Tikaban

Nous avons passé un super séjour à la Tikaban ! Le logement était très propre, parfaitement équipé et idéalement situé, avec une magnifique plage juste devant. Un grand merci à Gérard et Pascale pour leur accueil si chaleureux et leur gentillesse. Pascale a été de très bon conseil, notamment pour les restaurants, et a été vraiment aux petits soins pour nous tout au long du séjour. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons vivement la Tikaban ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. 😊

Perfect spot for relaxing and snorkeling in Mauritius. Tikaban is definitely a hidden gem that we will for sure visit again. Wonderful stay.

Location is fantastic, Tibakan bungalow is located on the best part of point d'Esny beach. This part of beach is suitable for both swimming and snorkelling. Water is cristal clear, coral garden is few meters on the left hand side, sand is soft and white. The hosts pick me from Black River for 2500 MUR and drove me to the airport for 800MUR. It is expensive, but transfers as a whole in Mauritius are overpriced, taking into account that fuel is only 1 EUR per litter. Bungalow is small, but it is ok for few days. Kitchen box is well equipped. Bungalow is cleaned daily.

The hosts have two bungalows-Tilakaz and Tibakan. Tilakaz has sea view and is much bigger than Tibakan. It is away from the street and street noise is not an issue. Tibakan overlooks Tilakaz' back, it is located two meters from main street and there is serious noise till midnight. My neighbours tolf me that they renred Tilakaz for 80 EUR/night, which is good value for money. Unfortunately Tibakan is offered fot 75 EUR/night and is overpriced taking into account lack of view, big sreet noise and smaller size.

Simply a must-stay place for all honeymooners! Very cosy and romantic. The outdoor kitchen is super cool. And there is a beautiful beach literally a few steps away - white sands, crystal clear water and large corals nearby - perfect for snorkeling. You can borrow various equipment like sunbed or snorkel for free! The hosts are very nice and give good tips for trips. A cleaning lady comes every day. There is another cabin in the same garden but it is discretely separated.

Nettes kleines Häuschen mit Mini Küche. Nur ein paar Meter von Strand entfernt. Am Strand ist nicht viel los. Man kann sich toll entspannen oder in Strandnähe Schnorchel.

Liegt direkt an der Straße, kann manchmal etwas lauter sein. Ein Flugzeug fliegt auch ab und an übers Häuschen, dies ist aber nicht weiter störend.

Wir haben die Unterkunft Tikaban geliebt! Liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet kommt man sich ein bisschen vor wie in einem grossen Wohnmobil. Sehr sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge. Das Highlight ist der Strand, nur ein paar Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Vielen Dank an Pascale und Gérard!

La struttura è semplice ma con ogni confort e pulita. Ogni giorno vengono svolte le pulizie. Il signor Gerard è una persona discreto e gentile. Il mare è la spiaggia sono molto belli, direi tra le zone più belle dell’isola

Superschöne Lage nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt. Sehr ruhig, toll ausgestattet und sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter. Liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück wird zum Apartment geliefert.

Un ruidito que se escucha por la noche cada cierto rato, creo que de la cámara de seguridad. Pero yo soy muy maniático para es XD

La casetta ha tutto il necessario (e anche di più!) per passare una splendida vacanza! Sia se si vuol fare mare (c’è l’accesso alla spiaggia a pochi metri) o se si vuol visitare ( vicino troverai la Rault biscuits factory, Bois chery per il tea museo + splendida degustazione! o Talamaka winery dove fanno il vino con i litchi! E ancora molto altro!!) anche se si vuol far trekking sono molto belli i percorsi della valley del Ferney. I proprietari sono spledidi! Ottima accoglienza.

La Tikaban a son charme ! Bien équipé et il y a ce qu'il faut. La plage se trouve à même pas 30m à pieds. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins et nous ont donné des recommandations pour manger à l'extérieur. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment pour notre premier voyage à l'île Maurice.

Emplacement idéal, jardin clos donnant vue sur l'océan avec accès privé à la plage, idéal pour un petit déjeuner sur la plage ou y passer le début de soirée. Parking privé et calme absolu à contre courant de la côte ouest/nord Hôtes très sympathiques et à l'écoute, ouvert à la discussion et au partage, accueil chaleureux Merci

So cute and right on the beach, lovely hosts

Such a cool space and so well executed. The hosts were incredible and went above and beyond to settle us in. Incredible snorkelling (was very grateful for the mask loan!) right out the front and easy beach access. Well stocked kitchenette for cooking and nice hot water.

Do note there is another property in front of this before the beach but it wasn’t an issue.

No privacy in the place. They keep on watching you on the cameras.

Gerard and Pascale were wonderful hosts ! They even invited us out for a boat trip they were making which was really great ! 👌 The accomodation unit is very comfortable with everything you need and 35m from the beach which is amazing and very special ! The snorkelling right off the beach is first class !

The beach is very nice. The place is cosy and have a lot of facilities. We enjoyed our stay.

The place is small for long stays but overall very nice.

Our stay in Tikaban was absolutely excellent! The accommodation exceeded all expectations—both the bedroom and the outdoor kitchen were perfectly equipped with everything one could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for comfort and convenience. The beach access was fantastic, and I dare to say that the cleanliness and beauty of this beach are unmatched by any other on the island! The pristine sand and crystal-clear water made for an unforgettable experience. A truly exceptional place—I highly recommend it!

Tikaban was the perfect place for us! We really felt in love! We went there twice during our stay in Mauritius and id felt like home. It was our happy place! Its located at the best spot in Mauritius in our opinion. It‘s right next to the most beautiful beach and there are some nice restaurants around aswell a divecenter around the corner. Pascale and Gérard are very, very lovely hosts and we really enjoyed the time with them!!!! Its more a 10++ :)

The beautiful, private beach right in front was definitely the highlight for us. The container's layout, furnishings and features are very well thought out. The cherry on top was Pascale and Gerard's hospitality – thank you! We'll be back.

Pascale and Gerard are lovely hosts--helpful and kind. The place itself is charming and beautifully situated on a small beachfront property. The outdoor kitchen on the covered balcony was particularly lovely. This is the kind of place where you just want to lounge around all day! The location is perfect, with a gorgeous stretch of private beach in front and a short walk to the public beach and local restaurants. Mahebourg is a very short drive away and offers all the conveniences of a large town (with all the charm you could want--I loved this part of the island). Accommodations tend to be expensive below Mahebourg and so this is also a real value.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, toaster, coffee machine, etc.
