this review would look very different. Comfortable beds, milk and waters a great touch as well as the communal tea area etc great idea.

Was put in a room we did not book, which was not ideal as we booked the original family room to have separate sleeping areas, rip in bedding and the chair however these were minor issues and wouldn’t put us off staying again.

We were sent a message the night before we were due to arrive which we didn’t see until the morning of arrival - we were told our stay had to be cancelled due to a broken toilet, it’s not the hotels fault that the toilet broke, however, we were told last minute and due to it being one of the busiest weekends of the year we were unable to find anywhere else to stay which meant we had a very disappointed child who was looking forward to seeing the air show. As we were already in Blackpool (we had stayed elsewhere for the first part of the week) we then had a very long drive home to Somerset which took twice as long with it being a Friday. For future reference I would advise the hotel owner to call the customer with any problems like this so they are aware immediately and have time to replan rather than messaging which can result in last minute notification making it more difficult to find alternative accommodation.

All the added extras included in an already bargain price Free juice, milk in the fridge, TV with netflix, draw full of books and stuff for the kids!

The room was lovely and clean, with a big bath that my little girls loved. There was also a room seperate with bunk beds in for my little girls woth a few toys in. It was really good value for money and one of the best places I’ve stayed in, in Blackpool.

We loved staying here. The room was perfect, loved the bottled water and milk in the fridge ready, the hosts went above and beyond. You had everything you could need and more. Just a short walk into blackpool itself. Quiet area which is good with having 2 young children. We will definately be staying again!

We stayed here for 2 nights, myself, my husband, and our 2 children. The hosts were lovely, very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and had super comfortable beds and had plenty of tea, coffee, water, and even juice available for the children. Parking on site and a short walk to town and beech front. I don't think we'd stay anywhere else in Blackpool now that we have found this perfect place. Thank you for having us 😁

The bed really soft and very clean. I usually feel itchy when wasn’t sleeping at hotel’s bed. But I didn’t feel any. And the host Hamish is very friendly and helpful.Front door free parking is the bonus. Good location as well. Fab!

Extra stock kept on landing so you can help yourself when running low. Small fridge with fresh milk and water. Beds were comfortable. Access to Netflix free and good WiFi. You are only a 10minute walk from beach and the tower. Amazing value for money

Hamish was so lovely.The bath was AMAZING and we had a lovely pamper night due to that.It was pristine.My kids loved how there was netflix etc.There is also wifi included and the kids loved that there were toys and books there for them to play with and read and the beds were super comfy.The artwork was fabulous,the room and bathroom are so big and loved how there was bottles of water and a bottle of milk in the fridge in the room and also squash and biscuits and also loved that all the original features of the building were kept.Going to definatly come again both with the children and also for our anniversary next year.Thanks for such a lovely stay.

Our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our room was not ready, and we were told by the owner to wait for a message when it became available. After waiting around 45 minutes, we finally received the access code. We were then informed that the room we had originally booked was unavailable due to a plumbing issue. Instead, we were placed in a room designed for four adults, with only two beds available. This arrangement was uncomfortable and not what we had paid for or expected. To make matters worse, we noticed bed frames and mattresses dumped in the car park next to our vehicle, which gave a poor impression of the property and raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. When we returned home, I submitted a complaint through Booking.com. Despite being contacted by Booking.com, the owner failed to respond or address our concerns. Overall, the lack of communication, unsuitable accommodation, and poor customer service made this a very disappointing stay. We would not stay here again .

It was clean ,inviting . Well situated for the town centre and train station.

The beds while very comfortable had a very large frame work made of huge chunks of wood . It made it a bit of a squeeze and bump hazard between each one .

Able to park the car right outside and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and it was an ideal place for us to stay for our trip.

My only criticism was that the one bed had several missing and/or repaired slats, which was noticeable from laying on the bed, but there was plenty of spares under the mattress so I just fitted them as best I could myself, as some of the plastic brackets that keep them in place were either damaged or missing.

The double bed and bunks being in separate rooms were good. Fridge in bedroom a bonus as well as the water bottles. It was clean to a degree. The bunk bed room could have done with a hoover and clean because of kids stuff. There was hand soap, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The bath was HUGE! and it has a large shower separate. The sweets are a cute touch!

The windows don't actually close, they're left open, bathroom one was wide open and no way to close it. Bathroom had no privacy glass, it was normal glass with a dirty blind that wasn't blackout. The milk was in date but left bits in my tea. There was no decaf tea option, only coffee or Yorkshire tea. The double bed was uncomfortable. I had to sleep in the middle because it seemed to dip at the sides. The fridge turns on all the time. There's a light outside the bedroom and as the curtains and blinds are not blackout it shines through. It's on and off a lot from 4am I noticed! The towels do not dry you! And I think because they take so long to dry they have a damp smell to them. There was no hand towel in the bathroom. The bathmat was ripped and tatty. The parking is questionable, there's 5 parking spaces to 8ish rooms. The TV was smashed in the bottom left corner, could still watch TV but was glitchy. For the price, you'd expect the basics of privacy glass and blackout curtains/blinds. I wouldn't class it as superb as what booking.com class it as. It was missing basic needs.
