Hathai

VERY GOOD PLACE AFFORDABLE STAFF ALSO VERY NICE

AFFORDABILITY PEACE

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hostel only for a couple of hours because we had to leave for another location soon after. Overall, the staff service was good. The location might not be the best, but the experience with the staff was positive

We arrived at 5am and were allowed to check in / sleep straight away, shower has hot water, owners were lovely and basically adopted us as family and invited us for THE BEST DINNER WE HAD IN INDIA. In the end they wouldn't let us call a tuktuk, insisted on driving us to the station. So sweet!

not a dislike, but a suggestion to add curtains to the dorm beds!

The staff was really nice, the property big and the rooftop was really cool! There are a lot of beds in one room but people are mostly quiet and don’t turn on the light late at night. When I was there 3 people were snoring extremely loud, wouldn’t recommend for people with light sleep but none of that is the hostels fault. Also it would be cool to have a more comfortable chilling area , but I guess that will develop soon, since the hostel is quite new.

I had a fantastic stay at Hathai, thanks to Niraj and his great advices. Great location, close to every main attractions in Town. The rooftop offers a beautiful view on the fort and the city, Nice to chill and play carrom

Nice place nice people

The hosts here are so wonderful that I cannot describe them in words. Talking to everyone nicely, attending to everyone. Coming every time for even the smallest of tasks. I have never seen hosts like them anywhere.

Nothing

It’s a really nice simple hostel in a great central but quiet location. Lovely view of the fort. Was a bit concerned about the 14 bed dorm but actually it’s spacious and super clean and comfortable even when full… and the best thing is of course Nirej who is such a delightful and helpful fun host! Would for sure stay again :)

An incredible hostel at a great price point. It's clean, tidy, social and in a really convenient location to the fort and clock tower. It's a little tricky to find but once you find it, you'll enjoy the peaceful nature of the rooftop and the sense of privacy it provides

Good

What a beautiful atmosphere...

The location is perfect, in the middle of the city, but still quite chilled with two big rooftops. The owner is amazing, very kind and he also have me free yoga lessons in the morning.

Hathai Hostel: The cleanliness there was very good The nature of the hostel owner was very good The hostel owner lives with all the gastroenters like a family member and the kitchen was given for use by himself No extra charge is paid It felt like staying at home and not in a hostel This experience of my life was very good The toilets and bathrooms were absolutely clean The dormitory etc. were very good The location is also in the middle of the city Wi-Fi facility is available Water purification facility is available The facilities provided are much better than those shown You can see the view of the whole city from the rooftop

The cleanliness and the staff management it’s so good

The host is very welcoming and very helpful. Especially bathroom that was also very clean

9 star because no locker facility. Or else is 10/10. I did not find locker for the luggages. Also the space between two bits is very less and if you keep your luggages there the room is very congested

Great people, travel advices, very clean room and very clean bathroom, rooftop view, local food.

No bad things.

The host is very friendly. He takes care of everything and makes sure that you get tea, breakfast or lunch if you like. He gave me a good overview about places to visit. In the morning he even offered a free yoga session on the rooftop.

Excellent ambitions, well behaved host, quite pleasant stay.highly recommended , view from room was excellent.

The friendly people like relative and nice co operation .

Every thing was good.

It's not a hostel but a home! Place is clean, comfortable and so cheap.

Location, cleaness was good. Staff behaviour good. We did the design of the board. Neeraj is a nice person. Attaching the design snappy.

There were no hanger to put shirt, pants. No locker

The host was good.. and the property was very clean.. Loved the environment and the people there.. everything was nearby and everyone is very helpful.. one of the best place to stay.. heavily recommend

The Host was so kind all time, he showed me good places and food aorund all Jodhpur, in the mornings we could get free yoga sessions, in the night we played games in the roof with the backpackers and all time the host attended like kings to all guests.

I recently visited hathai in Jodhpur for the first time and the experience was incredible. The owner mr.Neeraj is a wonderful person with lots of stories to tell , the food was good but the best part was the view of mehrangarh fort right in front. Sipping wine on the rooftop in company with some music and the cold winds of November!! Just perfect.

Almost all the aspects are my above level of this place , I mean the man mr Neeraj ji himself taking care for his guests ... tremendous services And especially the morning yoga that's totally admired by him as free for the guest and it recalls my all back pain.... awesome 👍 place thanks and regards

No ...all things are perfect

The staff is very friendly and the property have very cool and calm vibe and located in good location 😊😊

Staff and amenities

I recently stayed at Hostel Hathai in Jodhpur, and I must say it was an excellent experience! The property is charming, well-maintained, and close to Mehrangarh fort. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere for travelers. The rooftop area was accessible, making it easy to relax and connect with fellow guests. Nearby market Ghanta ghar is also few metres from the hostel. The highlight of my stay was the owner, whose warm hospitality truly stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcome and cared for. Whether it was providing tips on exploring the city, arranging local experiences, or simply sharing stories about the culture and history of Jodhpur, his personal touch made the stay all the more memorable. If you're looking for a place that offers comfort, great service, and a homely vibe, Hostel Hathai is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the beautiful Blue City!

Nothing

I loved my stay at the hostel!! The host was very warm and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable, and the view from the terrace was absolutely lovely. It was the perfect touch to make my stay truly memorable and perfectly relaxing. Would love to revisit.

The location is perfect if you want to explore the old city center, offering a variety of attractions, including traditional markets, spice shops, old city lakes, temples, food and much more. But the things I like the most are the stunning view of Mehrangarh Fort, which is truly a visual treat, 10 minute walk to the fort, great food options. #yoga #terrace #greatHost #comfybed 10/10 stay ,Next visit stay. Definitely HATHAI ❤️

The highlight of Hathai Hostel is its massive rooftop with stunning views of Jodhpur. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the city. With friendly staff and Mehrangarh Fort and the Clock Tower just minutes away, it’s a great base for exploring.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hathai backpackers Hostel and it was wonderful. Nidan is a warm and welcoming host. The location was great. One can see the Mehra Garh fort from the terrace. My stay also got better because of approaching winters. If you happen to stay here, please ask Niraj for nearby cafés or any other local recommendations.

Nothing was there that I did not like. Although I did recommend them to start an in-house cafe service as well (hoping to revisit to this soon)
