Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The accommodation itself is great. Location too especially if you're traveling by train. Access information to the apartment worked well too.
Unfortunately on my first night there I found several cockroaches in the bathroom. I ended up killing several of them around the apartment. The host was apologedic but was only able to offer me other accommodation on the other side of lake Lugano, so in another town.

Da wir am Wochenende dort waren, war es sehr laut auf den Strassen, auch bei geschlossnen Fenster hat man es sehr gut gehört.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Muy bien ubicado, limpio, bonito, amplio, bien decorado, fácil acceder, buena cama, buen wi fi, tv inteligente, la lavadora genial, llevamos un mes viajando. Lo recomiendo
Sin aire acondicionado, no dejan jabón y shampoo, lo que decían en otros comentarios sobre los trabajos en el edificio del frente, quita privacidad y mucho ruido desde temprano, cuando terminen los trabajos las estancias serán mucho más confortables

Reviewed May 15, 2026Very clean, tidy apartment with a comfortable bed and located conveniently close to shops, public transport and a beautiful nearby lake. Mostly fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were responsive and accommodating.
No microwave. Can get a little bit noisy late at night with people who’ve had a few too many wines walking around outside.

Die Lage des LuganoApartment ist einfach unschlagbar: so zentral, dass wir alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen konnten – und der Bahnhof ist wirklich nur einen Katzensprung entfernt, was die Anreise super entspannt gemacht hat. Das Apartment selbst ist stilvoll eingerichtet, super sauber und die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefühlt!

Noise. The Lugano Autumn Festival was taking place and for the 2 nights we were there the music was happening directly below the apartment. It was very loud. We did not get to sleep until 1 am.

Cozinha muito mal equipada: não havia microondas, havia forno mas não havia recipientes que fossem ao forno, só dois tachos funcionavam no fogão. Berço não montado à chegada: cobraram extra e nós é que fizemos a cama. Ar condicionado portátil pouco eficiente.

There is one bed and a sofa. The bed is fine. The sofa has a soft matras so not really comfortable for sleeping for adults.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025The apartment is just opposite the funicular to the Lugano main station and also near to the lake, restaurants, shops (manor) and groceries (coop). It was very clean, cosy, and also had many facilities such as kitchen, washing machine with drier.

The very loud construction noise NEXT DOOR starting before 7am. Host seemed very good but told us that the apartment had been fully booked over the previous two weeks and had received no reports of noise. Was she in contact with them? If not, that’s the only way that that could be a truthful statement. We loved the apartment; hated the noise that went on from before 7am until after 5pm.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2025Good location right next to the funicular. Good restaurants nearby. Centre of Lugano. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The host has done a really good job. I would happily book again.
Nothing of note. I did find very little soap and shampoo available in the shower.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2024Excellent location! Quick funicular ride down from the train station drops you at your door to this beautiful and super clean apartment. A few minutes walk to the lake, grocery stores, dozens of restaurants and too many luxury brand stores to mention here. Nice washing machine/ dishwasher cooktop/ oven/ refrigerator/ freezer and dishwasher here. Nice little balcony too! Great host!
There was no sharp knife in the apartment. Delivery trucks start working down below the apartment at approx. 7:30 am that are a bit noisy though this was not really an issue for us.
