Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Wir würden vom Gastgeber sehr herzlich empfangen und auch während des Aufenthalts war die Betreuung sehr gut! Das Studio ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten -wie beschrieben- ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Nutzung des Loungebereichs im wunderschön angelegten Garten! Für die ruhige Lage im Wohngebiet spricht auch, dass Bus und Supermarkt in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar sind! Vielen Dank, Jan, für Deine Gastfreundschaft! Angela & Sofie

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Перш за все спокійний район, недалеко до магазину, за кілометер зупинка поїзда щоб добратися до амстердама. Господар дуже привітний, саме помешкання чисте з всіма удобствами і навіть бвльше. Все чудово на столі нас чекали фрукти і вода.
Усе сподобалось.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Es war sehr sauber und der Gastgeber ausgesprochen freundlich. Auf unseren Wunsch hin, bekamen wir in dieser Zeit zweimal frische Handtücher. Zur Begrüßung gaben es einen Obstteller, 2 Flaschen Mineralwasser und Fruchtsaft. Die überdachte Sitzecke im Garten konnte benutzt werden. Eine abschließbare Hütte fürs Rad war vorhanden.
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr weit außerhalb des Stadtkerns von Almere. Almere ist sehr weitläufig.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Everything you need for a short break, either as one or two people. Welcoming wine and fresh fruit on arrival is a lovely touch. Super-comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, the whole place is compact yet well laid out. Lounge/dining area works well as either. Off-road parking is a bonus if, like me, you have a hire car. A/C cooling/heating is great, easy to get a comfortable night-time temperature. Decent supermarket a short distance away.
Nothing except the changeable weather, but I'm guessing Jan-Louis has little say in that!

De verduistering van de ramen kon beter maar ik ben daar moeilijk in.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2025The place is very clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. Located in a beautiful and quiet area. Easy to go and come back from Amsterdam with public transport, but also offers a convenient parking spot right in front of the house. We really had everything we needed for the long weekend spent in the area and would definitely choose this place again in the future.

Reviewed Feb 6, 2024Compact, well appointed and comfortable. Jan Louis's a great host and has obviously put plenty of thought into creating this apartment. Beautifully clean, everything I needed for the week was there, and a nice touch were the welcoming drinks and fruit. Jan Louis kindly makes off-road parking available which is a rarity in Almere. Only a few minutes from work and a nice wee supermarket nearby. The apartment is in a very quiet area, so a good night's sleep is assured. Aircon is there both for cooling and heating. For cooking there's a microwave and a double induction hob. There's a small dining table which doubles as a work desk and the TV is 'smart' with free-to-access channels. All in all it's a great place to stay and I plan to be back again soon.

Bathroom wash stand and kitchen sink were too small for comfort. Main light switch not to be reached easily.
