Sehr hilfsbereites und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, welche auch gleich eine lange Liste an Aktivitäten, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Sauberes Zimmer mit Ventilator.

Wir haben sowohl im Villa Laliz in Galle als auch in ihrer Villa in Hikkaduwa übernachtet und hatten eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Beide Villen waren sauber, komfortabel und ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst herzlich und aufmerksam und haben uns wie zu Hause fühlen lassen. Tolle Lage in der Nähe von Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten, mit liebevollen persönlichen Details. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Fijne ruime kamer met ventilator. Vriendelijke eigenaresse die je gastvrij ontvangt en vele tips toestuurt over de app. Goed matras op het bed, wifi werkt goed. Je kunt gebruik maken van de keuken zoals fruit snijden, koelkast en snelkoker. Ik heb geen kookplaten gezien. Het hotel ligt centraal in de nieuwe stad, op loopafstand van een bushalte. Je kunt lopend naar de oude stad, terug namen we de tuktuk.

Hote tres sympathique qui nous a donné des infos sur les lieux aux alentours. La chambre était propre et fonctionnelle (console, chaise, chevet, moustiquaire). Le ventilateur au plafond (certes bruyant) est efficace. Nous avions l’accès a la petite cuisine uniquement pour nous, car la seconde chambre n’était pas louée, c’était tres appreciable.

Comme beaucoup de chambres au sri lanka, il n’y a pas de volets et des fenêtres ajourees, on entend donc tous les bruits de l’extérieur et on ne peut pas dormir dans l’obscurité. La pression de la douche est faible et l’eau chaude aleatoire.

I had such a relaxing stay at Villa Laliz that I ended up extending for an additional two nights. Yashanjali and her brother were incredibly hardworking and always reachable ,they even provided a thoughtful list of nearby places to eat, visit, and explore, which was very helpful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed exactly like the picture. it's arranged like a three-bedroom apartment with a shared kitchen. It's a rustic place with gardens surrounding. Like many traditional Sri Lankan homes, the roof wasn’t fully enclosed so nature sounds from the garden can be heard. The location is excellent—just a short tuk-tuk ride (around 250 LKR via PickMe) to Dewata Beach, Jungle Beach, and Galle Fort. It’s also near a bus stop and train station. While technically walkable, I’d recommend taking transport instead, as the roads are quite narrow and not ideal for pedestrians. I felt very safe during my stay, especially knowing the owner resides on a separate unit downstairs

The only suggestion I have that would make this place perfect is to upgrade the toilet settings . To improve the water pressure in the shower, as it was quite low. Besides that I definitely recommend the place

100 % recommend. Family hospitality was amazing, a cold fruit juice on arrival, aunties even made me breakfast. Hosts attention to guests and to detail wonderful such as having salt & sugar available in the shared kitchette and giving me locations for sights and restuarants. Comfortable bed & pillows, even a bed side lamp, so pleasant instead of bright lights. Really hot shower. Best value I've found in Srilanka. I really felt valued as a guest

The noise the morning

We booked Villa Laliz for two nights but ended up staying for five because we loved it so much! room was very comfortable and felt just right for us. garden is beautiful and creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The owners are extremely kind and friendly they also shared useful information about the Galle area. Dewata Beach is just about an 8 minute walk from the villa, which was perfect for us. I highly recommend Villa Laliz to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay near Galle!

Great basic accommodation for a night or two, super friendly and helpful. Great value for money

The water pressure was very low

so so lovely, i didn’t like galle but i extended my stay because i felt so relaxed in the room. it was so comfortable with a big bathroom, big bed, balcony, fan, the staff helped me with every question i had, and there is also breakfast and dinner available for a fair price. would really recommend!!

The bed was very small ,ideal for 1 but cramped for 2 people. The desk requires removal as it was not suitable for eating on and makes the room feel small.

A quiet, comfy place a 10 minute ride away from the Fort. The room is spacious and the host lady is extremely kind and caring. She cooked a very nice curry dinner for me. Great value for money!

The place was super clean and we have a lovely big bedroom, the family that run the place were so lovely and helpful. I wish every place we had stayed was just like this. I would love to stay again and would highly recommend. Also I liked the location out of the city walls and more local area, short walk to shops and Main Street.

A short walk from the beach and about 1 min walk from the bus stop, the green villa is a great escape from busy and noisy Galle. The room is spacious and simply functional with a fan and mosquito net, it's a very clean place and the owners are so kind. The deluxe breakfast was so good and the room fare is pretty low compared to many places in Galle. I Spend 2 night in here. Would absolutely recommend to stay here and hope to be back soon!

The garden and balconies are great. The location seems perfect to me; many buses and Turk-tuks all over. Plus many shops, bakery or so, restaurants. Safe, secure, and away from all the people but still right in ‘it’ really. A great value I am on retreat really and was looking for a condo/mini apartment. Thank you all !

Everything is clean and neat. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The price is really fair. The place is a bit far from the hustle and bustle, but it's just about 25 minutes walking (or few minutes on a tuk tuk) to the center and the fort. There's few stores to buy basic items (water, fruits etc) just around the corner There's a big garden and at night the place is very quite. Super recommended!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they really want you to enjoy your stay. Kitchen facilities mean you can prepare your own meals and fruit. The location is good, especially with your own transport, as you're equidistant from the beaches in Unawatuna and Galle fort. My sister stayed in the double room with private bathroom and she said it was the nicest room she'd stayed in in Sri Lanka thus far.

I think it depends which room you book. My partner and I stayed in the budget double room with shared bathroom which didn't include a mosquito net (which is needed) towels, blanket or toilet roll in the bathroom. However my sister in the one with the private bathroom had all of these things and very much enjoyed her stay!

Great people, wonderful villa and great surroundings! The staff is super helpful and very sweet, the food was great and so delicious. Aunties gived to me free traditional foods. felt very comfortable and I spend more 3 nights. I would recommend to anyone.

Very nice and calm place. Very friendly staff. They do everything to make you feel good. Close to major attractions (like Galle Fort) and can be reached quickly by bus or tuktuk without any problems.

Property is too good and host also.She prepared food for me on request and it cost around 400 lkr fish curry and rice n 500lkr for breakfast.

Location is too far from city and minimum 5 km away.so it is a real hectic for traveller.

The hosts are incredible lovely and make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The location and value for your money are great.

The best value for private room in Galle. It was a beautiful room with high cealing and there is also a small room with fridge and kettle for everybody to use. Bathroom was separately. Location was great - just a few minutes down the road there is a beach with beautiful cafes and many surfing options. Staff was very attentive.

Lovely hoasts, there is a kitchen area with a kettle, fridge and sink to use. All the rooms have fans. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, food was lovely AND when we couldn't get our laundry done in time they offered to help for a very reasonable fee.

This is our fault. We left food in the room and ants got it. Your in Sri Lanka, it's gonna happen if you leave chocolate unattended/ un eaten.

I ended up in the private room with private bathroom. It‘s a beautiful, clean and comfortable room. The Hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Lovely people. They offer great tasty meals. The location is very good. Everything you need in walking distance and still quiet. Surfing Beach just 12 minutes walk away. Everything perfect.

Very spacious and comfortable, a short 15-20 mins walk from Galle fort/ beaches

Simple but nicely designed rooms with balcony, good bed, high-quality bathroom, with everything you need and very clean. Air conditioning worked well, good WiFi. The owners were very friendly and helpful and easy to reach. The price/performance ratio is great. Parking is available.

The location is a bit away from the center, but with the rented tuk tuk that was no problem for me.

Exceptionally great value and very nice hosts. The Sri Lankan breakfast is also fantastic. You get a little kitchen and fridge to share with the other guests. The hosts are very flexible and the communication is mainly over whatsapp.

The ceiling fan in the budget room is loud. Everything else is very good especially for the price.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. She will check on us frequently to make sure everything is alright. We are lucky enough to have the entire room and bathroom for ourselves because the other room is not occupied. The location of the stay is very good as it is a very walkable small town and everyone is helpful.
