SCANDALOSO OVERBOOKING! Pensando che non ci presentissimo causa eruzione Etna, hanno ben pensato di prendere un'altra prenotazione per la suite prenotata da me!!!! VERGOGNA! Non abbiamo potuto alloggiare nella suite prenotata e ci hanno dirottato in un altro B&b...senza parole!

Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problemino da parte nostra e lo staff è stato immediato, gentilissimo e super disponibile nel risolverlo. Posizione ottima, consigliatissimo!🤗

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel very clean (cleaning lady was very respectful thank you ♥️) the hotel is quiet and at the heart of the city a great location as a parent felt comfortable and made easier our travel. I really recommend staying there.

When we arrived at Duce di Uzeda we were a little skeptical, it looked a little downtrodden and a bit shady to be honest, but once inside WOW! Luca has a beautiful hotel / B and B, each room has been very carefully decorated and the bathrooms are stunning. We had three double rooms, each was lovely, each had a balcony and rarely for Europe, Luca had provided a kettle and tea in each room! A lovely touch. The air-con worked beautifully which was helpful as it was insanely hot. Parking is possible nearby, not expensive at all and secure, and breakfast is from a cafe just down the road, coffee and sweet or savoury pastry, loads of choice. located really near loads of restaurants and we had a lovely walk around this area of the city afterwards, it is stunning. We were only here for one night, as a stopover before flying home from Catania, it's very close to the airport which is useful, but not in the flight path. We had a great time here, thank you Luca!

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026I had a wonderful stay at Luca’s apartment! It was spotless, stylish, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, with the main attractions, restaurants, and shops all within easy walking distance. Luca is a fantastic host: friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. He made me feel very welcome, was always available if I needed anything, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I highly recommend Luca’s apartment to anyone visiting the city. I would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Il B&B Duca di Uzeda gode di una posizione davvero eccellente, a pochi passi dal Duomo, dal celebre mercato del pesce e da numerosi ristoranti e locali che rendono vivace e piacevole il soggiorno nel centro di Catania. La colazione, servita in un bar convenzionato nelle vicinanze, è uno dei punti di forza della struttura: ricca, abbondante e con un'ampia scelta sia di prodotti dolci che salati, tutti davvero squisiti. I titolari si sono dimostrati gentili, disponibili e attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti, contribuendo a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Molto comoda anche la presenza di un parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze, situato di fronte a una piscina, una soluzione pratica per chi arriva in auto. Tra i ristoranti della zona consigliamo in particolare Scirocco e Namu Mangia Bevi Ama, ottime scelte per gustare la cucina locale e trascorrere una piacevole serata. Una struttura che consigliamo senza dubbi a chi desidera visitare Catania soggiornando nel cuore della città.
L'unico aspetto meno positivo è la presenza della linea ferroviaria che passa proprio accanto alla struttura, anche se grazie agli ottimi infissi il rumore non risulta particolarmente fastidioso.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Posizione ottima, vicino al caratteristico mercato del pesce e a tutti i punti di interesse del Centro storico ( a 2min a piedi da Castello Ursino, Duomo, 10 Min dall anfiteatro). Posizione perfetta anche per chi si sposta con i mezzi ( a neanche 5 Min a piedi c è la fermata del pullman che porta in aeroporto o alle spiagge). Senza parlare della gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità totale dei proprietari. Luca e sua moglie sono delle persone d'oro. Letto comodissimo, camera e bagno spaziosi e pulitissimi. Se dovessimo tornare a Catania, prenoterei sicuramente ancora da loro😊

Reviewed May 17, 2026Nagyon szép és tiszta, felszerelt szallas mindenhez közel. A tulajdonosok nagyon kedvesek. A környék először furcsa mert egy halpiac és egy vonat szomszédságában van egy sikátorban (mi az apartmanban voltunk) - de aztan rájön az ember Catania vibe-jara és hogy ez a város ilyen és ez a varázsa - máshol sem tisztább vagy rendezettebb. A vonat nem zavart az alvásban - pedig rossz alvó vagyok - jók az ablakok. És a városban nem a vonat a leghangosabb hanem a zene kb 1-ig. Kiemelném hogy jó az ágy és a matrac ami nekem nagyon fontos volt!

La struttura è pulita, curata e molto accogliente, ma ciò che fa davvero la differenza sono i proprietari: persone gentili, disponibili e sinceramente accoglienti. Fin dal primo momento mi hanno fatta sentire a casa, sempre presenti in modo discreto e attenti a ogni necessità.

Il letto un po scomodo, la ferrovia di fianco un po rumorosa come rumoroso il frigo di fianco al letto. La colazione sicuramente in locale iconico ma un po al minimo sindacale, aggiungere una spremuta al caffè e cornetto fa fare bella figura e costa 1 euro in più (ciò che ho pagato per averla)

Reviewed Nov 26, 2025Posizione centralissima il palazzo esternamente e nelle scale è datato ma all'interno le stanze sono nuove e c'è tutto, la colazione è inclusa e si consuma presso il bar della piazza centrale vicino alla struttura ed è ricca di prodotti.
La camera è accanto alla ferroviaria quindi passano i treni e la scala del palazzo è scomoda per salire i bagagli

La colazione nella pasticceria Prestipino convenzionata con il B&B era piuttosto limitata. La cortesia degli addetti al bar, non sempre sufficiente. Peccato.

Le train qui passe sous la fenêtre, le lit à ressorts et le manque d'intimité (on entend tout ce qui se passe a côté...)et le petit déjeuner pas sur place et très succinct (1 café et 1 viennoiserie) le reste payant...

Reviewed Oct 19, 2025The studio is very clean and comfortable. The location is close to the Duomo Plaza, restaurants and shopping area. The fish market is nearby as well. The house owner, Luca and Maria, are very nice and helpful. Thank you very much to them again.

Lo promocionaban con Parking y realmente estacionar fue un problema. Llegamos y no había agua,a la noche se nos corto la luz por un rato.
