The room was basic but very adequate and for someone with knees that don't like stairs the lift was a godsend. The breakfast was very good value with the cooked food being done to order and was piping hot, not left under a heated for a long time. The staff in whatever job were very pleasant and polite. It isn't often you see every member of staff actually looking like they enjoy there job. I will be loohing to book next year.

It's not so much a complaint but a seperate chair would heve bee welcome in the room as people don't only want to sit down on the bed. Just a thought.

No drinking water supplied and no milk, you had to go to reception to get milk, which is no good when still in PJ's in the morning and want a cuppa.

The bedroom small the bathroom dated awful very very small had to ask for fresh towels no one came to clean the room etc etc …. the room is in much need of makeover not nice at all … will not return breakfast not great small portions had to pay for more … noisy doors slammed constantly just not a pleasant stay . But staff fab .

Good location as only 5 mins walk to the prom. Plenty of shops close by. Walking distance to Blackpool North Train Station Staff very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to help me and my friend feel welcome when my friend wasn't feeling well. Allowing us to eat our takeaway in the bar, giving us crockery and cutlery. One member of staff also fixed my friends mobility scooter and we would have been stuck without it. They also had great patience with other guests who had various disabilities

A spacious room which was easy to locate following the clear and precise directions given by the receptionist. The room was very clean on arrival and had everything we required for our 2 night stayjh The breakfast was exceptional on both days, both the food and the staff. It was nice to wind down with a drink from a well stocked bar, which was served by a member of staff with a good sense of humour.

As a family of 5 it was great to have a room that catered to a larger family. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and cooked fresh with individual preferences. I would definitely stay there again.

This Hotel is the nicest l have been too in Blackpool the staff are very nice ,and help you any time day or night ,l have stayed there many times ,the Loction is only a 10 min walk into the town ,and is vaule for your money and would recommend this hotel .

We had a family room which was great in size but there was no bedside light for where the double bed was so either had to rely on bedside lamps (which did not give off enough light)from otherside of room as the ceiling light was far to bright to have on. Also chairs in riom were nit comfortable, would have been nice to have a bedside table next to the double bed. Also a bit misleading about parking under impression that it was included when booking but parking was reasonably priced and didnt mind as our stay was good value.

Breakfast was really good what spoiled it for us was the room it wasn’t good the place looked like it is in desperate need for a makeover. The bathroom wasn’t great either I could only just use the toilet because it’s a necessity we could not get in the shower. The windows looked like they were cracked around the window frame and you could see the foam that you fill to help with the mistakes you e made. The ceiling was full of holes and one of the roof tiles was lifting up with wind blowing. The room lets the hotel down in my opinion.

Stayed here a few years now to attend the "run the lights" event. Always a good friendly experience. Roomy hotel with good breakfast. Good for car parking.

We went on 14th til 17th august 26 what a terrible time we had firstly when we got there room was filthy we told manager who told us it wasnt and thats because his girlfriend and stepdaughters clean it we also went at same time dancers which we accepted buttttttt what wasnt acceptable was those dancers were slamming doors running down the cooridoors screaming i then went down to complain to manager who then didnt deal with my complaint he sent there chaperones to me ... and when we complained to the general manager she believed all there lies and there was a lot of lies believe me weve been going to this hotel the beecfield in blackpool for about 10 yrs and had no problems till now ..i wouldnt normally write a review as i like them all but the lies being told by manager and his staff ie family and gen manager believing them has inspired me to write this

Rooms need done up. Room was full of dampness. Bathroom sink tap needing sorted. Spring in bed. Been here afew times but has went down in my expectations.

The staff were very friendly. Rooms were adequate. Communication on lack of disabled access was provided.

The building has been adapted for disabled guests however some mobility is required as there are steps to the lift. On that basis I could not stay again.

My bedroom was comfortable & clean but it could have done with some wall decorating in places. Great staff, only they said they would contact me by phone/text about an enquiry I made regarding future accommodation, but they never did.

Great location on 300m from the beach. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Clean rooms. Pleasant well stocked bar. Incredible value for money. IMPORTANT POINT! Book directly with the hotel (telephone or website) DO NOT use booking sites. If you book directly breakfast is included in the price and you get a big discount on parking. Breakfast is well worth having.

Handy car park next door. Big spacious bar. Easy to come and go. Good price. Clean. Easy to check in. Overall a capable stay and hosts.

No lock or catch on bathroom doors, so the door kept opening and banging in the night with every draft. The area is a bit rough/run down, but i guess theres nothing the hotel can do about that. Its basically a large pub with rooms. Reception guys look a bit scary, but were proficient.

Stayed here with 3 friends for Norther soul weekend for three nights Fri-Sun inclusive, welcoming staff, excellent breakfast. ensuite rooms, felt very comfortable on the whole. Within easy walking distance to the town

On being greeted by the owner, I was told that I had to pay £12 for parking. I was told that I would be given an extra day for parking so therefore this would account for the £12. I was confused by this as I was only staying one night, but had to pay for an extra day's parking even though I wouldn't benefit from it. I was given my key and told were the room was. On coming back from the restaurant and cinema where I went that evening, I decided to get ready for bed. I was lying on the bed when i saw a small reddy brown insect crawling across the duvet. I quickly got out of bed and got toilet paper and I killed the bug. I looked on Google for this type of bug and was told it was a bed bug. I was also told where there was one, there would be others so I set about turning the mattress and the duvet upside down to see if there were any others. I found a smaller black crawly on the mattress, which again i killed. Fortunately I found no more bugs and went to sleep. In the morning, I went down for breakfast, and even though I had chosen a table, was told to move to a different one after giving the waitress my room number. I was told to help myself to cereal and juice and I was asked whether I wanted tea or coffee. After 5 minutes a basket was delivered with 4 triangle of white toast. I checked the menu and it said that there was a choice between white and wholemeal, a choice which was never spoken about. I then asked whether they have dairy free spread as there was only sachets of normal butter on the table. The waitress then brought out a 400g tub of sunflower spread. She apologised about the situation and having such a big tub on the table. I asked about the full English breakfast when offered it and enquired as to whether the hash browns had milk in them. The waitress again went into the kitchen and asked. She came back and said that they 'may contain milk.' I decided against them and the beans but said I would like everything else. The plate was brought and I was told that as I wasnt having the hash brown and beans, I had been given an extra sausage. Overall, I thought there were things that could have been done better and more attention paid to the little things that make a stay in a B&B like this, much more pleasurable!

When I booked this stay on booking.com breakfast was included like last year. Recieved an email from the hotel telling me that breakfast wasn't included if I booked it with a third party!! I book a hotel for our stay if they include breakfast - Going to have to book a different hotel next!

Location was perfect, breakfast was spot on and the staff was fantastic. Little games room with a dartboard was awesome as well as we was on a darts trip.

Doors slamming. Should be a device on doors to prevent them slamming. No been able to get to sleep and being woken up by room doors crashing ain’t the greatest.

Stayed at beechfield for 4 nights as a group of 3 . Staff couldn't be more helpful . Jay was really good and couldn't do enough for us . Breakfast was also good and couldn't fault that either . Rooms are adequate but have everything you need in them . Room was warm but again staff came to the rescue again and provided a fan for our entire stay . Plenty parking too which wasn't expensive . All in all . Nice hotel and lovely staff and reasonably priced . What more do you want

The hotel was clean with all amenities and a great location, the staff could not do enough to make our stay anymore pleasurable and a great breakfast wouldn't stop anywhere else now in Blackpool now . I would highly recommend.

The weather was hit and miss but when it hit was glorious

A homely hotel very clean, really good atmosphere, the staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the hotel bar was like being in your local pub it was very pleasant with other holiday makers there that came back year after year. Jason the bar manager was very attentive and very helpful, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, location of the hotel was perfect to get to the beach and the tower would highly recommend the hotel

Visited Blackpool friday-sunday for a solo trip, as had tickets for the Lytham Festival (easy bus ride to and from). Simple check in and warm welcome. I had a single room (£90 for 2 nights with breakfast) - I would liken it to a well used student digs... but it was secure, clean, quiet and worth it for the money. Could my room do with a lick of paint? Yes. Did that impact my stay? No. Decent pressure and temperature shower and bed comfy. Some drawers and a few hangers if you needed some storage. Kettle in the room with tea and coffee (milk provided on request). Hairdryer and towels provided. Location is great for accessing the centre and the promenade. Parking easy - £20 for 2 nights. Breakfast hit the spot and served quickly. The best part for me - As a solo female traveller, I could not have been made to feel more welcome when down by the bar - bringing me into conversation and including me. Staff generally always appeared to either be cleaning or engaging with guests. Decent stocked bar and snacks for the late night munchies. Would absolutely stay again if visiting Blackpool.

Location and the staff on our second day

The staff on the day we checked in. One man in particular was the rudest person ever. He called himself Sir then the C swear world… it was awful! He was so unhelpful and made us feel really unwelcome. On top of that none of us slept on the first night because of the heat. No ventilation, no fans even though we called to ask and were told they had some! He wouldn’t even give ice because he said it had to be shared between hotels. It was just an awful experience.
