Everything was clear from the beginning. The owner came there to explain things and handed me the keys. Thank you.

Verder is echt alles top!

Without a doubt, Koen’s apartment is the best accommodation our family has ever booked. From the moment we arrived, Koen made us feel incredibly welcome. He was there before we arrived and had already switched on the air conditioning so that the apartment was cool and comfortable. He then took the time to show us around the entire apartment and explain everything. It is clear that he takes great pride in his property and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. The apartment is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos—you get precisely what you see. Every detail has been carefully considered. The décor is stylish, modern, and beautifully put together. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the bedrooms are tastefully furnished. The charging stations next to every bedside table were another thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The bathroom was equally impressive, with plenty of soft towels and luxurious bath products that made our stay even more enjoyable. Koen came to our rescue with a last-minute booking, and the apartment exceeded every one of our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the town, with two supermarkets conveniently located in the same street. I would recommend Koen’s apartment to anyone without hesitation. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would definitely stay here again.

Nothing at all!!

The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were wonderful! Apartment was extremely clean. The host was so kind and helped direct us to his property after we were lost. My advice is don’t try to drive in the city unless you know what you’re doing!

Toplocatie.

Niks.

Greatly located. Beautiful, clean apartment, fully equipped.

I missed the waste sorting (metal, paper, glass, plastic, organic). But otherwise there were no shortcomings. Everything was perfect.

Modern and unpretentious but exceptionally clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped 2nd floor apartment in a block with a lift. Larger than it looks, it would comfortably house 2 sets of guests (subject to bathroom-sharing appetite) or one for a long stay. High quality equipment, a beautiful bathroom with the WC separate, fluffy towels, tasteful decoration, really well-equipped kitchen, good lighting & heating, a big sofa and dining table. Thoughtful recommendations from the host for sights and visits. Really thoughtful extras - no cheesy basket of goodies, but instead plenty of washing up materials, coffee & tea, plus useful things like bikes and umbrellas for guests, and 2 USB chargers provided in each bedroom. Beds were enormous and comfortable. Plenty of cupboard space. Supermarket is 2 mins' away and the apartment is on the main pedestrian shopping street. Bedrooms, being at the back, were quiet. Good washing and ironing equipment provided (though we did not use it) and there was a secure basement garage where we stabled our bikes. Friendly and helpful owner who showed us round the apartment and (importantly) the common areas and parking access. Situated right by the town hall square and cathedral so really convenient. Intelligently and generously provided in every way - all round excellent.

Everything was good.

Koen (the host) was extremely nice and helpful

Nothing

Zeer goed ingericht ruim appartement.

Eine sehr schöne gut gelegene Wohnung mitten in Mechelen.

Very cosy and comfortable appartment with everything you need (including private parking lot)

The steep entrance at the parking lot, can imagine if you have a very big car this can be scary. However once down, plenty of space 😅

Yes this apartment has all the obvious comforts you need for a amazing stay: comfy beds, spacious rooms, luxurious bathroom and amazing kitchen with all appliances. But its the little extra that made this apartment from a 8 or 9 into a 10, its the little things to show you that the owners really care about a good and comfy stay: phone chargers provided next to the bed, enough fresh linnen and towels on the house, amazing christmass decorations for the holidays, extra appliances like a toaster, smart and super fast Internet, (electric) candles everywhere, amazing lights on every ceiling, complementary coffee and tea and even q-tips and cottons provided in the bathroom. Enjoyed all the comforts, we will come back!

Alles

Niks alles was perfect!

Zeer goed appartement. Mooie inrichting. Alle wenselijke voorzieningen.

El buen trato, su ubicación y amplitud.

Quizá cierta decoración

Heel fijn en huiselijk appartement. Top locatie.

Ci siamo sentiti a casa! Super consigliato!

Koen was a great host. He welcomed us and showed the property. The apartment is fantastic, big, bright and really clean. The kitchen has all you need, included the coffee machine and the coffee capsules. We needed a washing machine because we were travelling all the week and the one in the apartment saved us. There is also a Bluetooth speaker. We really felt like home. The location is in the city centre. We parked in the buildings garage and the elevator helped us to move all our stuff from the car. There is also a supermarket 2minutes away.

Nothing.

Spacious, centrally located, clean

Not a lot

Stunning apartment, everything so thoughtfully presented. Superb welcome from Koen, he made us feel at home immediately. Best location and best apartment we've ever stayed in. Spotless, comfortable, just wonderful!

This is probably the best apartment we have ever booked. Spotlessly clean, so comfortable with everything we could possibly need. Location is in the middle of the city, so everything is within easy reach but it is still quiet and relaxing. Hosts are wonderful and even came out on a Saturday evening to help us restart our car after we left a light on and drained the battery. Thank you for making our visit to Mechelen such a treat.

Nothing.

Genuinely cannot see how you could find a place that is better located, with better facilities at a better price. No detail was left unattended: there were even phone chargers waiting. The host was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were firm and super comfortable with new smooth linens. The kitchen had everything you could want including some free Nespresso pods. The apartment has been in the family for generations but was recently refurbished in a modern but welcoming style. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The bedrooms are an equal, spacious size. The bathroom is super modern. You could eat off the floors it is so clean. The main square is under five minutes walk away and the apartment building is located on the main, pedestrianised shopping street. You can rent a carpark through the host for the day. It is super quiet. The host had left a little scratch card for us but we already felt we had won the guest lottery.

A wonderful, spacious, fully appointed apartment. Convienient location, close to transit, town center, and shopping. Completely stocked kitchen and luxury bath products. Greeted by welcoming and helpful host.

Everything was perfect.

Everything! From the location to the actual apartment. Flawless! 10/10. So much space and host gave great food recommendations. Will be back next time! 👌

Nothing!

Alles was voorzien en alles was tip-top in orde!

The mattress did not fully meet the expectations of one of us. A towel holder in the toilet would be handy. The door to one bedroom was very creaky .

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and I loved how it was decorated with Christmas-themed decorations, adding a festive touch that made my stay feel even more special. All the essential equipment and utilities were provided, from kitchen tools to toiletries, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out, however, was the owner. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, and always ready to offer helpful advice or assistance whenever needed. Overall, this property exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

No

The style and the space of it.

Nothing, it was perfect

Pure luxury - everything was well designed and high quality. Great kitchen, living area, bedrooms and bathroom. One of the best apartments we have ever booked. Location great too. Host met us at the apartment and took us through all of the many amenities.

Outstanding service and really good located in the center of Mechelen. Spacious and perfect for 4 adults (ready to sleep 2 by 2 in the beds). Koen was a really nice guy :)

Maybe the opportunity to have 4 quilts instead of 2 double. But there were 4 double available, so not really a problem.

The host was amazing he gave me a lil tour receptioned me with friendliness and warmth
