Personale gentilissimo. Non è presente il parcheggio in struttura ma consiglio il parcheggio lupo a a pagamento custodito a 10 minuti di distanza a piedi a passo normale
Il materasso ortopedico era troppo duro. I rumori in strada si sentivano tanto

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Great location near the Church with many restaurants in the area. Near the fish market and produce market. A nice park is a block away. Close to the train station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Quirky fun decor.
Not a deal breaker but the lift is only for your luggage. You need to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the rooms.

In seguito a un inconveniente con il nostro veicolo, il concierge si è prodigato per fornirci le attrezzature necessarie e ci ha consigliato un’officina affidabile che ha prontamente risolto la problematica.
La camera disponeva di un bagno attrezzato per disabili, la cui disposizione risultava poco agevole. Inoltre, la camera era situata al terzo piano, privo di ascensore.

No es para 6 personas. El sofá cama del salón es incomodisimo, no se puede dormir . El barrio tiene aspecto inseguro y bastante sucio. La calle muy ruidosa , es un primero y las ventanas no tienen doble aislamiento.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026È la seconda volta che torniamo, la prima volta eravamo in una stanza verde stupenda, questa seconda ci è capitata quella rossa molto più piccola e all’ultimo piano, accessibile solo con scale, c’è un montacarichi ma solo per bagagli. Come sempre lo stile è inconfondibile, stanze particolari e posizione ottima per visitare il centro città, lo staff è sempre disponibile e gentile.
La mancanza di un ascensore adeguato per salire fino all’ultimo piano, la stanza un po’ piccola, il costo leggermente alto rispetto ad altre strutture, non avendo a disposizione la colazione.

Sehr sauber, sehr groß, sehr schön dekoriert, hübscher Innenhof, geräumige große Zimmer, sehr hohe schöne Wände, Dusche mit Regendusche, Kühlschrank war auch da. Balkon klein aber fein. Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Wir konnten kaum glauben, so ein Schnäppchen zu finden. Gleichzeitig war es unsere bisher schönste Unterkunft auf ganz Sizilien. Großer Parkplatz fußläufig in 3 min erreichbar. Haben für fast einen Tag knapp 15€ bezahlt, geht nach Stunden.

No dishwasher, no washing machine, no paper towels or anything to wipe the dishes. No drying rack. Greedy owner. They advertise that kids under 18 stay free, but when we got there they told us the age limit was actually 14. Initially I booked for one adult and one child aged 15. When I tried to change the number of guests to 4, I wasn’t able to do it online through my booking, so I wrote to the property. They wrote back that it would be 30 euros per person. When we arrived at the apartment at night, the person in the lobby asked me to pay 30 euros per night per person — not for the whole stay as stated in the message (screenshot attached). He also said they would accept cash only. Had I known they intended to charge that amount, I would have cancelled the booking and rebooked for 4 people, which would have saved me a lot of money. I tried to show him the difference on the website, but he didn’t care and called the owner — and then I heard an agitated, screaming woman on the phone. They also counted my 15-year-old and my friend’s 15-year-old as adults. We finally agreed to sort out the payment later, as it was already midnight and our group was tired. The bed was not set up for 4 people despite my messages beforehand asking them to prepare it for 4. So we had to wait another hour for the beds to be made. The next day, my friend and her son were stopped at the front desk and asked to show ID — staff claimed they didn’t know if they were guests. Another day, they asked to come to the apartment to change the water filter for the AC. When the owner arrived, the first thing she asked was when we would pay. I mentioned that there was never anyone in the office whenever we passed by, and told her we would settle at checkout. She was not pleasant at all. I told her we were leaving for a trip the next day and would be gone until the evening.

The place itself is beautiful! on the other hand, the fact that it is near the fish market could be an advantage as a location, only that the area is absolutely miserable, you can't breathe. I had the misfortune of getting a room facing the street, with a non-stop cafe. scooters come all night and it's an infernal noise. The windows are made of wood and with a precarious closure ... they do not insulate at all. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired in the location as well! in 7 days the towels were changed only once and it was cleaned... on request.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Very central location, close to all the sights. Very friendly and helpful staff (Glevis and Shantha). Room was clean and specious. Shower was great, water pressure very good. There was a fridge in the room and a communal area with a kettle and coffee machine. There was a balcony with a table and chairs. The room was quiet as it was away from the Main Street.
The AC wasn’t very effective and took a long time to cool the room. The pillows were memory foam style which I personally don’t find very comfortable. There is a lift but this is only accessible with a key and with staff present. Fine on checkin and checkout with our bags but otherwise we had to climb 75 steps every time which was tiring so one to be aware of if you have mobility issues. It would be helpful to have two side tables by the bed, there was little space to put your things next to you.

Poor communication on where to park off site. Not well suited for anyone with mobility issues as it’s 11 flights of stairs (some are longer flights while others are only 4 steps). Luggage only in elevator so you need to plan with someone on property to be available.

Winda - w sumie była w budynku, ale jedynie do jednorazowego wjazdu z walizkami do pokoju. Pokój był umiejscowiony na 3 piętrze ( dokładnie 87 schodów) . Ja z astmą musiałam parę razy robić przystanki. Osoby starsze bądź z problemami z chodzeniem - byłoby im bardzo ciężko. Pytałam osoby, która wydała mi klucze, ale nie było opcji wykorzystania windy w innych sytuacjach niż wjazd z walizkami po przyjeździe. Niestety nie ma informacji na stronie o tej sytuacji, a myślę, że mimo wszystko powinna być.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Wir haben immer gegenüber in einer Bar gefrühstückt. Super lecker!!!! Das Appartement ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man sich wünscht. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Lage ist super! Man erreicht viele Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu Fuß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Da gibt es nichts😉

Reviewed May 23, 2026La calle donde está el hospedaje no es de lo mejor pero… tranquilo, porque el interior, las habitaciones y el personal son muy buenos. Está cerca de todo! Cerca de la piazza del Duomo y del resto del centro histórico, a media cuadra hay un arco que cuando lo atravesas te encontras con: de día, la pescheria, el famoso mercado de Catania imperdible, y de noche toda la zona de bares, restaurantes y trattorias. Tanto Teresa como Shanta son muy cordiales! El lugar me encantó y a mi retorno me hospedaré nuevamente allí. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Staff accogliente. Camera stupenda e molto grande. Ascensore disponibile. Possibilità del caffè. A pochi passi di un parcheggio a pagamento molto grande! Vicinissimo al mercato del pesce e al centro. Ci tornerei!!!
Non e una critica ma lo dico per cronaca: mancanza del bidet. Guardando il muro presumo che non sia stato possibile installare jl Bidet per motivi di spazio (almeno nella nostra camera).

Une des 2 chambres donnait sur la rue et impossible de dormir. Chambre très mal isolée. Pour l'autre qui donnait sur la cour, rien à redire. Tout était parfait.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, das Personal ist total freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen. Durch das Tor am Eingang und die weitere Haustür fühlt man sich auch als allein Reisende sehr sicher.
