Reviewed Aug 3, 2026It was a pleasure staying at Kiepersol! The apartment is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It's clear that the hosts go the extra mile to ensure every guest has everything they need for a pleasant stay.
A special thank you to Mathilda and the team for always being just one phone call away and assisting us whenever we needed help. Your friendliness and willingness to help made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend Kiepersol to anyone visiting the area. I know that when I return to this area, it will be my first choice for accommodation.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026Host met us and she was lovely by showing us around and assuring that we were comfortable. We travelled with a person in a wheelchair and this was important as we needed to ensure her comfort. It was perfect for one person who wanted to have a run in the morning as there is a Run/walk track on the property and she said it was fabulous.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026The farm was perfect for our family stay, chickens, goats, donkeys. Playground on site, felt very safe. Appartment itself is very nice, was clean, with super nice Braai. Even mosquito repellers in the sockets. Super nice accommodation.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026What a treat! The pics looked amazing and although we knew what to expect - upon arrival we were blown away by the large, spacious home and garage!!!
Everything was impressive! The welcoming staff, the cleanliness & comfort of the house, the tiny visitors in our garden (tortoises) to the friendly farm animals & delicious breakfast at the Groeneweide Restaurant (a hop, skip & jump from the house).
Kiepersol is in all honesty one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at!
Would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026We had such a lovely stay! From the very first chat with the owner, everything felt welcoming and easy. The beds were nice and firm (not those soft, saggy ones where you feel like you’re sinking into a boat), and the place was super clean and tidy. My son absolutely loved all the farm animals roaming around — goats, sheep, chickens, and even a donkey in the camp.
The unit itself was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed to get away from the city for a bit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably. On Saturday night a cold front rolled in with lots of rain, but the fireplace kept us warm and cosy — such a winner!
And if you’re a Parkrunner, honestly, you can’t beat this spot. The parkrun starts right on the farm — you can basically roll out of bed and straight into the starting line!
Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Absolutely everything you need and more in the house. Equipment and furnishings elegant, comfortable, modern, clean and just perfect all round.
We'll definitely be going back there again, none of us wanted to leave after a blissful weekends stay! ♥️

Reviewed May 4, 2025We were fortunate enough to get a last minute booking. What a gem of a place. The children 3 and 1, had so much fun running around and feeding the animals. Freedom for children. The restaurant makes the most delicious homemade bread. The staff were ALL friendly and so accommodating to children. This may have been a last minute booking, but we will be back!!!

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025Absolutely everything was perfect. Modern, clean, well-equipped and has everything. The hosts were great and we enjoyed privacy and access to explore the farm. We were welcomed by the cutest goats roaming free. We went as a couple, but it would have been perfect for another couple or two kids to join. Make sure to do the hike around the farm (beginner, no experience, wear sunscreen and sunhat) and pop in at the nursery and restaurant too.
There are some critters, but it is expected on a working farm on the mountainside. If you're not afraid of a few bugs, you'll be fine.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2025Thanks to Lonnie and Mathilda, our Kids and I were welcomed in the most relaxing, calming and beautiful farm.
The guesthouse is very new, furnished beautifully, cosy and very clean.
We grilled every night and had a great night sleep.
Additionally the restaurant in front gives a great option for delicious breakfast or afternoon cake, or both ;)

The hosts were generous enough to assist us with coffee and milk (we didn't realize it was self catering)
The fish curry and the farm bread at the restaurant was delicious!
More Vegetarian options at the restaurant would be nice and perhaps shower gel or soap in the shower.
