Attention to detail are exceptional!

What a lovely place to stay so tranquil and beautiful. We had the sea at our doorstep. The host did a lot extra to make us feel welcome. Just loved the whole experience.

Always a wonderful time at Sandspoor! My son absolutely enjoyed himself on the beach, even though it was cold. Karien is wonderful, and Watson is always so helpful.

Location is amazing Fully equipped kitchen and braai Games for kids Places to sit and take in the views Spacious bedrooms and living area Tv. Heater. Fan. Electric blankets for winter They thought of everything . Generous hosts.

The whole experience was just amazing.

The spectacular setting, privacy and direct beach access . Watson and his crew where a delightful help and of course Snowy the Yorkie.

The bathroom would be wonderful with a bath or at the least a handshower. Karien and Christo where attentive to the power and water interruptions, but backup emergency, like solar or a generator could be useful.

The place was really neat, clean and well organised and we honestly had everything we needed and more, and when I say everything I really mean it! There were lots of nice sweets and chocolates and you could tell they were good quality, they had board games, puzzles, crayons, everything! The beach view was beautiful and the backyard was great for the kids to play (they loved the soccer ball). One of the best parts was waking up and seeing dolphins. The host was also kind enough to offer us late checkout for a couple of hours which was amazing. We even had a relaxed braai with a view :) We'll definitely be coming back.

Such friendly staff. Having the beach as your backyard is crazy. Everything you needed was there. Snowy the dog visited us a few times which was cute. If you want peace and comfort this is the place.

Wonderful location, right on the beach with a beautiful garden in front attracting so many birds. Fully kitted kitchen, perfect for a stay on the Wild West Coast.

The room service was not arranged the one day although the owners and staff had another outside issue to attend to

We enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts Jaco and Karien with team. Thank you. The attention to detail and personal touch of Karien, was highly appreciated. It was a feel of home. The ambiance was so peaceful. Just what we needed. The venue, location all truly a hidden gem of a place. We saw dolphins and seals playing in the bay. That was awesome to witness.

My family and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Our host, Karien, went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had what we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s a personal touch in everything that they do and would absolutely love to go back again. The location is perfect and waking up to the roar of the ocean was simply amazing.

Everything! Karien is amazing! She communicated well and went over and above to make sure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything that we needed in the unit. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the sound of the crashing waves at night was bliss.

De locatie, het mooie huis en het fijne strand!

I had booked Sandspoor way in advance and paid 50% deposit as per the requirement. My booking was made about 6 months in advance for a busy period in Dec, commencing 20th Dec, which includes flights already booked to CT. On 3rd December, I messaged the host to just confirm if all was in order only to discover to my shock and horror that she stated she could not find my booking. Apparently, my booking was canceled. Then she said she made another booking too. If I did not message, I would have got to the accomdation with no actual accommodation! I understand human errors occurred, but do we not do proper accounting. The host then offered me a tiny little room that had no self-catering equipment. What disappointed me was that she admitted that I made the booking 1st but chose to give the booking to someone who booked more nights. I booked 3. At the last minute I had to go scrambling around to find alternative accommodation. I was very disappointed because i had to pay a much higher rate for new accommodationelsewhere as im now booking at the last minute which was an absolute struggle to find. .

Die Kommunikation mit Karien hat super geklappt. Die direkte Lage am Meer war wunderschön. Die Bepflanzung war fantastisch. Die Einrichtung war zweckmässig. Es hatte alles in der Küche was man brauchte, sehr angenehm. Die Dusche war herrlich gross. Das Bett superbequem. Snowy der 4 beinige Besucher total süss.

Das Bad hätte an einigen Stellen etwas Nachhilfe gebraucht. Die abgelegene Lage mit der kargen Landschaft , war nicht meins. Sehr abgeschieden, keine Bäckerei oder ein Caffee.

Lovely owners. House is located directly on the beach. Quiet and relaxing.

Die Lage direkt am Meer könnte nicht besser sein. Die Vermieter reagieren schnell und zuverlässig. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht – super sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das große Bett ist sehr bequem. Ein süßer, kleiner Hund begleitet gerne bei einem Strandspaziergang, während der große Hund in seinem Bereich bleibt. Für das Wohlbefinden gibt es Sanitärartikel, Milch, Wasser, Kaffee, Cappuccino-Tütchen und kleine, köstliche Kuchen. Netflix steht zur Verfügung, oder man genießt einfach die Ruhe zum Entschleunigen. Jeden Morgen lassen sich Delfine in Strandnähe beobachten. Außerdem gibt es einen fest installierten Grill, der täglich gereinigt wird. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Location Location Location, the most beautiful, peaceful, and serene cottage, right on the beachfront. Karien and Jaco have created a very special place for holiday makers. Their attention to detail can not be faulted! This was a week of bliss. Good for your soul! We loved our stay.

Die Aussicht ist der Hit! Küche war gut ausgestattet. Bett bequem. Delfine und große Vögelschwärme sind optimal zu beobachten von hier. Ruhige Atmosphäre. Aufmerksame Haushunde, die alles bewachten.

Schade, dass es auf der Veranda keine Liegestühle gab. Die Bänke waren leider sehr unbequem.

Absolutely loved this place. The access to the beach, the nature, the peace and quiet but best of all the attention to detail we received from Karien, our hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay as memorable as possible. Even the staff were very professional and friendly. We will most definitely be back. Literally a piece of heaven on earth!

Gorgeous ocean views, peaceful quiet environment, attentive host and staff. We stayed four nights in the 2 bedroom house and would definately recommend Sandspoor and stay there again.

This property is superb. It has everything for a family vacation, including toys for the kids. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful and secluded beach front. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The host is excellent and went out of her way to ensure we had a memorable stay. I can highly recommend.

Nothing not to like.

The hosts provided everything you needed and more to make your stay comfortable. The views are awesome and the sounds of waves crashing is soothing. The dolphins was the cherry on the cake. The room was neat and clean upon arrival. We were asked if we needed our room cleaned after our first night which was nice. Karien checked in and was very sweet. We were made extra special with a welcome board and a snack on our beds. They went the extra mile to treat little one as well with a juice box, games and beach toys. Would 110% recommend this place!

Fantastic location - very nice area - privacy well stocked kitchen everything you would wish for and more. Did a linen and towel change mid stay (3rd day )- never experience that before. Karien was always accommodating and giving information / advice. Watson was great and helpful. One of my top 3 holiday destinations.

Karien really went beyond my expectations with complementary wine and chocolates with our name printed on them. The room had everything you can think of. Super impressed.

Location was excellent, the owners personally welcomed us and we felt at home from the first moment we arrived, spacious unit with incredible attention to detail, well-equipped facilities (more that we could hope for), quiet and tranquil setting, breathtaking views.

I cannot think of one aspect.

It is one of the best places we have visited. The tranquility and beauty of the beach at our doorstep was so healing. Watching the dolphins in the mornings while having our coffee made it extra special. Karien, Jaco, and Watson made sure we had everything we needed and more. The attention to little details makes it a place I would love to visit again.

I had to leave.

The location and views of the sea especially early morning and at sunset. Attention to detail with everything we needed. The garden was filled with a variety of plant species and needs a quiet inspection to see what's there. Watching the small birds at the water holes. Walking the beach before the wind picks up. The daily visits from the small fluffy 'security' dog.

The sand road leading to the unit was very corrugated. The strong wind on our arrival day was hectic and we needed to baton down the hatches.

Literally on the sea with the constant smoothing and calming sound of the waves. Excellent hosts and all the amenities that one need.

This was one of the most beautiful places that i have ever been to.🥰 Neatness, Beautiful sea views, stunning cottage with attention to detail, freshest bedding and towels, all overloaded. It felt like i was in a dream when i walked into the cottage. I have never been so close to the ocean. I had the best sleep ever. The sound of the ocean and the comfortable bed was amazing. The host Karien was such a darling. She made our stay most comfortable. What a beautiful soul.🤗. The memory of Sandspoor will be one that will live in me forever and a daily reminder that life is short and precious and I have and am still enjoying it to the fullest. My favourite place. Will be back. Thanks Karien. You are the best🤗

Absolutely amazing. The hosts are the most welcoming and accommodating people I have ever dealt with. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, even in the midst of an extended power outage. Secluded, quiet and beautiful. We even went kayaking with dolphins all around us, which was such a treat!!! Thank you so so much 🙏🏽

Everything about this property is exceptional! Karien was very helpful via Whatsapp and Watson received us with the friendliest smile. The unit is very well equipped with everything you might need. We loved the breakaway and will definitely recommend it.

The setting, right on the beach! Kilometres of white sand! The gorgeous sunset.... the debatably even more spectacular sunrise! Loved it! The well equipped kitchen, the huge indoor braai with split cooking areas for those windy cold and rainy nights! Llots of thoughtfully provided firewood! Great rooms! Washing machine! Tumble dryer! Even a littletrolley with kiddy toys to drag down to the beach! Spectacular!

I liked everything! OK, maybe a metal poker at the braai could add value! I hated that we did not have more time..... and i hated that we had to leave! Thanks Jaco & Karien, I will return!

Everything ...it was an amazing stay. So comfy and what a view ...the facilities were great and all the little touches and lovely details ....great place.

Loved the spacious unit and the lovely view. Our unit was equipped for all our need. All the extras were delightful and so kindly put into the unit. We felt warm and welcomed by our hosts. We had all the privacy we needed and were able to relax and unwind while still attending to our work commitments. The Wi-Fi was good quality. We would love to visit again.

The house was right on the beach. It was secluded. Very spacious house. Had all the necessary appliances like washing machine, dishwasher, chest freezer etc. All bedrooms en-suite as well,

Absolutely loved everything about this property. If I could extend my stay I would have. Loved the short travelling distance from CT, the area, the property is sooo well located, right in the ocean. The sound of the waves in the morning is amazing. Spotted some dolphins too. The hosts were amazing and allowed Rocky(dog) to stay with us for a bit!!!So many reasons to go back again soon!

Well worth it saw dolphins every morning stunning location and peaceful a magical place! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable.

There is no shelter in the patio area to braai with only a tiny little braai. Can be extremely windy so some kind of wind protection that allows you to still sit outside would be amazing.

Beautiful views of the beach right in front of you. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable.

It gets very hot in the room during the day and a fan just doesn’t work well enough, an air on would be great. That being said, we weren’t in the room much during the day.

Great location, basically on a private beach, right in front of the sea. Dolfins swim close to the shore every morning that we were there. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to assist.

Not happy that our stay was only for 4 nights - we need to go back for longer.
