La maison de Katrin est située à une dizaine de minutes du port de l'île, en pleine nature. Katrin est une hôtesse exceptionnelle. Et l'île d'Aero un incontournable !

Beautiful spot- very quiet spot in the countryside of Aero, but still within a short drive of restaurants and shops. Spacious accommodation and the view of the surrounding area is very lovely.

The bed was extra long, which was great. The host was friendly.

We were a bit surprised by the lack of privacy. We could always hear when people were talking downstairs, so they must have also heard us. There was only a curtain between the hallway and our room. There was stated that they had Netflix, but there was not even a TV.

Quelques petits détails techniques comme l'absence fe chauffage a l'arrivee, l'absence de torchons de vaiselle et l'absence de petit déjeuner pourtant annoncé possible dans booking.. mais quelques echanges téléphoniques auront pu arranger au moins le chauffage et le linge de vaisselle...

Es war ein rundum großartiger Aufenthalt. Man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt!! Unsere Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich, lustig und super sympathisch!! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Und die Lage war wunderbar ruhig in der Natur.

Mir hat die Lage nicht so gut gefallen, aber das wusste ich vorher, es gab wenig Kochmöglichkeit, aber das war such vorher klar.

Problems with Internet, more so in the evening. Working remotely would be impossible. If you need to work, maybe ask beforehand about the internet situation (the host said the just got a new internet provider).

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. B&B is rustig gelegen. Ruime, nette 1e vedieping volledig voor ons. Zalig ontbijt.

Es war die perfekte Unterkunft für unseren zweitägigen Aufenthalt auf Ærø. Wir konnten die Fahrräder unterstellen, die Räume waren sehr schön und es gab ein großes Bad mit tollen Pflegeprodukten. Frühstück war lecker 😋

Wir waren mit dem Auto unterwegs und konnten das Haus gut erreichen. Wunderschöne Blumen im Eingangsbereich. Problemloses Parken. Sehr grosser Bereich.

Eine Kochplatte wäre ganz gut gewesen, da das Anwesen etwas ausserhalt liegt und mit ner Mikrowelle alleine ist es etwas schwierig.

Sehr gutebruhige Lage

We booked a room for two people and what we got was the entire upper floor of a house. The hostess lives downstairs with her daughter and we had the upstairs with kind of a living room with a fridge, a toaster oven, microwave, dishes etc. (but no full kitchen, so no stove but we didn't need it), a couch and a table. The bathroom was nice and big. Our bedroom was also nice and big and had a wide bed. There was an other bedroom that we didn't need and apparently would be prepared for bigger groups and a room with the daughter's stuff in it. We were allowed to use the driveway for our car. The hostess and the daughter were really nice and I kinda don't want to write about everything or the next guests might just expect these things. But we should propably mention how the daughter and her friend brought us cherries they picked from the garden and the hostess herself had some tea with us. All in all we felt really welcome and it was much nicer than some standard hotel room.

Beautiful top floor of Katrine's house - there are three rooms to choose from (or you can book more than one) but the other bedrooms are left empty when you stay so you get the privacy of your own living room/kitchenette and bathroom. The place was beautiful, very clean and spacious with gorgeous views across the garden and countryside beyond. No question was too much for Katrine and she was very helpful and kind. We were getting married the next day so she even let us stay later on the day of check out so we didn't have to bring our suitcases to the ceremony!

The only small thing was the shower connection was broken so we had to hold the shower head while in the shower. I'm sure it's just a temporary issue soon to be fixed but a heads up would have been useful.

We were looking for a place to stay for 3 nights for our wedding at the Ærøskøbing town hall. We drove from Germany. This stay exceeded our expectations and left us with wonderful memories, thanks to the host (Kristine) and her daughter. It was like staying at a friends or relatives place. Both of them were witnesses for our marriage and showed us around the island in the same and following days. Kristine made us also some delicious pancakes for breakfast ! We wish to return some time again in summer !

Everything was perfect

The house it’s just amazing, it’s so beautiful it looks like a house from a fairy tale, we got the King room and it was brilliant extremely clean and huge size. It’s really close from Aerø town center just a 10 minute bus ride and sorrounded by lots of nature. And Katrine is the best host ever, she even was a witness in our wedding day. We’re definitely coming back. Thanks a lot Katrine and Hanna! ♥️

We felt very welcome the moment we arrived. We were made pancakes with home made jam. We had everything we needed to make ourselves fresh coffee or tea. The location was idyllic, looking out across fields and watching the hare playfully jump around each morning. Lovely and peaceful area. A short walk to the free bus. Lovely place to explore by bike and beaches close by. Perfect.

The spacious rooms with great views, wonderfully comfortable beds. Katrine was quick to respond to any questions or information we asked. Very welcoming and just such a lovely host.
